The price is not cheap, but neither the hotel's hardware nor its software lives up to it. **Room:** The shower water temperature was unstable, suddenly becoming very hot or cold. Also, the showerhead was leaking at first, but it stopped after I tightened it. Furthermore, there's no place to hang clothes in the bathroom. I suggest the hotel could provide a laundry basket so guests can place towels and clothes outside the bathroom while showering. The Wi-Fi signal in the room was unstable, often losing connection or disconnecting. **Service:** The hotel offers an airport transfer service, and the driver's service was excellent, punctual for pickup and drop-off. Because I had a good impression of the driver, I booked a car for a day to tour the attractions. However, the service of the charter driver significantly tarnished my impression of Lianfu. We had agreed on the attractions before departure, but halfway through, the driver strongly recommended we go to another free attraction, repeatedly saying that the one we originally planned to visit was not good. We politely declined and insisted on sticking to our original plan, but he still drove us to the attraction he recommended. After getting out, because we felt we wouldn't have enough time to visit the attractions we wanted if we explored this place, we asked the charter driver to take us back. After that, his attitude visibly changed, which made us feel very uncomfortable. Upon returning, I searched on Xiaohongshu about the attraction the charter driver recommended and found nothing but posts about being scammed and warned to avoid it, which made the experience even worse. I highly do not recommend it. Additionally, a butler service is provided. The service was normal, not giving a feeling of being at home, and there were some oversights. However, the hotel manager's service was good. **Food:** The breakfast was abundant, offering both Chinese and Western options, with many kinds of fruit, and the taste was decent. The afternoon tea included with the booking is good for photos, but besides the coconut water, the taste was not good, so you can skip it. **Location:** It's near the Starlight Night Market, making it convenient for getting around. **Facilities:** The facade is very small; from the outside, it doesn't look like a luxury hotel. The interior decoration of the hotel is quite good, but the swimming pool is also relatively small, which doesn't match the price point.

I rarely leave reviews, but I have to say Cloudside Hotel really impressed me. From the cleanliness and facilities to the staff's service, everything was excellent. A special thanks to the manager and front desk staff for their hospitality. They helped us with our luggage from the moment we arrived until we checked out. Big thumbs up! Facilities: The facilities are very complete. Among the three hotels in Sunac Cultural Park, this one has a superior location. The hotel features both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and there's even a bonfire party at the outdoor pool in the evening. Service: The hotel service is excellent, especially JOY and Yalong, who provided a truly welcoming experience. They offered great recommendations for local dining and entertainment spots and gave a detailed introduction to the hotel's special services. Environment: The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, with elegant scenery and distinctive architecture. There are shuttle buggies circulating between the three hotels. In the lobby, white and green peacocks greet guests upon arrival.

This hotel features an independent building design and is perfectly located in Gaozhuang, making it incredibly convenient for dining and starting tours from the tourist distribution center. Being on a higher floor, it's wonderfully quiet. The service is on par with a star-rated hotel; I came during the off-season and they even upgraded my room. The bathroom was huge, and the view was particularly expansive. Adding breakfast was also very easy. When I was leaving, a staff member even thoughtfully helped me with my luggage! I usually don't bother writing reviews, but this place genuinely deserves it. If I get the chance to return, I'll definitely stay here again!

I have to start by saying that the staff are amazing. Even though they don’t speak English, especially this one young woman was very helpful. She would show up at the door and use a translator to offer help. I was also helped to get transportation to the botanical garden. This is very different from the bad service I received in another hotel there. The hotel itself is older and needs to be renovated; it needs new furniture and better soundproofing for the noise from the street. There is no breakfast or a swimming pool. I stayed at the Sunac Resort for all 7 days of my trip to Xishuangbanna, experiencing several family-friendly hotels. Pullman was the second one, and I think choosing it during the summer rainy season was a very smart decision. When it rained during the day, there were so many activities and parent-child programs available at the hotel. The most reliable aspect was the one-on-one butler service. Our butler, Victoria, was incredibly attentive and arranged everything perfectly according to our needs. She even proactively asked about our plans and recommended fun places and delicious food, making it effortless to visit various attractions. Absolutely fantastic! 👍 Victoria upgraded us to a family room, which my child loved, and we felt very comfortable and secure. The cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast was quite rich, and I particularly loved the traditional sticky rice and rice noodles. We also opted for the hotel's photography service, which requires advance booking. I felt the clothes and shoes provided were much cleaner and had more variety than those outside. The photos turned out great! We didn't have to deal with crowds at places like Manting Park, which was very relaxing and still produced excellent pictures! I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation. There are riverside food stalls nearby, and the Starlight Night Market is just across the river, offering unbeatable views both day and night. The hotel facilities are decent. The room I was assigned this time was quite nice, with a Chinese-style decor and a direct view of the unparalleled scenery across the river. The staff's service attitude was acceptable. It would be perfect if the butler service could be improved and the variety and quality of breakfast were enhanced!

Gaozhuang truly transforms from day to night; its real charm only emerges in the evening! The melodious hulusi, the graceful Fannuo dance, the endless neon lights, the exotic Dai electronic music, and the bustling Ganbai Street. Since I'm not a fan of guesthouses, I always choose the Mekong Jinglan Hotel for my stays. I visited Gaozhuang two years ago and also stayed at Jinglan. The facilities, location, views, and service were all top-notch. So, for this trip to Gaozhuang, Jinglan was again my top choice! The room interiors, bed frames, and even the exterior walls are all well-maintained, indicating that the hotel is well-managed and invests in its upkeep, creating a positive cycle. This time, I'm staying in Gaozhuang for 4 days. I initially booked a two-day River View Executive Twin Room. At check-in, the lovely Miss Xiaoju at the front desk warmly welcomed me and helped arrange a high-floor room as requested. When I learned about the in-house suites on higher floors (fewer than 5 available, with better views, and not sold on platforms), Xiaoju proactively offered a key card for me to view them. After some discussion, Xiaoju offered a very favorable price within her authority. Consequently, I decided to book the in-house suite for another two days. A huge thank you to Xiaoju for her help! My vacation wasn't long enough this time to stay for the Dai New Year Water Splashing Festival. I'll definitely come back when I have more time to experience the three-day carnival!

The room was spacious and clean, and the hotel, despite its rich history, didn't feel old-fashioned at all. With a lovely courtyard in front and a pool terrace in the back, we had a very comfortable stay, and our child loved it too. My only regret is that we only booked for one night this time; next time, we'll definitely stay for a couple more days. Even though our visit was short, we got to enjoy swimming, picking dragon fruit, the kids' play area, the spa, and a travel photoshoot, among other things. The complimentary photoshoot offered by the hotel was excellent; the photographer was very dedicated, taking us to several beautiful spots for pictures. The edits looked natural, and I couldn't resist adding more photos to our package.

The staff were extremely helpful and kind. As a returning customer, the manager gave us an upgrade by surprise, which made our stay extra comfy. They went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Especially Mrs Lei who works in the restaurant. She offered her own coffee to us in early morning before the barista started working. She also provided us exactly what we wanted for each breakfast, on time. My partner is from the UK, he said that he has never felt so at home abroad just because of Mrs Lei!
