"Bvlgari, a must-stay hotel when visiting Bali! I received a greeting email from Bvlgari even before check-in and requested late check-out and hotel activities. The welcome drink at the hotel was delicious. Our butler, Erik, was fantastic! When we arrived, our two-bedroom villa wasn't ready yet, so he arranged a very interesting painting activity at the hotel. The hotel's scenery is absolutely stunning, perched on a cliff – small, yet exquisite. The architecture of the SPA building is particularly intriguing. Our butler gave us a tour of the hotel. The villa was superb, already prepared with welcome fruits and cake. The complimentary laundry service was a huge plus! You absolutely must try the hotel's purification ritual, it's very local. Another great activity was the guided tour of the nearby town. The in-villa breakfast in the morning offered many choices, and you could even arrange for in-villa yoga before breakfast 🧘‍♀️. Dinner at the restaurant was a bit pricey but offered great views. There was also a fun cake-making activity. The pool in front of the restaurant and the 'Sky Mirror' were both perfect for photos. The turndown service included warm tea and a luggage tag perfume, very thoughtful. The service was impeccable. I will definitely choose Bvlgari again on my next trip to Bali."

"Facilities: This luxury jungle retreat in Ubud truly feels like a secluded paradise. It's exceptionally clean and comfortable, while beautifully preserving the unique charm of the local tropical rainforest. Cleanliness: Spotless and impeccable, significantly cleaner than other hotels we've experienced. Service: The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive to detail. We had a very late arrival due to delays that day, and they generously offered complimentary Mie Goreng and grilled prawns. They also proactively arranged a late check-out for us without us even asking. Ambiance: Nestled in a rice paddy valley along the Ayung River, it's quintessentially Ubud. The interior decor also tastefully incorporates local religious motifs."

Hotel near Ubud,Bali
Inspired by a traditional village Amandari is framed by jungle and rice terraces in Balis cultural heartland. Alang-alang-thatched houses some with pools - all with private tropical gardens - cosset guests under bamboo ceilings their suites elegantly decorated with teak and coconut-wood. The grounds are both sacred and essential to local families; children attend dance classes here and religious processions pass through regularly leading down the steps that spill below Amandari to a 7th-century stone tiger - a motif repeated throughout the property. Follow the road out of the village to hike or bike the emerald-green landscape or head further afield for artisan villages - hidden temples and the palaces and boutiques of Ubud. Overlooking a tranquil lily pond the Spas offerings range from massages and manicures to traditional Balinese treatments. Both Indonesian and Western dishes are specialities at the open-air Restaurant or dine intimately in the rainforest with a private chef. Set amid aromatic frangipani trees and the enveloping warmth of a Balinese village Amandari is perfectly suited to special occasions of all kinds.

"The service was impeccable, the environment was nice, the breakfast was good, and the tuberose in the room smelled wonderful before bed. Aside from the small gifts being somewhat disappointing, everything else was quite comfortable."

Imbued with a sense of space and serenity each occasion is joyfully and gracefully choreographed.

"1. Lot: There is a 3-5 minute distance from the beach. The hotel can send a car to the hotel's exclusive beach club at any time. Very convenient, when I arrived at the club, some staff took ice water and ice towels to the tanning pavilion where the beach towels were laid, as well as mosquito repellent and sunscreen. The hotel is in the mountains, the scenery is very good, in the lobby and restaurant can view the scenery under the mountain. 2, design: Australian designers 25 years ago, today's works are still so elegant, temperament! 3, facilities: the pool is large, there is an all-day restaurant, a good library. I can’t see it completely 25 years ago, and it’s managed quite well! 4, service: Amman, these two words explain everything, no more multilingual! 5, value-added: I don't know the relationship between spring break, one day free charter service, and free shuttle service, solve many problems, very good value-added service experience! After staying for 3 days and 2 nights, it is regrettable that the driver who sent the plane on the last day learned that the landlord will be closed at the end of February 2018 because the landlord will not renew his contract. Very sad! But also very fortunate, AMANNUSA was chosen in the last hotel in Bali. Forever Amman! I hope that 150 employees in the hotel will be well!"

GGuest UserThe resort is truly magnificent and offers everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Upgrading to the Palace was absolutely worth it — the additional services and amenities made a real difference, and we made full use of them. What truly sets this place apart is the staff. They are exceptionally friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. Their warm hospitality really elevated our experience. There are multiple pools to choose from, each offering a different atmosphere, and the spa is on another level — beautifully run with highly professional therapists. It was a highlight of our stay. Breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes, and we enjoyed it every morning. Overall, this is a highly recommended resort, and we would be very happy to return. Well done to the entire Ayodya team!

1121728****The room was exactly as pictured and described. The breakfast wasn't great; there was no congee with noodles, only plain congee, milk, bread, and coffee (which was decent when made fresh). The 'Seafood Carnival' was a disappointment. 🤔 It wasn't as good as the first convenience store to the left across from the hotel. That place has a huge seafood platter for just over 300, and it's incredibly fresh. The lobster and tiger prawns with garlic butter sauce are especially worth trying there. The hotel's seafood tasted like it had been frozen and wasn't very fresh, though the live music and atmosphere were a plus. The seafood platter shown in the picture is not from the hotel. What truly stands out is the fantastic service and warm smiles from every single staff member. They genuinely care, and I would definitely come back again.

SSaeid GhA beautiful beachfront hotel with an outdoor swimming pool that’s slightly heated, so you can even enjoy a swim at midnight. They have six restaurants on site, so there’s always something for everyone, no matter how picky you are. The buffet breakfast is extensive and excellent, and the staff are friendly and create a really positive vibe. The only downside is that food and drinks are quite overpriced — for example, a 220ml Coke was 70,000 IDR.

AAmanda MarieStayed here for just 2 night as hadn’t been to the area before and wanted to see what it was like. Beautiful place and gorgeous room and gardens. Clean and very well maintained. Only issues were minor-  anytime we tried to phone for room service or reception you’d have to call 2-3 times before anyone picked up. I think there were 3 or 4 restaurants on the premises but they pretty much all had the same menu and it was nothing to blow your socks off. I had a late night sweet tooth this trip and was very disappointed with the room service deserts. We had cheesecake with no flavour at all and a very tiny brownie that came with a very small scoop of ice cream that I think was sitting on a small piece of bread. I think it was meant to be sponge cake but it looked and tasted like bread. Also had 3 small old strawberries and a smidge of chocolate sauce that was not very nice. The menu said it came with a maracuya sauce (passion fruit) which it didn’t- there was no mention of the strawberries which could be an issue if anyone had an allergy. I ordered iced lattes which were quite nice but a very small glass for the size. I asked for a bit of ice cream to be added and was charged for a whole serve of icecream which made it about $12AU which was double what I’ve payed anywhere else in Bali. I did mention this to staff who deducted the cost of the ice cream which I appreciated. Any Bali hotel we’ve stayed at, you can pop your dirty cups/dishes outside the door and they will be collected. Ours sat there for 24 hours even when we had staff come to the room to deliver room service. Travelled with a smoker and while you couldn’t smoke at the pool bar you were allowed to smoke on balconies and around the pool. Asked at the pool bar for an ashtray who didn’t have any and told us to go to the towel bar who didn’t have any and didn’t know where you could get one. Was then directed to a different area to ask and they gave us a plate to use. I saw people putting their cigarettes in the garden and spare bottles as there were no ashtrays available. We gave up asking for one for use on our balcony. Beautiful grounds and if smoking is allowed they should provide what’s needed or some people may just throw them on the floor which would be disappointing. If relaxing by the beach you had to walk back to the pool bar to get a drink which was a pain.  Our room had very good aircon, was very spacious and beautiful and had comfy beds. Probably the best maintained room I’ve stayed at in Bali. A good amount of PowerPoints and it was the first Bali resort I’ve stayed at that had adequate power points that our plugs didn’t keep slipping out of. I did request twin beds and to be close to the pool which other hotels didn’t even try to accommodate but Sol by Melia provided this immediately. A few families there with small children and while the resort was kid friendly to an extent, it’s maybe not the ideal place for small children. Many people trying to read by the pool and relax with small kids yelling and crying. I didn’t see any obvious play area for kids, nothing significant anyway. There’s one pool with one shallow area for kids but it’s just a little kid pool which meant they were not very entertained and were getting frustrated. If ours were still little we’d probably go somewhere tailored to kids. All in all a good stay but we did get a good deal on the room. $165AU a night with Trip.com which was significantly less than some booking sites and still cheaper than booking direct. It was nice but I wouldn’t pay the regular rate. Would I recommend- yes I think I would. Just the room alone was worth it and we had the most basic room which was very large

GGuest UserThe 100 Sunset Hotel in Kuta has impressed us time and again during our stays over seven weeks. We stayed there four times in total and felt warmly welcomed every time. The extremely friendly and attentive staff deserves special mention, always striving to meet our needs and make our stay as pleasant as possible. The location of the hotel is ideal—central yet quiet. You can quickly reach the main attractions in Kuta while enjoying a peaceful retreat. The pool area is another highlight, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The 100 Sunset Hotel is definitely a place we are happy to return to. We highly recommend it and look forward to our next stay!

VVictorAh, ”Gradmas” in Bali! It seems you're likely referring to one of the Grandmas Plus Hotels in Bali, specifically Grandmas Plus Hotel Seminyak or Grandmas Plus Hotel Airport. They are popular budget-friendly options in Bali. To give you a good review, I can summarize what people generally say about them, but if you stayed at a specific Grandmas Plus Hotel, let me know which one (e.g., Seminyak, Airport, Legian), and I can tailor the review even more. Here's a general overview of what people often say about Grandmas Plus Hotels in Bali, combining common feedback: Grandmas Plus Hotels, Bali (General Review) Overall Impression: Generally, Grandmas Plus Hotels are well-regarded as excellent value-for-money options, especially for budget travelers, solo travelers, and those looking for a convenient location. They often receive high ratings for their service and cleanliness. What people like most: * Excellent Location: This is a consistent highlight. * Seminyak: Very close to Seminyak Beach (often cited as a 5-minute walk) and within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars. This makes it ideal for those wanting to explore the vibrant Seminyak area. * Airport: Convenient for early flights or quick stopovers due to its proximity to the airport. * Friendly and Helpful Staff: Many guests praise the staff for being amicable, attentive, and going out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. They often mention the staff's smiles and willingness to help. * Cleanliness: The rooms and common areas are consistently described as sparkling clean and well-maintained. * Value for Money: Guests frequently mention that the price paid for the amenities and location is a great deal. * Breakfast: Often receives positive remarks for being good, and sometimes even offering a ”different gourmet food selection” daily. * Amenities: While generally basic, they offer essential amenities. Some locations have a pool, and many have a connected restaurant/bar. In-house spas are also mentioned as a plus. * Comfort Rooms (after checkout): Some hotels in the chain offer a ”comfort room” which is a nice touch for guests with later flights. What people like least (or areas for improvement): * Room Size: A very common comment is that the rooms can be ”compact,” ”small,” or ”cramped,” especially for families. While well-designed and clean, they might feel a bit tight for some. * Noise: Depending on the room location, street noise, music, or bar noises can be audible, especially in Seminyak, which is a lively area. * Bathroom Ventilation/Issues: Some reviews mention a lack of exhaust fans in bathrooms, or occasional issues like drainage smells or spots on tiles. * Pool Size/Quality: For the Seminyak location, the pool is sometimes described as ”tiny” or ”very poor” and can get crowded. * Limited Amenities: While good for the price, some guests might miss certain features like mini-fridges or electric kettles in the rooms (though free mineral water is usually provided). Would I recommend this hotel? Based on common reviews, yes, I would recommend Grandmas Plus Hotels, especially if you are: * A budget-conscious traveler. * Looking for a hotel with an excellent, central location (Seminyak) or close to the airport. * Prioritizing friendly service and cleanliness over spacious rooms or extensive luxury amenities. * Traveling solo or as a couple (larger groups or families might find rooms a bit small). They are often described as a great base for exploring Bali, offering a comfortable and practical stay without a hefty price tag.

AAnonymous UserCheck in was smooth. Staffs were friendly. Hotel is huge, they have 3 blocks. I got the far end of the block which was a little bit away from the reception and the restaurants and the open space for smoking. In 2 circumstances, i walked up to the room and the door card could not work. This happened in 2 different nights. I had to walk down and got it reset, but the staffs didnt bother to apologise for this. The first time it happened I was okay, but the second time it happened, I got pissed off, because it was a long walk from the room to the reception. If you order food delivery, it will be a long walk to take your food at the reception. If you got the rooms at the reception level, I'm sure it will be a great experience like the first time I was there in the Junior Suite, but this time it was not as pleasant. Thumbs up though for the housekeeping, as the found out I had many shirts lying on the sofa, they brought a small clothes rack and hung my shirts.
