New Hotels in Istanbul

"I stayed for a week and had no issues whatsoever. The staff, both at the front desk and housekeeping, were polite and friendly. The room was also perfectly clean. Many of Istanbul's famous tourist spots, like Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sophia around Sultanahmet, Dolmabahçe Palace, and the area from Taksim Square to Galata Tower, are all reachable within about thirty minutes on foot (though be warned, there are some challenging uphill climbs). Access points for trams and ferries are also nearby. Plus, the streets to the east and west of the hotel are lined with various restaurants, and there's even a convenience store attached to a gas station. All in all, it made for a really great trip."

"This hotel, apparently a converted church, has a lot of character. Its location is super convenient, close to Istiklal Avenue and the Taksim metro. The breakfast is pretty standard but better than what I had in Fethiye. The service is warm and attentive. There's a cafe downstairs that's great for photos. The rooms are spacious, the AC works well, and the facilities are complete. The light switches are quite unique; my husband thinks they might be an older installation and not very modern. It's a new hotel so it's not crowded yet, but it probably will be soon. I wonder if I'll get the chance to visit Turkey again."

"New hotel, location excellent. Staff responsive and always help. For breakfast there is a variety. Location excellent- stop by tram Laleli University in 5 minutes walk, subway m2 in 10 minutes. Next to it is a microscope jet (mini magnet). Sultan Ahmet is 5 minutes on the tram and Istiklial 2 stops on the subway to Shishkan. Renovation is fresh, pillows are slightly solid. Noise isolation is good. The adjacent door with the hotel shop (alike magnet cosmetics and girlfriend) and a nearby pharmacy. Pharmacies work with 9-19( took Sbp and Russian-speaking were in the pharmacy). Thanks to the hotel staff for a good rest."

"The hotel is very close to the airport. Very lovely and affordable traditional restaurants nearby. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The room was very spacious with an amazing kingsize bed. The only thing that could be improved is to add a chair and a small table in the room perhaps there would be plenty of space."

"We liked the hotel. Its location is a bit further out than many other hotels, but that means you can sleep peacefully at night without being disturbed by tourists. The breakfast is portioned and not very large, but it's prepared individually for each guest when they come down. This avoids eating the same product in different dishes for several days, as often happens with buffet breakfasts. The rooms are quite spacious for Istanbul. However, there's no elevator. The staff speaks English and is very responsive."

"Traveling solo to Istanbul this time, I stayed at Canopy by Hilton. I arrived early morning due to an early flight, getting to the hotel around 8 AM. The lobby manager was incredibly nice; seeing how tired I looked, she first offered me coffee and then assured me she would push the staff to clean the room quickly. I ended up getting my room key by 10 AM! The hotel's location is also super convenient; every little street is worth exploring, with a charming mix of old and new. The hotel facilities are very comprehensive, and their tea bags are particularly unique. Finally, I'd like to thank staff members Berke, Kidvan, Ozan, and Ekin for their warm smiles and prompt, patient service!"

"The hotel is located close to the main attractions, within walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, and Spice Bazaar. We arrived from Istanbul New Airport by metro with transfers, then a tram. The journey was long and the metro system wasn't entirely clear, but we found the hotel quickly, right next to the tram stop. We were greeted by a Russian-speaking girl named Zulya, she was brilliant: she explained and showed us everything. That's where the positives ended. The room was *extremely* small, about 12-15 square meters. We had a double bed and a single bed, which took up the entire room. The bathroom was a definite negative; too cramped to shower or even wash. The renovation was poor: it was clear that some work had been done, but everything in the bathroom was just covered in silicone. We booked the hotel for 5 nights, but we quickly realized that we could only tolerate a maximum of 2 nights there. Again, thanks to Zulya, who arranged for us to shorten our stay and get a refund. We explored the entire area in 2 days and then booked a hotel in another part of Istanbul, near Taksim Square. We didn't take photos of the hotel, but if location is your priority, the hotel is decent, and the staff's attitude was excellent and welcoming."

"Excellent stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only comment I have is regarding breakfast; some food items were definitely reused from the day before. The tomato platter had old tomatoes mixed with fresh ones. Tomatoes are very delicate and spoil easily, so they should under no circumstances be reused the next day."

"I almost got lost upon arriving as the hotel looks like abandoned. The taxi had to turn around as someone else to confirm if the hotel is operational. Only to find out, the lights are off. Ameer, the receptionist, is nice. I just did not expect the room. I was assigned in the underground room. It seems there is on going renovation. The smell is weird. Bedroom is fine. One window is open but stuffed with something, hence the insects flying. Location is great as it is near to most tourist spots. Overall, the hotel is fine for solo and not so meticulous traveler."

"The accommodation was lovely and the front desk staff were great. I'd like to thank Ms. Gamze at the reception for her help."
