GGuest UserThe location of the B&B is very convenient. You can take the 302 tourist line from Shenjiawan Passenger Terminal for 10 yuan per person and get off at Gaochangwan Bus Station. The B&B is under the bus stop. It is also very convenient to transfer to other buses. I came on June 12. The location of this B&B is about 7 minutes' walk from Gaochangwan Bathing Beach (Tianyuewan Resort). The original ticket was 50 yuan. Because I live in this village, the owner of the B&B gave me a ticket. It only costs 30 yuan to enter the beach, and I can also get a wristband. I can enter and exit the beach at will within one day. The limit is one day. I think that except for living in Gaochangwan, other B&Bs must not have this treatment. This beach should belong to this village. This beach is very large and long, with fine sand. You can take a bath when it is hot. It is a sister beach with Jihu Beach behind the B&B mountain, separated by a mountain. The B&B is very new. The owner said that it will be repaired every year to keep it brand new. The decoration style is all related to the sea, very warm and comfortable, the accommodation conditions are impeccable, and the owner's house design has a large terrace on the 4th floor, where you can cool off, drink tea and watch the scenery. In one of the rooms, you can see the sea and the beach by opening the curtains, which is very comfortable. I looked at the B&Bs around, and there are very few with such a large terrace. During the period, I also went to the Donghai Fishing Village mentioned by my friend. There are more people there, but it looks very messy, and the design of the B&B is not very good. The Donghai Fishing Village is lively, and there are many food stalls. If you want to be quiet, Gaochang Bay is really quiet. Also, it is recommended to let the B&B owner cook seafood if you want to eat it, which is affordable. The 700 yuan we ate outside was not as much as the 500 yuan the boss cooked, and it was a bit of a rip-off outside. The boss was very kind and talked to each other. The yard of the B&B and the roof are full of succulents, which are very beautiful. The only regret is that the weather was not good when I came, it was gloomy, foggy and rainy, the sea water was not blue, and there was haze, which was the biggest disappointment. Everything else was very satisfactory.

GGuest UserThe room is really beautiful, with no blind spots and sea view rooms. The whole house is smart. The water curtain flower room restaurant is also very beautiful. You can dine at sunset and make great movies. The dishes are also delicious and the ingredients are fresh. The most noteworthy thing is the service. They are responsive to every request. The child had a fever on the second day and they helped us prepare a fever-reducing patch. They also helped us cook white porridge for dinner. It's so thoughtful. I will choose this restaurant next time I go.

JJimmysandwichesWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel on Gouqi Island. The room offered a beautiful sea view, which made our stay especially relaxing and memorable. The location is also very convenient—just a short walk to a lively food street with plenty of dining options to choose from.
What truly made this experience exceptional, though, was the owner’s kindness and hospitality. When we unfortunately fell ill during our stay, he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. His support during that time meant a lot to us. He also kindly helped arrange transportation, which made everything much easier.
To top it off, we were welcomed with a thoughtful gift at check-in, which was a lovely touch. I really can’t rate this hotel highly enough—both for the facilities and, most importantly, for the genuine care and generosity shown to us.

MMaria13579One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh.
First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle.
The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got.
They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai.
Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure!
Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

SShengsibujueLocated in the Daqingshan Scenic Area, facing Qingsha Beach (you can walk directly from Qingsha to Lisha at low tide), and backed by Daqingshan Mountain, the guesthouse boasts a picturesque setting. The guesthouse has its own large plot of land; after driving through the fence, there's a spacious lawn, followed by multi-story buildings (with elevators) arranged along the road. The lobby is on the first floor, the restaurant on the second, and the sea-view rooms are on the third floor, each with its own terrace offering unobstructed sea views. At night, the gentle white noise of the waves lapping against the shore through the windows makes for a very comfortable sleep. In addition, there's a large public terrace on the third floor with several swimming pools. My Golden Retriever (by the way, it's pet-friendly here) fell into the pool, which was covered by a waterproof sheet and undergoing maintenance – sorry (o__)… The manager said the pool water is changed daily, and since the beach was flooded at high tide, I took the opportunity to play in the pool briefly (absolutely no dogs were allowed in!). The decor is clean and inviting, and there are slow-charging stations, making it convenient to recharge at night. The guesthouse has a restaurant, but since it was a weekday during the off-season, lunch and dinner were limited to seafood noodles and fried rice. Since the seafood noodles were quite delicious, we also had breakfast (breakfast was included in the room rate, and you could also choose a congee set meal). The scenery at Daqingshan Mountain is absolutely stunning! Although the entrance fee is 100 yuan, staying inside the mountain meant the entire scenic area was deserted at night! The whole area was occupied by guests!! It's perfect for people who dislike noise!

OOuaidousenI visit Putuoshan every year, and in the past, I'd usually stay at boutique B&Bs, which are quite expensive. This time, I chose Xilei Baotuo Xingzhe, and its location is fantastic. It's just a few minutes' walk to Puji Temple, and downstairs, there are restaurants like Yuanzhiyuanwei Zhenxuan and Zaozishu, making dining and getting around super convenient. As a Ctrip Diamond member, I got a complimentary room upgrade to the second floor. The room size was standard, and the soundproofing was excellent, perfect for a good rest. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and all the facilities were complete. Housekeeping kept it spotless. The mattress firmness was just right, even my friend, who is usually very picky about beds, was satisfied. Every staff member I met greeted me with a smile, which made me feel very welcome. The shuttle service to and from the station was also very well-executed. I'll definitely stay here again in the future! I especially recommend this hotel to anyone planning to attend morning prayers; it's incredibly convenient.

GGuest UserThe hotel's environment was fantastic: our balcony offered expansive sea views, and the garden was absolutely stunning. A small gate through the garden led straight to the beach. Since it was off-season, it wasn't crowded at all, which made for a very pleasant experience.
The service was excellent; the front desk, bellhops, and cleaning staff were all incredibly friendly.
The facilities were a bit dated, but for the price, the value for money was exceptional.
I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserFor my special vacation to Zhoushan, I chose the Greentown Westin Resort, and my overall stay experience was absolutely top-notch. The hotel's facilities are excellent, with spacious and elegant room layouts. The toiletries are high-quality, and the rooms are fully equipped with everything you need, including lounge chairs and a scenic balcony. There's also a heated swimming pool and leisurely garden walking paths, offering suitable places for adults to relax and children to play.
The hotel's cleanliness is impeccable. Rooms are meticulously cleaned daily, the bedding is soft and spotless, and there's no dust or odor in floor corners or bathrooms. Public areas are also constantly maintained, making for a worry-free and comfortable stay.
The hotel's location is superb, surrounded by lush greenery and exquisite garden landscapes. Step outside and you're greeted by a stunning sea view, with the sea breeze creating a wonderful ambiance. It's a peaceful and pleasant escape from the city hustle and bustle.
I especially want to commend Cara for her incredibly warm and attentive service. She made check-in and check-out super efficient and thoughtfully recommended nearby attractions and dining guides. Her gentle and patient demeanor throughout made us feel very welcome.
The most convenient part is that there's no need to buy extra tickets to Dongsha Beach; you can simply enter with your ID, saving time and hassle.
Overall, from facilities, cleanliness, and environment to service, everything was flawless. It's truly the best choice for a beach vacation in Zhoushan and has already been added to my 'must-revisit' list.

The hotel requires a renovation in the public area and bathrooms (black traces of dampness on the walls, furniture broken, the carpet in public are was also peeling off, which you would not expect to see in a 4 stars hotel. The bedroom itself was renovated and the room itself is pretty big, though.
Cleaning is also to be improved, we had a lot of sand left in the shower from the previous customers.
There is no international breakfast, but the hotel is located close to the Westin (5mn walk) so you can go there.
There is a parking below.
Service is minimum, only one person at the reception desk, and no English-speaking staff.

Because there are elderly people with mobility problems, we were given two rooms at the end of the first floor. I am very grateful, but I didn't expect that the aunts' loud voices and rudeness are really a headache. They chattered until midnight at night and started to chatter again before 5 o'clock in the morning. Someone even knocked on the door and wanted to open the door to enter, but was stopped by her companions. We got up in a daze. The hotel has poor sound insulation. I hope the service staff can remind the uncles and aunts to speak softly and not disturb others. The only choice: moderate location
