"Close to Si Hom Market, there's a lot of food variety at night. The room was good, new, clean, and stylish, definitely good value for money. The location is excellent. Breakfast was served individually. The bathroom was nice, and the AC was cold. Coffee, tea, and drinking water were provided. I'm deducting 1 point because the Wi-Fi kept cutting in and out."

"Professional, kind, helpful and enthusiastic reception. My days were beautiful staying in a very good location and easy to walk around visiting temples. I am not expected the break fast complimentary but I get my simple breakfast boiled rice and sandwiches with coffee. The room is clean, toliet is clean. Thank you for a memorable time in Vientiane. Mixay paradise hotel will not make you disappointed... They deserved good score and highly recommendation."

"I usually choose hotels with a rating of 4.7 and over 500 reviews within my budget. This hotel didn't quite meet those criteria, but I booked it immediately after seeing a negative review complaining about the 'no smoking in rooms' policy! I absolutely detest cigarette smoke! It's fantastic that smoking is prohibited!
First of all, I was traveling alone, and the room size was not small, and the cleanliness was also good. The service was decent, the breakfast was excellent, and the fruit was fresh.
I'd deduct some points for the facilities: Although there was no window, the fresh air system made it not stuffy, which is a plus. The hairdryer was subpar, still using a slow 1000W model. I'd suggest sourcing some high-speed hairdryers from China (many brands available, low cost). The power outlets only had five-hole sockets. I recommend sourcing some panels with Type-C/USB ports from China, which wouldn't add much to the cost (you can find these easily at Huaqiangbei in China). The air conditioning was powerful, but even at the lowest fan speed, the noise was still significant. So I opted to turn off the AC and the fresh air system for a good night's sleep, as sleeping well is very important!
Overall, I still highly recommend this hotel, which is completely smoke-free and prohibits durian. It was perfect for me!"

SSuphaphan Xumsai Na AyudhayaWe arrived at the hotel before noon and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service from the moment we landed. The hotel arranged seamless airport transportation, making our arrival stress-free.
The front desk team was exceptionally attentive and welcoming. They kindly offered us an early check-in and upgraded us to a better room immediately, rather than having us wait for the room we had originally booked. They also accommodated a late check-out request (subject to availability) and arranged our airport transfer upon departure.
The outstanding service, flexibility, and attention to detail made this a perfect business trip. Highly recommended.

RRalsterWe are a family of 3 staying in 1 room and had a great time. The service was impeccable, staff were always polite, helpful, willing to help and always went over the top for us. Special shout out to Aiy, and the duty supervisor whom we didn't get the name of.
The restaurant service at Origin was amazing. We want to give a special mention to May, Kitty and Zaiy who've helped us with organizing vegetarian food and going & beyond to make us feel so special!
10/10 would recommend to those looking for a centrally located hotel and are keen to indulge themselves a bit.

BBudsara ArchawakijgosolThe hotel has been newly renovated and is incredibly clean with no musty smell at all. The air conditioning is cold. The reception staff and housekeepers took excellent care of us throughout our stay. The bed was soft and the pillows were clean. Check-in was at 2 PM, but we arrived at 1 PM and the staff were so kind; they let us check in immediately since a room was available. Breakfast was provided, offering fried rice, salad, stir-fried basil, fried eggs, fruit, and orange juice. For those who prefer hot dishes, you can order pho, which was absolutely delicious!

AAModernMusafirI stayed at Settha Palace Hotel during my visit to Vientiane, and overall, it was a decent experience with a mix of positives and areas for improvement.
The hotel’s location is definitely one of its biggest strengths. It’s right in the middle of everything, close to the river and within easy reach of the main Songkran celebration areas, which made getting around very convenient.
The property itself has a charming Lao-French colonial style. While it is an older hotel, it has been maintained reasonably well and retains a certain classic character. The staff were excellent, professional, friendly, and always willing to assist, which added positively to the stay.
However, the room was somewhat disappointing. While the minibar was well stocked, basic amenities were missing, not even essentials like a toothbrush or shampoo were provided, which was surprising for a hotel of this category. There were also some maintenance issues: the bathroom had leaking pipes, and the air conditioning wasn’t working initially, though to their credit, they promptly sent a technician to fix it.
The pool area is visually quite pleasant, surrounded by greenery, giving it a relaxing vibe. That said, there were quite a few frogs around the pool, which became a bit irritating. While I personally didn’t mind, some other guests, especially European travelers, were clearly uncomfortable.
Overall, it’s a good property with great location and strong potential, but it could significantly improve with better room maintenance and attention to guest amenities.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of the city center, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. I especially love the spacious room types; the overall layout is grand and airy, completely free from the cramped feeling of typical hotels. Staying for several days doesn't feel stifling at all; the cozy atmosphere makes it feel just as comfortable as being at home. The room is well-sectioned with a separate living room and bedroom, and it even thoughtfully includes a small kitchen. Even if I don't use it daily, it shows that the facilities are very complete and well-equipped, providing a truly excellent living experience.

It's super close to the scenic area, and parking is convenient, making it easy to come and go. Overall, it's a very comfortable stay.
