The quality of accommodation is a key ingredient in any holiday experience, and Kamandalu Ubud made our Bali holiday a truly positive experience. The resort is located at the outskirts of the city centre, making it not only convenient to travel to the bustling centre but also a retreat from urban areas if you wish to stay in to enjoy the comprehensive amenities such as pools, spas, yoga and restaurants. The daily breakfast is delicious and fresh, with a different variety everyday. The resort is super well maintained, clean and set amidst a beautiful landscape with the sights and sounds of nature bringing you away from the stresses and worries from everyday life. Most importantly, the service is top notch with staff who are carrying a smile always, very attentive to our needs even in the most unexpected situations. It was fantastic. The location is remote and the view is breathtaking. The rooms are beautifully decorated and absolutely clean. We had a villa with a jacuzzi and really enjoyed the view of the bubbling water. The restaurant offers a wide range of delicious options. The juices and cocktails are particularly recommended. We had the BBQ and the floating breakfast. Both were excellent. The food was also very good, especially the fish soup. We had a fantastic time at Elevate Bali and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your hospitality.

A must-stay accomodation in the Bedugul area! This is the fourth or fifth time I am back at Homm Saranam since 2017 and never once did they disappoint. The view is just spectacular from the hotel lobby as well as the room (get the superior or deluxe room at level 1 for the great view of the landscape!) Less than 15 min drive from Ulun Danu Bratan Temple. For those seeking halal food, there is Warung Gemitir located just a short walk away from the hotel. Convenience store is also available within walking distance.

I visited Beji Ubud hotel during the pandemic. However, it turns out to be the best decision I made in 2020. The hotel has 5 swimming pools, the best one is the one that has view of forests and feels like we are swimming above the cliff. When I swim there (5 times in 3 days), there was only me. It does feel like a private swimming pool. If you want to feel at peace, and close to the nature, this is the place you should go to. I'd recommend you go on weekdays and hopefully you'd get the pool for yourself. Trust me and thank me later. The staffs are very kind and informative. The location is near a 24 hour minimart and few restaurants, when you at the gate just go left. You'll find many restaurants and cafe which are very affordable. The room service provides affordable foods like noodles, pasta, burger, rice in case you're too lazy to go out. The room is SO big and not old, if you want a bathtub, they have it too! That was the first thing I did when I arrived. The shower has water heater. The bed is kinda ok, not complaint about it tho. But man, the pools you should try! I love love it.

Went for the infinity pool. I booked for two nights and got free fruits. There were many varieties, which was pretty good. We left early the next morning and communicated with the hotel to help us pack a box of bread and a box of fruit to go out. Enjoyed a rich breakfast on the third morning. I am very satisfied with the room, the environment and facilities are very good. Afternoon tea was originally provided, but I didn't have a chance to drink it since I was out. The hotel staff and front desk service are very good. Get your money's worth.

Our stay at the pool villa at Tanah Gajah resort was nothing short of paradise. The pool villa is the epitome of indulgence. The hot air balloon ride was amazing, you get an Ariel view of the rice fields and surroundings… We definitely will be back to this serene place!

We love the villa silas, the location is in the middle of rice field, so you can see super green area surroundings the hotel, and when the Harvest seasons come, you will see the yellow colors everywhere around the hotel. Staff are nice, simple breakfast but good taste. Room condition was good and clean, I got rooms on the 2nd floor, so I can see the nice of rice filed and local village view from my balcony. Villa comes with nice swimming pool, not too big, but it's enough when you want to enjoy the morning vibes or need to relax after back from exploring ubud. If you driving car by yourself, be careful since the way to this villa quite small and fit for one cars only. Overall, nice villa, and good job team.

This hotel is incredibly situated at the top of the hills in Munduk.
Weather is pleasant at about 20-24 degrees at night when we went in April.
Our room had an outdoor jacuzzi which was so nice to have in the cool weather.
Rooms were clean but the best part about this hotel are the staff.
The staff - especially Dedi and Leo (our personal room butlers) were extremely helpful, kind and nothing was too much trouble for them.

I stayed twice at this beautiful place and had a great time. The location is serene and quiet, with beautiful views and lots of greenery and flowers. I had a villa with my own pool and plenty of space. The entire complex is well taken care of and nestled into the mountain. The staff was exceptional, friendly and very attentive, at the reception, restaurant and the day club. The latter offers a nice vibe and infinity pool, drinks and food. Wahyuda and the others did an amazing job, thanks to all for making my stay very relaxing!

Ffor 3 years in ChinaWe had room Luwih 3. It was exactly as shown in the pictures. The entire complex consists of several villas, some with private pools, some with shared ones. Luwih consists of 3 identical rooms that share 1 pool. Since we were there in the low season, we had it to ourselves.
The complex is VERY extensive, but the WhatsApp chat with the hotel reception works great. You can also organize a shuttle at any time. The staff is very accommodating and always tried to fulfill our wishes. The retreat has 2 very good restaurants with a nice selection of western and Balinese cuisine and cocktails, 2 large pools for general use and a great spa for treatments with infrared, Finnish sauna and cold water plunge pool with an excellent view. There is also fast WiFi practically everywhere on the site.
The only thing I can't say about the various yoga courses - we don't do yoga :)

I visited during Indonesia's rainy season, so if lucky, you could see both sunrise and sunset, but if not, it was all rainy days. During my stay, I experienced various weather conditions, from heavy rain to sunny days. The pool was stunning, offering a view of the nearby peaks on clear days.
The hotel staff was very professional and friendly. The massages at the hotel were even better than the ones I tried in Thailand, and the scenery in the massage area was particularly beautiful.
The floating breakfast not only looked good but also tasted delicious. I scheduled breakfast for 6:30 AM but unfortunately missed the sunrise due to overcast weather.
The hotel provided a 15-minute foot massage and a free terraced rice field tour the next day. Near the hotel, there's Gembleng Waterfall, with a beautiful but slippery terrain during the climb.
It would be better if there was hot water in the sink in the room. There were few outlets in the room, and I had to unplug the bedside lamp to charge my phone. No bottled water in the room was a bit inconvenient. The kettle's cord was short, and the kettle was faulty. Always remember to close the door to prevent insects from entering.
The hotel offered a reasonably priced taxi reservation service; for trips to the city center, it's advisable to book at least 2 hours in advance. If heading to the town center, hotel staff can arrange a motorcycle ride.
The hotel's pricing is friendly, and the staff's service is excellent. Thanks to them, my time in Bali was exceptionally wonderful.
PS: If the hotel's cocktails and restaurant food could be improved, it would be even more perfect.

Ddy1xIt was a great travel experience. I only stayed for three days due to a rushed schedule, but it really made me feel like I didn’t want to leave. Every employee is cheerful and enthusiastic. If you have any questions, they can be solved in time. They can chat with you enthusiastically. You can communicate with every staff member in English without any barriers.
The hotel's rooms are carefully decorated and equipped with complete facilities. The price of more than 2,000 yuan is really a bargain compared to first-tier hotels!
The restaurant is really great! From the presentation to the taste, there is no feeling of being perfunctory at all, and they can enthusiastically recommend dishes to you (they recommended another local wide noodle to us combined with the original pasta, which is really delicious!). The people you interact with the most every day are the restaurant employees. Every one of them is very welcoming and makes you feel like you belong.
The location is also very good, basically in the middle of various attractions. The hotel can provide motorcycle rentals which is very convenient! When you go out and go to the left, you are on the hiking route that is highly recommended on xhs (the end point is karsa cafe).
All in all, it’s really worth it and makes me want to stay there more often in the future!

MMohamed Basir Bin DavoodWe had a lovely stay from the 11th to 14th October. The villa is clean, very well maintained and the service is impeccable. The private pool is of very good size and is set amidst a manicured private garden. The staff listened and attended to all our requests. Buggy and car is available to transport us to the the restaurant just beside the beach or to the neighbourhood to buy some provisions.
The restaurant serves great breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant staff are professional, polite and absolutely amazing with their smiles. Dressed in traditional costumes especially on Thursdays, the look is impeccable.
Will certainly return to Desa Pramana Swan when we return to Bali.

Service-wise, I have to compare apple to apple which is my previous stay in 5 star hotel in Bali central.
I stayed in Pool villa (lower).
Seres, as of July 2022, resort no longer offer any shuttle bus nor activities so I feel quite lack of services too. Service quality as in 5star hotel, english level of staff and some housekeeping details can be improved.
My first impression was really disappointing when I checkin because of this 3 factors
1. I have to wait 1 hrs before checkin 2pm when I arrive in 1hour. Generally many hotels in singapore and bali also allowed me to go in earlier.
2. Even after they take 1hr+ of preparation , both 2 phones in the room were not working. Then I needed go upup to tell them and then it took 30mins to fix. And no lightbulb in my standing light too.
3. Near the bed, many insects body and part of wings left over hear & there. This was really bad but next day improved which means that first day housekeeping was not done well.
Cleaness & Amenities,
Bedding are really dusty so I started blocked throat and coughing once I sit down which never happened to me in my 7days in bali.
Overall, it can be good stay with good experience of pool villa & floating breakfast (you must try if you are in pool villa!)
This hotel, its quite young as 5year old, need many improvements in terms of service & housekeeping if they need long-run.
I paid Sdg$200 per night so I would say 8tar in terms of value-in-price. I will not comeback.

The hotel is right next to the beach. There were a bunch of trimaran boats parked, all chasing dolphins.
I slept until 5:40 and walked directly to the beach to board the boat. It only took a minute's walk, which was very convenient.
The room type is a three-bedroom villa with a Mediterranean style architecture. There is a separate living room and dining room on the first floor. All bedrooms have separate cloakrooms. Each room is very large, and the toilet is even larger.
I stayed in high-end luxury hotels in Nusa Dua and Ubud all the way. I didn't have much expectations for this hotel, but it was quite pleasant to stay there.
The beach bar is very close to the beach, there is a guitar playing and singing performance by a local band, and the sunset is quite beautiful. Breakfast is a good set meal, lunch and dinner are average.
The sand here is very fine, much better than the coarse gravel in Nusa Dua.
It's a pity that it lacks care and there are a lot of impurities such as coral stones and seaweed. It definitely has potential if it can be properly prepared.

AAcquablue123Friend suggested this place. 🤷♀️ Pande the owner gives me a price w/o bfast; over and over bringing up about how she gave me such a great price 🤔. After being there 3 days, I think to take a look online about the place and learn that the published price with bfast is 20% lower. 😳 - My “do not disturb” sign on the door was ignored every time. Privacy is not respected. 😳 **Was told I could use the kitchen for light cooking when I arrived and the woman got very upset with me for wanting to heat something up in the kitchen my 3rd day there. 🤷♀️Her son lunged at me like he wanted to hit me for upsetting his mother; all because I wanted to cook something- as was initially told I could do. Didn’t do it......too much aggravation 😳😳😳 Extra surprises- -They tried to get me to buy my own jug of water- meaning that they didn’t want to supply “theirs” -They were out on the patio in front of my room and woke me up numerous times - At the end, they blocked in my scooter so that I could not leave easily, the day after the kitchen incident. One can only assume that their rationale was that someone who wants to boil some fish must be a thief and will leave without paying 😆 -They were constantly trying to sell items and services. Money money money- seemed to be their mantra. Left earlier than planned- the focus on getting money from my wallet left me with a creepy feeling. There were some positives, Clean, nice view, I liked the ducks in the yard. Better to go elsewhere

GGuest UserGot an antimainstream vacay to Bali this July 2023, too bored to get beaches trip so then we chose to try bobocabin kintamani. Travelled all the way from Legian and we arrived quiet late (at around 8pm). Reaching Kintamani, thick fog welcomed us and we had to get ”up and down” way to the resort. A bit confused to get there at the first time, welcomed by Mr. Arie Radyan and the Ms. Yesi (whose friendly and so strong assisting our belongings 😭 - but we were hesitate). Thank you for the entire staff there, appreciate for the help to bring our ”heboh” luggage and belongings 😅 Super tired but when we arrived at our cabins.... OMG the view was so breathtakingly awesome! They provided some bbq stuffs (we have also bought some beef slices and instant noodles - of course - at town) and enjoyed the scenery up there. Hi-tech, very tidy functioning rooms. Key wasn't provided, we had to use the apps though. All those touch screened buttons (to blur & clear window option, for lamps setting etc) were so WOW. Not kind of morning persons but we woke up early to catch the sunrise moment. It - was - totally - ajhdhjejdhwh (even words can't explain 😭🙏🏻). Having some tea in the morning with view was so legit 🥲 Hope can be back someday 🥰

GGuest UserWe stayed in this guesthouse for a week. We were looking for a quiet place to sleep, far from the chaos of Ubud, the bet is held. It's really isolated, in the middle of the rice fields. The staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly. They are always there for you and if you have a question or request, they will go out of their way to answer it right away. The room is large and very clean. We asked for an upstairs room and got it. The bed is firm but comfortable. The rooms all have a terrace where you can eat, have breakfast or simply relax. The included breakfast is very simple (choice between omelet and pancakes, fruit juice, and fruit), but sufficient. You can pay extra for extras. There is no restaurant or bar in this guest house, so you will either have to go to the hotel not far away or order your food on Grab/Gojek. We opted for this second option, and it went very well, a huge choice, delivery in less than an hour if you order from a restaurant in Ubud. The staff can also take an order and your money and go 2/3 shopping for you for drinks displayed on the minibar. Every day they gave us a bottle of water each for free. The pool is nice and clean. The air conditioning is very efficient, sometimes even too much! It has to be settled. Sometimes we just ended up cutting it off. You won't be hot. Now, the negative points, because a good opinion must also mention the points to improve: Daylight which passes very easily, the curtains are not very glued to the window so from 5 am we began to have light. It's true that we Europeans are used to sleeping in the dark. In the room there was also a pipe noise, quite sharp, when people were using the water, whether it was us or neighbours. I don't know what it is, maybe a pump, pipes... I don't know if the problem is common to all rooms. Since I'm sensitive enough to noise to sleep, I opted for earplugs, problem solved. Count 3 to 5 euros one way to get around town by ordering a ride on Grab/Gojek. We had the reservation at a very good price because booked early and before the lifting of health restrictions, so we will say that we are very satisfied with our choice. I hope they will improve the two points mentioned above because those were the two things that bothered me.
