GGuest UserSandi in reception was fantastic. He helped to sort out our double booking issues. We were upgraded to a better room and our room was decorated for my 60th birthday 🎂 🥳. All the staff were very friendly and polite. I would love to return to this hotel in the future.

MM58938****This hotel is truly amazing; you could easily spend your whole Bali trip just enjoying the resort. My positive impression of InterContinental definitely started with this stay. Next time I visit, I might try a different hotel, but this one will always be my Plan B. The hotel's ecosystem is also very well-maintained, and they even have squirrels. The only downside is that the street outside the hotel is incredibly busy with too many cars, making it quite dangerous. If you plan to walk to the shops, you need to be extremely careful. It's best to take a taxi if possible. However, Bali's traffic is generally like this unless you stay at a hotel right in a commercial area.

HHWEE YIN ELINEawesome experience at Holiday Inn Nusa Dua! the staff were very friendly and service oriented. They even arranged a small cake and handwritten note to help celebrate our anniversary. it also has a decent beach front with access to neighbouring hotels which was great for a walk along tbe beach. breakfast food (and dinner too) was also great!

GGuest UserThe Hilton Resort Bali is quite simply heaven. There is nothing the staff cant and won't do for guests, and their service attitude is outstanding. The resort itself has many different sides, quiet beach areas, family areas, poolside bars, so no matter what kind of person you are,you can have a wonderful time here.I visited the Executive Lounge Grain, Elara and The Shore across my stay, and the food was beyond amazing. I would not hesitate to come here again.

VVictorAh, ”Gradmas” in Bali! It seems you're likely referring to one of the Grandmas Plus Hotels in Bali, specifically Grandmas Plus Hotel Seminyak or Grandmas Plus Hotel Airport. They are popular budget-friendly options in Bali. To give you a good review, I can summarize what people generally say about them, but if you stayed at a specific Grandmas Plus Hotel, let me know which one (e.g., Seminyak, Airport, Legian), and I can tailor the review even more. Here's a general overview of what people often say about Grandmas Plus Hotels in Bali, combining common feedback: Grandmas Plus Hotels, Bali (General Review) Overall Impression: Generally, Grandmas Plus Hotels are well-regarded as excellent value-for-money options, especially for budget travelers, solo travelers, and those looking for a convenient location. They often receive high ratings for their service and cleanliness. What people like most: * Excellent Location: This is a consistent highlight. * Seminyak: Very close to Seminyak Beach (often cited as a 5-minute walk) and within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars. This makes it ideal for those wanting to explore the vibrant Seminyak area. * Airport: Convenient for early flights or quick stopovers due to its proximity to the airport. * Friendly and Helpful Staff: Many guests praise the staff for being amicable, attentive, and going out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. They often mention the staff's smiles and willingness to help. * Cleanliness: The rooms and common areas are consistently described as sparkling clean and well-maintained. * Value for Money: Guests frequently mention that the price paid for the amenities and location is a great deal. * Breakfast: Often receives positive remarks for being good, and sometimes even offering a ”different gourmet food selection” daily. * Amenities: While generally basic, they offer essential amenities. Some locations have a pool, and many have a connected restaurant/bar. In-house spas are also mentioned as a plus. * Comfort Rooms (after checkout): Some hotels in the chain offer a ”comfort room” which is a nice touch for guests with later flights. What people like least (or areas for improvement): * Room Size: A very common comment is that the rooms can be ”compact,” ”small,” or ”cramped,” especially for families. While well-designed and clean, they might feel a bit tight for some. * Noise: Depending on the room location, street noise, music, or bar noises can be audible, especially in Seminyak, which is a lively area. * Bathroom Ventilation/Issues: Some reviews mention a lack of exhaust fans in bathrooms, or occasional issues like drainage smells or spots on tiles. * Pool Size/Quality: For the Seminyak location, the pool is sometimes described as ”tiny” or ”very poor” and can get crowded. * Limited Amenities: While good for the price, some guests might miss certain features like mini-fridges or electric kettles in the rooms (though free mineral water is usually provided). Would I recommend this hotel? Based on common reviews, yes, I would recommend Grandmas Plus Hotels, especially if you are: * A budget-conscious traveler. * Looking for a hotel with an excellent, central location (Seminyak) or close to the airport. * Prioritizing friendly service and cleanliness over spacious rooms or extensive luxury amenities. * Traveling solo or as a couple (larger groups or families might find rooms a bit small). They are often described as a great base for exploring Bali, offering a comfortable and practical stay without a hefty price tag.

AAmanda MarieStayed here for just 2 night as hadn’t been to the area before and wanted to see what it was like. Beautiful place and gorgeous room and gardens. Clean and very well maintained. Only issues were minor-  anytime we tried to phone for room service or reception you’d have to call 2-3 times before anyone picked up. I think there were 3 or 4 restaurants on the premises but they pretty much all had the same menu and it was nothing to blow your socks off. I had a late night sweet tooth this trip and was very disappointed with the room service deserts. We had cheesecake with no flavour at all and a very tiny brownie that came with a very small scoop of ice cream that I think was sitting on a small piece of bread. I think it was meant to be sponge cake but it looked and tasted like bread. Also had 3 small old strawberries and a smidge of chocolate sauce that was not very nice. The menu said it came with a maracuya sauce (passion fruit) which it didn’t- there was no mention of the strawberries which could be an issue if anyone had an allergy. I ordered iced lattes which were quite nice but a very small glass for the size. I asked for a bit of ice cream to be added and was charged for a whole serve of icecream which made it about $12AU which was double what I’ve payed anywhere else in Bali. I did mention this to staff who deducted the cost of the ice cream which I appreciated. Any Bali hotel we’ve stayed at, you can pop your dirty cups/dishes outside the door and they will be collected. Ours sat there for 24 hours even when we had staff come to the room to deliver room service. Travelled with a smoker and while you couldn’t smoke at the pool bar you were allowed to smoke on balconies and around the pool. Asked at the pool bar for an ashtray who didn’t have any and told us to go to the towel bar who didn’t have any and didn’t know where you could get one. Was then directed to a different area to ask and they gave us a plate to use. I saw people putting their cigarettes in the garden and spare bottles as there were no ashtrays available. We gave up asking for one for use on our balcony. Beautiful grounds and if smoking is allowed they should provide what’s needed or some people may just throw them on the floor which would be disappointing. If relaxing by the beach you had to walk back to the pool bar to get a drink which was a pain.  Our room had very good aircon, was very spacious and beautiful and had comfy beds. Probably the best maintained room I’ve stayed at in Bali. A good amount of PowerPoints and it was the first Bali resort I’ve stayed at that had adequate power points that our plugs didn’t keep slipping out of. I did request twin beds and to be close to the pool which other hotels didn’t even try to accommodate but Sol by Melia provided this immediately. A few families there with small children and while the resort was kid friendly to an extent, it’s maybe not the ideal place for small children. Many people trying to read by the pool and relax with small kids yelling and crying. I didn’t see any obvious play area for kids, nothing significant anyway. There’s one pool with one shallow area for kids but it’s just a little kid pool which meant they were not very entertained and were getting frustrated. If ours were still little we’d probably go somewhere tailored to kids. All in all a good stay but we did get a good deal on the room. $165AU a night with Trip.com which was significantly less than some booking sites and still cheaper than booking direct. It was nice but I wouldn’t pay the regular rate. Would I recommend- yes I think I would. Just the room alone was worth it and we had the most basic room which was very large

GGuest UserA very disappointing stay at this hotel. Issues started at check in and continued throughout our stay . Our family booked 5 rooms at the Alam KUL KUL and we all had issues with facilities and getting any action taken to address them . To start we visited the hotel in mid November 2023 to enquire about late checkout when we stayed in February 2024. The hotel reception were very pleasant in November and guaranteed that late checkout was easy and it was a great rate of 550.000 . The reception staff said that they had added the late checkout to our booking. When we arrived in February everything was different. First the reception staff questioned that we had visited in November and that we did not have late checkout added to our booking. They insisted that we name the hotel staff who we had spoken with in November. After much discussion we had the late checkout added but staff were less than friendly. Then they insisted we pay the extra money straight away. We said no problem but then my wife’s wise card wouldn’t work in their payment machine and staff kept insisting that the wrong pin was being entered. My wife had been using the card for the last 7 days in Bali with no issues. So I then gave them my wise card and was surprised when it wouldn’t work in their machine either. I also had been using my card daily in Bali with no issues. After much further discussion with hotel reception they said that we could pay at check out. We had already pre paid for all 5 rooms prior to this. On the day of checkout I received a request to contact reception as they had no records of us asking for late checkout. During several WhatsApp messages from reception they said that we had refused to pay for the late checkout and that we had stated that we would get it free. I was absolutely disappointed to receive these messages and we had never stated anything about free late checkout. The reception staff continued sending messages that were completely false statements. In reflection I think that the staff were trying to cover up the poor service lack of professionalism that they lacked. This were only a few of the small issues that arose during our stay . Our daughter and family had a mouse running around their room and it took staff 3 days to come and look at the room. There was never any offer to change rooms. Another family group had their air conditioning not working and it took 3 days for the hotel to address that issue . My wife ordered drinks during happy hour at the garden pool and when the bill came they wanted to charge full price and their staff stated that my wife had ordered room service! She was locked out of our room at the time because the electronic key kept failing. On 3 separate occasions I asked to speak with the hotel manager to see if we could get better communication and service. Unfortunately the manager was always unavailable, so can only assume that is where the problem starts . Too important or don’t care about hotel guests. Most of the hotels staff were extremely friendly and welcoming especially the restaurant staff. The Alam is a very old property in a very good location. The rooms have been renovated and beds are comfortable. After visiting Bali about 16 times and staying in many different hotels and villas this was our most disappointing stay in Bali. It’s a shame that the small issues kept coming and that the hotel were either trying to cover up or complacent about.

AAnonymous UserStaying here was a real retreat. The room which has pool access we booked was clean, spacious, intimate bcs there only a few room. Our room was very close to the dining gazebo where there were some plugs so we could working with our laptop with a sight of ricefields. the bathroom has a good warm water shower. I love when the morning sun can penetrate to the room. Nasi goreng and Mie goreng for breakfast are quite tasty. - But sometimes you can hear a gecko at night and unfortunately during our 2n3d stay, there were no one clean and make up our room. Also tissue and water didn't get refilled.
