"The tranquil, expansive lake at the entrance, the quiet village, all conceal a guesthouse meticulously crafted with attention to detail. My room, combined with the view from the terrace, reminded me of the Mediterranean. The room was clean, and all amenities were thoughtfully chosen. Notably, the guesthouse uses spring water; a bath there left my skin smooth and instantly refreshed. I bought some flowers and picked some local florists to borrow vases from the guesthouse for arranging. I also enjoyed tea and wine while appreciating the view. The breakfast was excellent—wontons, steamed buns, tea eggs, and toast were all freshly made by the guesthouse staff. I brought my own coffee to make, and the kitchen was fully equipped. However, the latte from the café next door was also delicious. I also found two teacups I really liked at the guesthouse, as well as some earrings, at very reasonable prices. There's a particularly famous restaurant nearby called Xinghu Yuhu, which is excellent; it's within walking distance or a few minutes' ride by Didi (ride-hailing service). The sweet crepes are a must-try. You can also cycle around the lake to enjoy the scenery. You can take a bath in your room, or relax and read in the coffee shop. This feels like staying in a five-star guesthouse in a scenic area."
