"The hardware is top-notch. The hotel hasn't been open long, so everything is brand new. It's equipped with Tmall Genie for smart control and smart toilets, really emphasizing the high-tech aspect. The front desk lady even upgraded me to a larger suite for free, which had a huge bathtub – though I didn't get to use it. The screen-mirroring TV felt just like being in a movie theater. The staff's service attitude was absolutely outstanding. Because the parking lot is a bit of a distance from the hotel, when I went to Xiangong Mountain to watch the sunrise at 4:30 AM, a young man from the front desk personally took me to my car. Later, when I went rafting, the front desk staff used a shuttle cart to pick me up and drop me off. What's more, all the staff – from the front desk to the restaurant to housekeeping – would greet me with a ”hello” or ”good morning” whenever we met, which was very polite and a rare find in China, earning a big thumbs up. Other hotel staff should really take a leaf out of From Time Slow's book. Overall, I was very satisfied. The breakfast was also rich, clean, hygienic, and offered a wide variety of choices. The value for money at From Time Slow is truly exceptional!"

"I originally booked for one night, but I was so pleasantly surprised that I ended up staying for four nights and still didn't want to leave. Every morning, I'd wake up naturally to the beautiful scenery right outside my window – it was absolutely delightful. The hotel is brand new, and every corner looks like a picture, showing just how much effort the owner put into it. Every staff member I met was incredibly enthusiastic. I even switched rooms midway through to experience a different view, and both experiences were great: spacious rooms, large bathtubs, and fantastic views. I had a bowl of rice noodles almost every day in Guangxi, but the best ones were surprisingly made by the auntie at the hotel's free breakfast! I'll definitely be back here next time."

"This hotel is in a great location, less than a ten-minute walk from Xingping Ancient Town. The famous 20 RMB scenic spot is right nearby. The owner clearly puts a lot of effort into managing this hotel; they're incredibly helpful with recommending various attractions and giving tips, and can even arrange show tickets. Electric bikes are available for rent. The rooms feature smart home controls and electric curtains, and the bedding is spotless, with disposable bath and hand towels provided. The rooftop is a real highlight; you can genuinely capture stars at night. I was lucky enough to photograph the Big Dipper! I'd suggest the owner spruce up the rooftop a bit more and add a telescope, but definitely keep the lighting minimal. Oh, and I'd recommend a more varied breakfast, perhaps some steamed buns. Selling coffee in the lobby downstairs would also be a nice touch. The ancient town itself feels quite commercialized, but the post office is worth a visit. Cycling through the Yangshuo Ten-Mile Gallery is very pleasant. I wouldn't recommend those 'influencer' spots like the rice paddies or certain cafes; they're a waste of time, crowded with people and vehicles, and offer a really poor experience. Overall, it's a great hotel, and the owner didn't even push for a good review. I hope the road nearby gets fixed soon; that would definitely make the experience even better for everyone!"

The parking lot is also very convenient, with charging stations in the back that charge quickly. The location is great, very close to West Street, and they even gifted us osmanthus cakes."

Pre-book your airport/train transfer with the bike rent area, I saw many guess order online Taxi cannot get the car or cancel by the driver."

"The hotel is located in the mountains, and the upside is that opening the window to a mountain view is very healing. However, the downside is that transportation is quite inconvenient. It's about 3 kilometers to town for meals, and you either have to take a taxi or rent an electric scooter for 30 yuan a day. The breakfast at this price point was the worst I've ever had – pitifully few options, not even any meat... The sliced bread didn't even come with butter... And the coffee was terrible (they claimed to offer various coffees all day, but in the afternoon there was no milk, so essentially only Americano was available 😅). It's worse than an economy hotel like Home Inn, what a mess! 😓 The butler service via WeChat was decent, but the housekeeping... On the first day, they completely missed cleaning the room, even though we had requested it. What's even crazier is that I saw staff enter the room before we left, and it turned out to be maintenance changing a socket (why wasn't this done before check-in, and without any heads-up? 😅)."

"Traveling with my parents, we booked two rooms. During the off-season, this place was truly excellent value for money. It was bright, clean, and tidy – really super comfortable. The shower was great, and the smart toilet had a heated seat. They offered both latex pillows and regular soft pillows, and the bed was on the firmer side (but not uncomfortably hard), so I slept really well. Breakfast was decent; they had freshly made, improved (non-stinky) rice noodles which were especially delicious. The front desk is open 24/7, and all the staff were very friendly. The hotel front desk also helped us book a private car service. The driver was a really nice guy, witty and humorous. He drove us around several scenic spots for half a day, and whenever we left an attraction, the car was immediately there for us. We could stop whenever we wanted to rest by the roadside and take photos. The experience was top-notch! 👍"

"It was off-season, so there weren't many people, and it was quiet at night, which was great for sleeping. However, after new guests checked into the room next door the next day, I could clearly hear noise, so the soundproofing isn't very good. Everything else was fine. My room faced west, so it got very hot and bright in the afternoon. The bathroom was outside the toilet area, and water easily splashed onto the floor, making it very slippery. That was a bit of a downside. There were lots of BBQ places nearby at night, and the food was decent."

"This is the best value-for-money hotel I've stayed at in Lingnan, including several visits to Yangshuo itself. Even hotels with better views costing over a thousand yuan a night don't match their service. Their service alone is worth 500 yuan, but during the off-season, it was only a little over 200. The breakfast was delicious; I had two braised eggs and a bowl of noodles, and there was even juice available, but I was too full to have any more. Facilities: Highly automated, with a private hot tub. I didn't use it. Cleanliness: Good, 4.2 out of 5. Service: A perfect 5 out of 5, though I'd give it 4.7 to leave some room for improvement. If it weren't for the 12 PM checkout, I would have stayed until then, but I thought about the cleaning staff needing to prepare the room, so I left at 11 AM, reluctantly. They even gave me a farewell gift. Thanks! It was my third time riding an electric scooter in Guangxi, and it was amazing. With 28-degree weather, I rode 60 kilometers in one day. I originally planned to check out the Ten-Mile Gallery branch, but my friends booked a place nearby. I'll definitely go next time. 24H Butler Service: This hotel genuinely offers excellent service."
