"Staying with kids was a fantastic experience! The room was super spacious, and the cleanliness was impeccable; the bedding was fresh and odorless. The staff were really friendly and attentive to our little ones. It was also easy to get around and explore nearby attractions. All the toiletries we needed were provided, and the hot water was consistent. We felt so safe and comfortable, and the whole family was very satisfied!"

"A total of five of us, including two children, stayed together, and we were truly satisfied with the accommodation for our family trip. The space was spacious, and the location was excellent, with many restaurants and amenities nearby, making it easy to get around. It was not a burden at all to travel with the children.
Above all, the owner spoke excellent English, making communication easy. They also recommended some great local restaurants, one of which left a particularly strong impression. I liked it even more because it wasn't a restaurant geared towards tourists, but rather one that had an authentic local vibe.
Also, the most memorable part of this trip was the traditional Chinese Tui Na massage I received thanks to the owner's recommendation. I went there trusting the owner's recommendation that it was run by a doctor friend, and it truly exceeded my expectations. It felt less like a simple massage and more like proper medical treatment. Honestly, I would want to come back to Dalian just to get this massage. There were a German and a Russian in the next bed, so we had some small talk; it seems like it is a well-known place.
It was a time where I was satisfied with everything, from the family trip and comfortable accommodation to the special experiences."

JjessicassBecause the competition was in the development zone, we booked a seaside hotel close to the venue. The sea view room has a panoramic view, but it's a bit sunny. The hotel is very close to Tongniuling, and there is a celebrity check-in wall where you can take pictures (if you don't want to walk, you can take a car up there). Above the hotel is a seafood restaurant, and the seafood is delicious. I thought it was very cheap on the first day, but later I went to eat in the city and found that it was still charged at the tourist price, which is not cheap in the local area. The hotel is fully intelligent, with a Xiaozhi system, but it seems that it can only open and close the curtains and turn on and off the TV. It is recommended to upgrade the system. I wanted to let Xiaozhi play some music, but it was stupid and couldn't operate it. Overall, it's not bad. The front desk lady is kind and can help solve problems. Finally, she gave us the hotel's special dried fish, thank you!

JJoshuaLThe (apart)hotel is located steps away from the seaside and 东方水城 with plenty of eateries (but definitely less than what you get if staying at 中山广场 for example - we purposely chose to be close to the seaside here). The staff from bellboy to front desk/ cleaning staff is also eager to please with smiles all around, definitely pleasant interactions.
On the downside, there was a heavy smoke smell at the hallway leading to our unit, and upon confirmation with the staff working at the floor during the time, turns out that the person living next door is smoking 🥲 this smell did creep into our unit over time, which led me to request air purifier and open the windows to improve circulation. Also I need to turn *off* ventilation at the bathroom to prevent smoke smell. Luckily, the situation improved during our stay (so I decided against requesting to change units) since the occurrence of smoke smell became less (perhaps the resident checked out/ decided to smoke less?). Anyhow, this did damper our experience.
Also to note a service suggestion due to the smell I immediately requested a purifier unit, didn’t realize that there’s already one sitting in the unit. I also requested detergent since washing machine is available in the unit, didn’t realize that it’s readily available inside the bathroom. While the receptionist happily agreed to my request when I called to request the items (upon checking into my room), they could have also just informed me where they are located to avoid the redundant request. Also, perhaps the detergent should be placed visibly/ closer to the washing unit instead of being together with toothbrush etc inside the drawer in the bathroom - just a suggestion.
Breakfast offerings while great is also nothing to wow about (one of our main considerations for hotel selection is to look at breakfast pricing listed, which is 198 RMB in this case, which is on the higher end, so we were expecting some kind of a wow factor). Yes, the restaurant is located on the 67th floor offering nice view, but the spread is nothing to rave about - it’s your typical above average breakfast spread with additionally a little seafood selection. During our stay I did come across an offer to purchase breakfast for 108 RMB in one of the platforms, and I think the value is much closer to this rather than 198, so something worth calling out.
So all in all, good hotel with great location/ views/ staff - calling out the smoking issue (more of a people problem rather than hotel’s, but I would wish/ expect that indoor smoking should be non existent for 5-star establishments, which isn’t the case here), and secondarily the breakfast value. The shower issue (lower pressure/ time to heat) from other reviews is also real, but not a big deal for us.

GGuest UserVery nice hotel, best location, subway is very close, park is behind of the hotel, near by so many interesting places, good breakfast, service is good, people at the reception verykind and polite, for free give me upgrade even if i didn’t ask for upgrade, managers is really very good. Recommend hotel to stay. Will be back again for sure, one of the most comfortable hotels in the Dalian city. Recommend to go to the park cable cap and enjoy nice views

DDaria AGreat hotel! The best location! It is located at a very convenient place ( right between XingHai park and Square, super convenient access to public transportation (tram, Metro,bus only 3 minutes away walking). The room is very clean and full of sunshine in the morning, nice seaview. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and would love to stay there again.
P.S.: there were some reviews about deposit. During my stay no deposit was required.

Nearby attractions include Shengya Ocean World and Xinghai Square, and it's easily accessible by public transportation. The rooms are spacious and bright, clean and well-equipped, featuring a 2-meter king-size bed, a 120-inch large-screen projector with good image quality, and a wide-open view from the high floor.

AAnonymous UserAbsolutely fantastic! So comfortable. The location is superb, right next to Xinghai Square, making it easy to walk to the beach and other attractions. The room was clean and cozy, the bedding was comfortable, and it had great lighting and views. The service was attentive and thoughtful, the facilities were comprehensive, and getting around was convenient. It offers excellent value for money. This is definitely my top recommendation for anyone visiting Dalian!

GGuest UserI frequently stay at Orange Hotel, and their service is always excellent! We arrived in Dalian from Yantai by ferry at 6 AM. The front desk staff was incredibly patient and helped us coordinate our room, even upgrading our room type for free so we could check in early and catch up on some much-needed sleep. The room was clean, and the hot water pressure was fantastic for a super comfortable shower and hair wash! Highly recommend!
