"Grand Hyatt is truly a hidden gem! I stayed there in March, paying 1500 RMB per night for a king-size sea-view room including breakfast. I arrived at the hotel close to 7 PM on the first day, and the check-in process at the front desk was seamless. They had already prepared the room decorations as discussed via email.
The hotel grounds are expansive, with a beautiful garden-style layout. Although it's been open for 30 years and shows a bit of age, it's very well-maintained. Its early establishment in Bali means it secured an excellent location, situated on Nusa Dua's finest stretch of beach with a long coastline. The hotel's public areas are incredibly spacious, offering picturesque views at every turn, truly embodying the essence of Bali.
There are three restaurants and multiple bars. You can also order food by the pool or have it delivered to your room. The prices are quite reasonable, even cheaper than in China.
Our room was on the 4th floor of the South Village, offering an unobstructed, stunning ocean view.
The main pool is beautiful and faces the sea directly. The sun loungers are nestled under trees, so you don't get scorched by the sun. Unfortunately, the large waterslide was under maintenance. The kids' club offers childcare for 2 hours a day.
The only downside is that the breakfast was truly unappetizing – it was all very 'Western' food, which was a headache!
Most of the guests were Australians; there were very few Chinese or even Asian guests. During our 4-night stay, we only encountered three or four other Chinese groups. This really enhanced the vacation vibe and the value for money. Perfect."
