Bed and Breakfasts in Bali

We had an absolute dream of a stay! We booked a room specifically for one night to watch the Perseid meteor shower, and Pinggan Village turned out to be the ultimate spot for it. We spent the first half of the night stargazing comfortably in the outdoor chairs. Later, we moved into the outdoor hot tub—soaking in warm water while watching shooting stars race across the night sky was a truly unforgettable experience. As someone who has lived in Bali for four years and visited countless places in Kintamani, I have to highlight something rare: actual endless hot water. Almost every other hotel in the area with a hot tub runs out of hot water instantly because of small boilers, leaving you with barely enough to dip your feet. This is the first place that clearly has a massive water heating system installed, allowing us to fill the entire hot tub with steaming hot water. They truly deliver on their promise. This is an exclusive, top-tier experience for Kintamani. We are so grateful for our time here and will definitely be back!

Gelatik is great, I always stay here when I pass through south Bali. Can't beat it for the price! It's clean, comfy and well located, with very friendly staff! I would advise against storing your bag long-term in their storage room tho.

The hotel liked it, but on the first night I was tempted by some small beetles and they were very much right in the bed, on the second one connected some device and this problem was eliminated

This place is amazing. This was our second time staying here. It's a family-run business, and you feel like you're visiting family. We asked in advance for breakfast to be prepared at a different time, and the hostess did her best to make it at our convenience. The grounds are green. The rooms on the first floor are a bit more comfortable, but the second floor is more private. We asked for noodle dishes, but the hostess basically let us cook for ourselves in their private kitchen. Very nice people.

A cozy, quiet spot. It's a detached cabin with two beds. The mini-bar with soft drinks is free, which was a nice surprise, even though we weren't really interested in them – but the gesture itself was appreciated! The street where the accommodation is located has many restaurants, and there's a minimart and pharmacy about 20 meters away, with a laundry service just around the corner. Breakfast isn't for gourmets, though. Also, there's effectively no dedicated parking for cars. We did manage to park our car there and squeeze in with the motorbikes, and thankfully didn't bother anyone. This is just a heads-up for travelers that Ubud center isn't very car-friendly.

Excellent place. Quite pleasant overall. The room was generally clean and tidy. The pool is clean, the grounds are green, there are two communal kitchens, a water cooler, and a decent gym. The breakfasts are delicious (you order daily for the next day). The staff are friendly and welcoming. The location isn't the absolute best from a purely tourist perspective, but within walking distance (5-10 minutes) there are shops and a few warungs. Jimbaran beach is a 10-minute taxi ride away. The main drawback is the very rough road nearby, which makes traffic incredibly slow. Overall, I enjoyed everything and would be happy to stay here again.

Choosing to stay on the lakeshore for a Batur volcano trip in the early morning was a bit of a regret, as it's a completely rural area. Convenience stores and restaurants are far away, and the food at the cabin's restaurant was small and overly salty. It's impossible to call Gojek or Grab here. You can rent motorbikes from the villa, but you have to fill them up yourself. Many nearby grocery stores and gas stations were closed, and when we finally found one, the gas was ridiculously expensive per liter, very inconvenient… Furthermore, the cabin was swarming with flies, densely packed. There's no AC, so opening the door releases a swarm of flies, and with no windows, it's stuffy and humid. Wood chips and gecko droppings kept falling from the ceiling, making me itchy all over. Aside from the inadequate facilities, the staff were quite nice and willing to help, and the cabin had a hot spring bath. I highly recommend this place to people who value sleep quality.

There are many good hotels in uluwatu and this is not one of them. For the price, there are many other better alternatives. I booked a family room for 2 days but the place was overbooked and we had to get a 1 bed plus an extra bed. In my 2 day stay here, the water supply was cut twice for a solid 5 hours, there was no water. There also is no reception phone to call and only a WhatsApp number managed by one person, if that person is not there, well, you'll have to find someone physically. Other than that the loud noises from the bar nearby, the passing traffic and the screeching from the wind being blown in from the loosely fitted windows made it hard to sleep at night. Pros: New, close to road, strong WiFi. Cons: Lacking services, broken fridge, mosquitos,loud sounds, water supply cut off, overbooked, sheets were slightly stained.

We enjoyed the pool and breakfast. The staff were friendly. But the construction in front of the stay was going on so it was a bit noisy but they would stop working when we passed by so i feel appreciate for that. The location was great. If i get there again i would consider staying again. It means i am not sure about it haha. Anyway the air-condition was fantastic!

The place a little off the main street but still reachable by car, even though no designated car park available only for motorbikes. The room is spacious, AC is working fine. Shower is semi outdoor and they provide basic amenities. The share kitchen is outside near the entrance, pretty complete utilities. There is no reception desk but they left a phone number for you to call the villa staff. The staff are friendly and helpful. Good place for a weekend gate away. Nearby you can get dinner or lunch at Mojos Burger.
