Luxury Hotels in Seoul

"Pros: Located right at Exit 3 of KINTEX Station, making it super convenient for visiting Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang, the waterpark, and Aqua Planet Ilsan. The location is fantastic, surrounded by large commercial complexes and residential areas. Convenience stores, restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and medium-sized supermarkets are all very close by! The hotel is divided into an East Wing and a West Wing; I stayed in the East Wing this time. The service attitude was excellent, and the front desk was very responsive. However... It seems to fall short of a five-star hotel standard. I stayed with my child, and although the hotel's description welcomes children, there were absolutely no amenities for kids – no children's slippers, bathrobes, or even toothbrushes and toothpaste! Compared to many five-star hotels I've stayed at in Tokyo, the attention to detail here is lacking. There's a French pastry shop on the first floor, which closes at 6 PM. On the third floor, there's a gym and a sauna… The room view was decent, and the night view was also beautiful. The TV had YouTube, which kept my child entertained. There's no bathtub, but the shower had excellent water pressure – very comfortable! However, there's a strange feeling of stinginess – just one comb, one shower cap, a small box with cotton swabs, and a tiny bar of soap. That's it. Japanese five-star hotels are usually so generous with amenities; I don't want to compare, but it's hard not to ㅠㅠ. The desk and wardrobe in the room both had some damage and chipped paint. I actually had to switch from the first bathrobe to the second after showering because the first one was so old and thin; the second one was new and in good condition. It really highlights the difference when you compare them. If there were other five-star hotels nearby, I'd probably choose a different one next time. My overall stay felt more like a three-star experience, falling short of a five-star standard."

"A hotel with very clear pros and cons: Pros ❤️ 1. Directly connected to Lotte Department Store, which is incredibly convenient if you're here for duty-free shopping. Rain or shine, it won't affect your shopping and dining plans. 2. The rooms are generally larger than most other hotels in Korea. The off-peak prices are very reasonable. 3. The service is excellent, with warm and enthusiastic staff from the ground floor all the way to the lobby. Cons ❤️ 1. The breakfast is truly unappetizing. There's a limited selection, and it's almost exclusively Western-style. Unless it's complimentary, definitely skip it. 2. It's almost always fully booked. I've stayed here 6 times this year, and only once was I able to check in early at noon. All other times, I had to wait until past 2 PM. If you're arriving on an early flight and hoping to rest, this hotel isn't for you. Most hotels in Gangnam allow check-in by noon."

"The room was really tiny. Whatever you do, don't buy any package deals, like the one for Petite France – it's incredibly far, like an hour and a half to two hours away, and you can't even get a refund. It doesn't really feel like a five-star hotel; more like a four-star. You can walk to Myeongdong in about 20 minutes from the hotel by taking the underground passage straight from Dongdaemun. But I found Korea to be quite run down, with power lines everywhere. Unless you're a big K-pop fan or love concerts, a trip to Korea can be pretty disappointing. "This hotel is perfect for families traveling with children! The room was exceptionally clean, with complete and spotless facilities, and the city view was expansive. The staff were gentle and thoughtful. Lotte World is right outside, making it super convenient for sightseeing. The overall experience exceeded our expectations. It's convenient for travel and incredibly comfortable. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Seoul."

"I specifically chose a hotel that had been renovated in recent years, and while it might not have all the latest tech of newer hotels, the overall experience was excellent! The afternoon tea in the lobby was a wonderful touch, and I was pleasantly surprised by the many antique European furniture pieces and porcelain displayed, which perfectly matched the design aesthetic. The gym was very spacious and even included a sauna and a swimming pool. Breakfast was also quite abundant!"

"I really liked the hotel, its location, and the fact that there was a lot of delicious food and local branded clothing nearby. There was one downside: my iPhone charger went missing. I reported it to the front desk, and the next day, while I was out, they supposedly found the charger under the sofa, even though I hadn't unplugged it from the wall. So, I recommend putting all small items in the safe. Even though it's a minor thing, it left a bad taste in my mouth. 😕"

"The front desk staff spoke excellent English and were very accommodating. They arranged a quiet room away from the elevators for me. The room was spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – not one of those saggy mattresses, which was great for my back. There were coffee capsules and tea bags, and when I asked for extra complimentary bottled water, it was delivered immediately. The hotel has direct access to the COEX mall on the basement level, making it super convenient for meals and coffee. The subway station is also just a short walk to the left of the hotel entrance."
