"The hotel has a great location, right next to the scenic area's viewpoint. The owner is very welcoming, and the rooms are very clean. The owner will contact you on WeChat beforehand to provide the hotel address and travel tips. They'll pick you up when you arrive at the viewpoint. The second and third floors of the hotel offer the best spots for photography. Aside from the slightly poor soundproofing, everything else is great. It was raining when we left, and the owner noticed we didn't have umbrellas and even provided them for us! The room was very clean, and the bedding was also very clean! The whole house is equipped with Tmall smart home technology, which is great! I would recommend it to my friends!"

"I stayed for three nights, and the location on the observation deck offered a spectacular view. The room facilities were excellent, and the bedding was comfortable. What truly impressed me was the guesthouse's exceptional service. The lobby provided complimentary coffee, tea, desserts, and even a Miao ethnic clothing experience. In the room, we had free fruit and drinks, and laundry service was also available – every detail was well thought out.
Just a heads-up: navigating the Miao Village involves a lot of uphill and downhill stairs, so I recommend packing light. Although the hotel butler helped with luggage from the ticket office, the journey from there to the sightseeing bus, then to the observation deck, and finally to the guesthouse still involves quite a bit of walking and climbing stairs, which can be a bit tiring. Nevertheless, this hotel is highly recommended."

GGuest UserDuring the few days I stayed at the Dongye Hotel, the experience was very good, and I must praise it!
First of all, I have to talk about the service. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the enthusiasm of the staff made me feel warm. The efficiency of checking in was super high, and they also took the initiative to help with luggage and introduce the surrounding travel guide. The thoughtfulness in the details really added points.
I also praise the butler service, which is definitely a highlight of Dongye! The butler always responded to any needs during our stay. In the morning, I wanted to have an extra breakfast delivered to the room, and it was arranged in a few minutes; when I came back at night and found that I forgot to bring the charger, the butler quickly sent the adapted model, and was patient and thoughtful throughout the whole process, like a family, making people feel at ease.
The overall design of the hotel is simple and stylish, and the layout of the public area is very atmospheric. The most popular Internet celebrity beds and Internet celebrity roofs are all available, and you don’t have to go out and spend money to queue up separately.
What I am most satisfied with is the hygiene situation, which I really can’t find any fault with. The bedding in the room is clean and tidy, without any odor, the corners of the bathroom are wiped clean, and even the washbasin is bright and reflective. This kind of control over details makes people feel particularly at ease.
In short, the service and environment of Dongye Hotel are impeccable. I will definitely choose this place next time I come. I strongly recommend it to everyone!

俄俄罗斯美女I'd like to share my impressions of my stay at this hotel. Firstly, the hotel is very new and designer inside. The view of the village is, I'd say, the best in the area. First things first: the hotel offers a butler service, and when you arrive at the attraction, a butler will meet you and take your luggage. You don't have to bother walking to the bus, which is quite a distance, and the entire scenic area is on a mountain, requiring constant climbing. The hotel is also located on a hillside, so getting to it requires a climb up narrow steps. The butler carried my luggage and accompanied me the entire time. The walk from the entrance to the hotel took about 25 minutes, including the bus and the walk.
Upon arrival at the hotel, I was greeted at reception and offered afternoon tea; there were five drinks on the menu. I chose a milk oolong tea with milk, and they offered me fruit, nuts, and homemade cookies. It was delicious. I spent the entire time relaxing, drinking tea, and enjoying the village views. After I'd rested, I went to my room. I was given a room on the 4th floor with the lucky number 888. The room has absolutely everything: excellent Loccitan cosmetics, toiletries, robes, and slippers—everything is of very good quality. There's also a modern hairdryer and steam iron. There was a bath on the balcony, but I didn't use it because it was chilly. The room is really new; it has underfloor heating if you get cold, and also air conditioning. The bed linen, pillows, and blanket were wonderful. I didn't even notice how my night passed; I truly rested for the two nights I stayed at this hotel. The hotel staff explained how I could spend my time and took me to a restaurant where I could have a delicious meal. Then I went for a walk. I spent the entire evening strolling around the village and taking in the sights. That evening, when I returned, I was offered evening soup, which I really enjoyed; it was very unusual. Since I was a foreign tourist, the hotel staff communicated with me using a translator via WeChat, which was very convenient and prevented any misunderstandings. The next morning, I was offered breakfast, which was served on the first floor of the hotel. The dining room was also very beautiful and well-renovated. After breakfast, I went for a walk around the village to take beautiful photos. I had a wonderful time in the village, taking in the sights. I especially enjoyed the local people's show on New Year's Eve, as well as the singing of the women and men of the Miao people. The day before my departure, the hotel staff asked what time my return tickets to Guiyang would be and told me they would arrange for me to be transported to the entrance so I could call a taxi. I would give this hotel the highest rating, firstly because it's in a wonderful location on a mountain with a magnificent view, and literally a three-minute walk from the main observation deck. I would also give the highest rating to the hotel personnel, and especially to the butler his wechat name Velpro, they are all tried their best to help me and accompanied me on all my questions. I would also give the highest rating to the hotel owners, who care about the interior order, cleanliness, and the care of their guests. This level of hospitality is truly rare. If I return to this village, I will definitely stay at this hotel. I recommend it to everyone.

GGrace W_WGetting from the scenic area parking lot into any hotels in Qianhu Miao village can be very challenging. You would need to walk over 600 meters with luggage, queue for a local shuttle, and then walk or climb stairs again to reach whatever hotel you book. As a solo traveler with my young daughter and two suitcases, this initially felt overwhelming when thinking about this idea .
I’m truely glad that I chose to stay with this hotel. Before we arrived, the staff proactively contacted me via WeChat and sent someone to meet us at the ticket checkpoint outside of the village to help with our luggage, and guide us onto the shuttle. This thoughtful assistance made a huge difference.
The hotel’s location was perfect, right next to the viewing platform. After getting off the electric shuttle, it took only one minute walk to reach the lobby. The views from the lobby, rooftop, and room are absolutely stunning. We didn’t need to visit crowded public viewpoints — enjoying the sparkling night view of the Miao village from our room was more than enough.
The Breakfast was generous and delicious, with surprisingly good coffee. A very good sour fish soup restaurant is located nearby. Every single staff member we encountered was warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. They patiently taught my daughter the Miao ethnic batik indigo dye — she loved it so much that she couldn’t stop. On the fifth floor, the hotel also offers a variety of ethnic costumes for photo shoots. Even after checkout, they still helped carry our luggage all the way to the parking lot, which was truly appreciated.
Although our stay was short, we could truly feel the care, attention to detail, and kindness from everyone at the hotel. Staying here felt more like being at home than at a hotel. We will definitely come back again and stay for longer. Strongly recommended!

BBeijinghainanThe hotel was very stylish; every corner offered a picturesque view. The terrace had a much better view than the observation deck, and they even provided free outfits for photoshoots—a very thoughtful touch. Xiaoxing and Changfu shuttled our group of four from the ticket gate back and forth, carrying heavy suitcases up and down stairs—it was exhausting! They also provided us with helpful tips on exploring the ancient village along the way, which was incredibly kind of them. We were very grateful. Furthermore, the breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious, and they even had sweet fermented rice balls in the evening. They also gave us a lovely souvenir before we left, which made us very happy! 🥳

First of all, the service is excellent. After contacting the housekeeper in advance, they will give some arrival suggestions and dining recommendations. They are written in detail and basically answer all questions! After we arrived that day, three little brothers came down the mountain to help us with our luggage (we had 6 suitcases). Thank you very much. It was very hot that day, but they acted super quickly. Thank you very much! ! !
The scenery in the room is really good, and there is also a large viewing platform upstairs in the hotel. You don’t have to go to the scenic viewing platform to squeeze in people. I am super satisfied! At night, we took pictures there and there were lights (I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or every day, it can be said that it’s a huge production)
At night, because we had a lot of people to play cards, the hotel also provided us with a venue in the breakfast room. I was touched and experienced the special rice wine at night. It tasted good! Although we didn't get up for breakfast, they still packed some for us, which was really thoughtful. When we checked out, they also helped us take our luggage down the mountain. It's super close to both the observation deck and Wind-Rain Bridge No. 5, just over a hundred meters away. The room was very clean and had a big balcony with a great view and a hanging chair – it was so relaxing to just lie there and enjoy the scenery. There's also a bathtub in the room, which was perfect for a hot soak after a day of exploring! The photo spots in the lobby on the first floor were also lovely, with options like 'going on the roof to uncover tiles' (a traditional saying/activity, implying a high vantage point) and a scenic bed for photos, plus professional photography services. The staff were also very enthusiastic and helped with our luggage the whole time!

HHuiziyanDecided to visit Guizhou for the Chinese New Year, so I booked this B&B early. The price was great, and all the accommodations on our Guizhou trip were fantastic. This particular B&B has an excellent location; it's just twenty or thirty steps down from the scenic viewpoint in the area. There's also a popular photo spot for travel photography right next to the house. We didn't have to get up too early the next morning, and since no one else was there, we spent half the day taking pictures. We only realized just before leaving that the guesthouse has its own viewpoint with amazing scenery. Our room was clean and tidy, and the view from the window was stunning. The owner was incredibly hospitable, helping us with our luggage, offering tangerines to our child, and even suggesting routes for us. When we came back late after taking photos one evening, I called the owner to ask for an extra pillow. He had just fallen asleep and was woken up, but he wasn't impatient at all. Many say that Qianjiang Miao Village is too commercialized, but exploring it at night, or early in the morning before the crowds arrive, and taking photos in Miao ethnic clothing is still quite enjoyable. GGuest UserI stayed in Xijiang Miao Village for two nights, and I'm so glad I chose this guesthouse. From my bed, I could overlook the stunning spectacle of a thousand households lit up at night. In the morning, opening the window revealed terraced fields and stilt houses shrouded in mist, like a traditional Chinese ink painting. The location is perfect – the surroundings are quiet, yet it's just a short walk to the bustling center of Miao Village. Plus, there's no need to climb stairs with luggage; the host contacted us in advance, guided us, and even helped carry our bags to the room, which was incredibly thoughtful. Watching the thousand-household Miao Village from the balcony at night with a gentle breeze was an absolutely perfect experience! Every little corner of the guesthouse has a great ambiance: the outdoor balcony, rooftop, fire pit, and cafe. The room was clean and cozy, and the housekeeper provided attentive service throughout our stay. In the morning, there was a comforting breakfast, and the hot noodle soup was absolutely delicious!
