We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable; the towels were a bit worn but still perfectly clean. The hotel, pool, and all outdoor areas were spotless and beautifully maintained. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Ubud and just a short walk from restaurants, bars, and local markets. Despite being so close to the center, the hotel was peaceful and quiet. From our balcony, we could enjoy a lovely view of the rice fields, which made the stay even more special. We booked a room with breakfast included. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, though there are only two options available, so keep that in mind if you prefer more variety each morning. Overall, the warm hospitality of the staff is what truly made our stay memorable. We would happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ubud.

Second time staying at Three Brothers and happy once again to recommend. Location is excellent in Padma Utara just off Padma Street. Close to the beach (2 minutes) and restaurants and bars. Pool area has plenty of lounges for the size of the hotel, pool bar and the pool itself is clean and crystal clear. Food and drinks at the bar are reasonably priced for a hotel. Breakfast is ok from 7.30am to 10.30am, nothing extravagant but only $7 extra when booking. Rooms are dated and require some renovation but for the price I paid I had no issues with my room, good air conditioner and serviced promptly daily. All in all very happy with my stay and would recommend if you are looking at a very competitively priced hotel in a great location.

I booked this sight unseen. I'm here now and SO impressed. Cleanliness is unbelievable, top notch. The gardens and winding paths thru the gardens are very well cared for, with little tables and seats under some trees invites tiny birds to visit patiently waiting to see if you give them a crumb. Note- the birds do NOT annoy for food! ( although it is a cosy small plot this hotel is on) . Location- it is 500 metere off the main road down a well paved wide lane. No restaurant on site, BUT KEEP READING. The is a wonderful restaurant called Margot 700m walk, plus, you can order from hotel reception from here and Mecca's, and The Village Restaurant too, and the Tropical Hotel staff bring it to your private dining area directly outside your room. There is a mini bar with limited snacks. Lots of variety of drinks ( and cheap) in the refrigerator. But no coffee/ tea making amenities in your room, BUT, KEEP READING, the staff will very quickly bring you FREE cooffee/ and warmed milk in a jug ( as i got 4 coffee's from 1 pot) directly to your private dining area. There is on-site massage & spa facilities ( i paid Rp190,000 for body scrub with massage package, and it was quality!) Whilst you are not right near a swimming beach, or shops ( 40 minutes to walk). It is beautifully peaceful. I paid Rp30.000 for a car to the Sanur Icon shopping centre which Tropical arranged for me... they will arrange gojek & grab too if you ask.) Right near Icon you can pay a 'day rate' at several hotels for their pool including towels and refreshments credits. The pool at some are tight on the beach path, so access fir a beach swim is right there! But staying in their rooms breaks the bank. I can not recommend The Tropical Hotel Bali highly enough. - comfortable beds. - great air-conditioning - refrigerator - so very clean - very cooperative and kind staff- - free book library- -Very helpful staff - room to mind your luggage if you cant check-in early. I am so impressed with this hotel, I have cancelled my last week of accommodation ( with refund) to come back here.

The landlady was very nice. The room was clean, tidy, and odorless, with a pleasant view. The location was excellent, just a few hundred meters from Ubud Palace. Overall, a very satisfying hotel.

For its price, it’s a 10/10. Very convenient and accessible. Mini mart, food shops and even Sanur Beach are all minutes walk away from this place. The staff are so friendly, warm, accommodating, and welcoming. They are very attentive to your needs. It might be old guest house, with minimal tear and wear but it’s properly maintained, not a hindrance to feel comfortable and safe at the same time. Overall, it’s very homey and quiet. I personally recommend this place and love to rebook when I have the opportunity to come back in Bali. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Попросила девочку, которая убирала номера, протереть пол и в моём номере. Она отказалась, сославшись на то, что уборка только раз в три дня и она протрёт пол завтра. Но и завтра никто этого не сделал. Это такая мелочь, которая не требует много времени, но очень сильно портит впечатление о месте. Душевая лейка дырявая и вода разбрызгивается по всему санузлу, так что всё вокруг становится мокрым. Слив не работает. Из хорошего - мини-кухня.

A heavenly place, we got a room with a view of the lake and the volcano. There are fruit trees on the territory, such as mango, avocado, passion fruit and many others) there is also a pool with a hot spring, but for us it was not hot enough) the staff is always responsive, always ready to prompt and advise what and where to see) it is simply a magical place. I recommend it 100%

Gede was so nice and helpful. True MVP. He gave me suggestions and even a ride to somewhere too far to walk! Short walk to Dream Beach (with a good restaurant) and Devil’s Tear. About 20 minute walk to Mushroom Beach with more restaurants and a few ATMs along the way. You can rent a scooter from the hotel. The bungalows are rustic but really pleasant. The AC is strong and there’s a mosquito net for the bed so it’s not a problem that there are some gaps in the walls and door. I liked the open-air bathroom. The shower was nice. The pool is also great. Breakfast was eggs and toast, plus coffee/tea and juice. The outlets weren’t placed super conveniently at the floor if you like to charge your phone at night and see it in bed. The “safety box” thing in the room isn’t actually secure - you can open it with your finger. However, I always felt super safe and wasn’t worried about needing to use it.

A good place if you're looking for something on the budget side. For a small price, you get a spacious room, your own little cottage. There's an electric kettle, mugs, and hot water. Breakfast is brought to your cottage. The best part: an outdoor bath with hot water from a mountain thermal spring. The water is hot and mineral. Taking an evening swim in the fresh air is a pleasure! There's a pleasant green courtyard with well-kept plants. The staff is friendly (only Indonesian, but you can communicate via translator). You can ask them to turn on the bath or bring you something via WhatsApp. The views are stunning! You can see the lake and mountains from the cottage, and even the sunrise! For those writing about flies: yes, they are everywhere around the lake; it has nothing to do with the hotels. But they only appear during the day; they disappear with darkness. The cottages have curtains; if you close them, there won't be any flies in the room. The only thing missing is a clothes hanger to put things and luggage on. We were satisfied! Thank you. The location is a bit into an alley but it is safe and there is car parking too. The rooms are quite spacious and clean. The bed was good and the service was good, but it wasn't comfortable because there was a construction project in front of it so I woke up early in the morning because it was a bit noisy
