Lao Cai Hotels with Parking

The hotel is new and beautiful, the location is perfect, close to a lot of shop and restaurant. The staffs are nice and helpful. For sure we will book again next time

I stay at this hotel frequently when I travel to China. The staff are friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean, all amenities provided. Things to improve: Communication with whatsapp messages. The response is slow and when I required information to book a car to Sapa it took 2 hours to respond with a price of 600,000vnd. Meantime I had the hotel at Sapa help book a car for 500,000vnd within 20mins of messaging. Whatsapp is a fantastic app for foriegners to communicate with the hotels, so I hope this is improved service to help their business grow. For hot water, make sure the switch near the bathroom is turned on. Other then that, it is a fantastic hotel.

The location of the hotel is very good, you can see the scenery across the river. But the infrastructure is seriously aging and the sanitation is not good. The room was still clean and the price was very affordable.

The location was fine in the middle of the town, though we had to walk a few minutes to find restaurants. The biggest disappointment was the buffet breakfast. It only had noodle soup and bread. Most food trays had nothing. The hotel staff said there were only 10 guests so they didn't prepare most breakfast dishes. Some hostels' breakfast could be better than this 4 star hotel. The bathroom had no bathtub which was fine, but the whole place got wet after shower as water leaked from the shower area to the toilet and everywhere. The room smelled quite a bit when we first walked in and the AC system was partially locked so we couldn't change the AC mode. The only positive was the hotel staff was friendly and let us check in early for free.

I enjoyed this hotel, I wished the shower was more warm but it wasn’t cold. Reception was friendly and helpful. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. I had a motorcycle rental and they had a covered garage so that was a bonus!

Staying here for the second time, the reviews are the same as last time. The hotel is clean and sanitary. It is very close to Hekou Customs and very convenient. The counter staff can speak Chinese and can communicate easily. Breakfast is also ok, a hotel worth recommending.

Excellent location, there are many snack bars, coffee shops and entertainment on the nearby street. The hotel environment is elegant and comfortable, clean and hygienic. Chinese people need to take their documents (do not understand), check out and wait for the hotel staff to check the room before returning the documents.

The taxi fare from Lao Cai Port is about 40K dong (12 yuan). The room is quite large. If you live on the 6th to 8th floors, you can see part of the street view of Lao Cai, including: Ga Lao Cai (train station), but the train station is no longer there at all. It’s lively, a bit like market towns in third- and fourth-tier cities in China. The hotel is very clean, similar to domestic chain stores, and is a three-star hotel. However, they check in after 14:00. If you check in early, you need to pay an additional 340K dong (100 yuan Rmb), and the original room rate is about 230. The scenery outside the hotel is not bad. There is a bay window to sit by and have a cup of coffee. It is quite comfortable (send a picture). Xiao Du (Ms.) at the hotel front desk can speak Chinese and there is no problem with basic communication. The owner (lady) of the small coffee shop on the right side of the hotel's main entrance is very kind and speaks good Chinese.
