AAnonymous UserThe room was quite spacious, the reservation staff were very helpful; unfortunately we don’t get the name of the staffs in charge. Only complaint was the room’s not completely soundproof as one could hear sounds from the room next door. Over all, it was a good accommodation for a quick transit.

GGuest UserExcellent! It truly lives up to its reputation as the best in the area. The breakfast is plentiful, and it's undoubtedly the cleanest hotel in Medan. It was fantastic; the bed was made exceptionally well, and the water provided was good. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

MMichelle TKKThe room was comfortable overall, but I was disappointed to find that one of the towels had visible stains on it. Towels should be clean and spotless for every guest. Housekeeping should inspect them more carefully and replace any stained towels before the room is assigned. I hope the hotel improves its quality control in this area.
If you’d like, I can also make it more concise, more formal, or more strongly worded.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Emerald Garden Hotel in Medan for 7 days and 6 nights, and overall it was a comfortable and pleasant experience.
The location is very convenient, making it easy to travel around Medan for food, shopping, and meetings. The hotel environment is quiet and relaxing, which made it suitable for both business and rest.
The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. Housekeeping did a good job every day, keeping everything tidy and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well, which is important in Medan’s warm weather.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and whenever I needed assistance, the team responded quickly.
The breakfast selection was decent, with a mix of local Indonesian dishes and simple international options. It was a good way to start the day before heading out.
Facilities like the swimming pool and gym were also available and well maintained.
Overall, it was a pleasant 7-day stay, and I would recommend Emerald Garden Hotel to anyone visiting Medan for business or leisure.

PProf Dr Yong Lit ChenOverall, Ibis Styles Medan Pattimura offers an above-average stay and is a reasonably good choice for business travelers. One of the hotel's strongest points is its staff, who are consistently friendly, courteous, and attentive. Their professionalism and willingness to assist guests contribute positively to the overall experience.
However, the hotel's location is not particularly strategic, making it less convenient for accessing some of the city's main attractions and shopping areas. In addition, the facilities and in-room amenities appear somewhat dated and would benefit from renovation and modernization. The breakfast selection is also rather limited and lacks variety, especially for guests staying multiple days.
In conclusion, the hotel provides acceptable comfort and service for business trips, but it may not be the most suitable option for travelers seeking a relaxing holiday or leisure-focused stay. It serves its purpose well for short work-related visits, but there is room for improvement in terms of facilities, location, and dining options.

AAnonymous UserThe overall experience wasn't great, and the biggest area for improvement is hygiene. The cleanliness of both the room and public areas was subpar; some spots clearly hadn't been properly cleaned. The facilities and amenities also felt quite old, showing years of use, with some even appearing to be deteriorating. For the current price, the overall environment and facilities didn't meet expectations. I hope the hotel can improve its hygiene management and update some of the older equipment to ensure guests have a more comfortable and reassuring stay.

GGuest UserStrategic location, very clean accomodation, friendly and helpfull. Free parking. The downfall was no extra bed as the hotel always full house

TThomasBGI wish I could say it was ideal, because the hotel has the potential for that - but unfortunately it's not exactly that. The location is super, the building is what you can expect from an ex-Radisson hotel, but the problems with the cleanliness and the very aged bed linen left me a far from perfect first impression. Plus, at 4pm they still didn't have my room ready and asked me to wait 10-15 minutes. After escalating the problem to the manager I got a better room and from there on everything was OK, but the welcome was not at the level I expected.

SSiva Rama 256I had a pleasant one-day stay at Grand Sakura Hotel in Medan. The location is quite convenient, making it easy to get around the city and explore nearby attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a good space to relax after a day of travel.
The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. While the facilities are fairly simple, everything was functional and sufficient for a short stay. Overall, it’s a good value-for-money option for travelers looking for a comfortable and hassle-free place to stay in Medan.

Bboon22Affordable basic room but clean enough ( some ants though). Location is central within 20min walking radius of major malls ( Plaza Medan Fair/Sun/Cambridge), Damri airport bus ( in front of Plaza Medan Fair), family massage/reflexology outlets (Jl.Orion), and the popular medan cakes outlets eg ”bika ambon” (Zulaikha)/”bolu” (Meranti).
Car park is available with security.
However, the complimentary breakfast is only set without selection option.
