"I initially chose another hotel, but wasn't satisfied. Then I came to Lan Ou Hotel, and it felt like a breath of fresh air. The room has a big bed and a comfortable sofa to lounge on. It's located next to a residential area, so it's super quiet at night for sleeping. They even offer Fujian local snacks for breakfast! The hotel front desk service is also very attentive; they were still actively answering questions even near midnight. I'd recommend this place to anyone flying in or just arriving in Fuzhou. Plus, it's close to a street full of delicious food. Definitely avoid hotels near the highway; they're noisy at night. In short, if you're in Fuzhou, choose Lan Ou!"

Hotel near Dongjiekou Shopping Center,Fuzhou
The Shuxiang Wenru Hotel is located at No. 50 Wenru Lane, the heart of Fuzhou's Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, occupying a prime and unparalleled location within the scenic area. Nestled amidst a cluster of well-preserved Ming and Qing dynasty ancient houses, the hotel opens directly onto cobblestone lanes, with Nanhou Street, former residences of notable figures, and unique cultural and creative shops just a short walk away, offering exceptional convenience for sightseeing, shopping, and photo opportunities. Sheltered from the bustle of the streets, the hotel's serene courtyard provides a tranquil retreat—guests can step out to enjoy the lively local atmosphere and return to the peaceful embrace of the courtyard, making it the ideal choice for an immersive stay in Three Lanes and Seven Alleys. 。 Originally the mansion of Chen Maohou, a Qing Dynasty imperial scholar, the hotel carries over 200 years of cultural heritage. The entire compound retains the original layout of Min-style ancient architecture, complete with saddle-shaped walls, carved wooden beams, courtyard water features, and winding corridors with floral halls. Every brick and tile reflects the scholarly legacy of the Luo-Chen family. The hotel embraces an elegant neo-Chinese design, with Fujian’s intangible cultural heritage—exquisite bodiless lacquerware—as the central aesthetic theme, seamlessly blending traditional Chinese elements throughout the space. Handcrafted lacquer decorations, classical calligraphy and paintings, and intricately carved wooden window frames adorn the guest rooms and public areas, exuding warmth and refinement. Free from excessive ornamentation, the design recreates the understated elegance of ancient literati residences, with every corner embodying Eastern aesthetics—each snapshot captures the essence of Chinese cultural ambiance. The hotel offers a diverse range of room types to suit various travelers, including scenic deluxe rooms, courtyard golden hot spring suites, family suites, and standalone courtyard villas. Each room honors the historical architecture’s integrity, preserving the beauty of original wooden structures while incorporating modern comforts, striking a perfect balance between classical charm and contemporary convenience. The standalone courtyard hot spring rooms are a standout feature, allowing guests to indulge in private hot springs without leaving their quarters, offering a complete Fuzhou cultural retreat within a traditional Chinese courtyard. Dining is a highlight of the hotel, featuring a Michelin one-star Fujian cuisine restaurant dedicated to authentic Fuzhou flavors. Using locally sourced fresh ingredients, the restaurant’s star chefs craft distinctive Fujian delicacies, enabling guests to savor Michelin-level dishes without stepping outside the ancient compound—a one-stop immersion into Fuzhou’s culinary culture. Beyond dining, the hotel offers diverse cultural experiences, including Hanfu rentals for children and adults, and treasure-hunt activities for families, catering to couples, family trips, and cultural or business travelers. Staying here allows guests to delve into the millennia-old history of Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, appreciate the artistry of bodiless lacquerware, experience genuine Chinese courtyard living, and relish Michelin-starred cuisine—unlocking a seamless blend of dining, accommodation, and exploration in Fuzhou’s cultural heartland.

"Staying with my child in the Shuxiang Wenru parent-child room exceeded all expectations! The location is tucked away inside the ancient houses of Wenrufang in Sanfang Qixiang, offering a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. The traditional Chinese courtyard vibe is fantastic, and it's super convenient for exploring the alleys and lanes. The cleanliness deserves a special shout-out! The room was meticulously cleaned; no water stains or odors in the corners or bathroom. The bedding was clean and soft, and impressively, for an old architectural style, there was no musty smell. It gave me great peace of mind traveling with a child. The ambiance is typical of a new Chinese style within a traditional Minnan ancient house. The courtyard is elegant and serene, with wooden windows and lacquered art摆件 (decorations) that give it a scholarly feel. It’s quiet and not noisy, ensuring an undisturbed night's rest. The parent-child facilities are very thoughtful. They provided special toiletries for children, and the room was spacious with comfortable beds, catering to all the needs of families traveling with kids. The courtyard also offers Hanfu experiences and parent-child treasure hunts, which my child absolutely loved. The service was warm and attentive. The staff responded promptly, patiently addressing all our requests and communicating kindly and helpfully. Breakfast was a delightful surprise! There was a rich variety, catering to both adults and children, including many local Fuzhou snacks. The ingredients were fresh and light, perfect for children. Dining in the ancient courtyard setting truly amplified the experience. This is an excellent choice for a short family trip to Fuzhou. Next time we visit Sanfang Qixiang with our child, we'll definitely choose this place again!"

Hotel near Dongjiekou Shopping Center,Fuzhou
Shangri-La Fuzhou is located in the bustling Golden Business District of Gulou District, seamlessly connected to the shopping center called 'BAFUNHUI' by Shangri-La. It is surrounded by prominent city-level landmarks such as Wuyi Square, the White Tower, and Fujian Grand Theatre, and is just a three-minute walk from Nanmendou Metro Station. It takes approximately 20 minutes by car to reach Fuzhou Railway Station, 40 minutes to arrive at Fuzhou South Railway Station, and 45 minutes to get to Changle International Airport. The newly established Jiangnan Wok Chinese Restaurant and the Lobby Lounge All-day Dining Restaurant impeccably meet all the gastronomic needs of guests. Additionally, the shopping center has ingeniously designed a top-quality leisure and entertainment space called 'Buds' for family guests.

"A perfect travel experience! Fuzhou Shangri-La is like a fine wine, getting better with age. Facilities: Although it's nearly 30 years old, the interior decoration and facilities show no signs of aging. The moment you step into the lobby and smell the signature Shangri-La fragrance, the Fuzhou heat is instantly left behind, allowing you to relax and enjoy the hotel's amenities and services. If you get tired of the hotel, you can always explore the adjacent mall. Hygiene: Clean and tidy, with all amenities well-stocked. A special thanks to the housekeeping staff. My child threw up on the sheets in the middle of the night after eating too many cherry tomatoes at the executive lounge, and the housekeeping team promptly helped change the bedding and offered the usual Shangri-La care. Service: The service is top-notch, consistently providing that 'home away from home' feeling. We received welcome fruits and white fungus soup upon check-in. An unexpected surprise: The hotel's GM, Eric, used to be the GM of Beijing Shangri-La. I even met him in the Beijing Shangri-La lobby ten years ago. When traveling, Shangri-La is always the safest choice, and you deserve it."

"The room facilities were complete, clean, and tidy, with luxurious and elegant decor. The lake view room offered superb scenery, and the front desk staff were very enthusiastic! The outdoor pool was great, but the front desk said it closed at 10 PM, yet the lifeguard turned off the lights at 9:35 PM, forcing us out of the water prematurely and cutting our fun short. The breakfast was rich, with a wide variety and delicious taste! I would stay here again next time!"

The Juchunyuan Hotel (Fuzhou Sanfang Qixiang) provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Juchunyuan Hotel (Fuzhou Sanfang Qixiang) is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Fuzhou. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Fuzhou Railway Station located approximately 5km away and Fuzhou Changle International Airport roughly 49km away. Transportation around the city is also convenient, with Nanmendou Metro Station within walking distance. With Wuyi Square, Fuzhou Grand Hotel - International Conference Center and Three Lanes And Seven Alleys all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. If you demand a high level of service, our guests have indicated that this hotel has excellent standards. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"This is my second stay here, and the hygiene is excellent! The atmosphere is particularly inviting, which is why I chose this hotel again for my business trip to Fuzhou. The service is warm and attentive, completely different from the 'eight-teeth-showing' SOP service you might find in large star-rated hotels. It feels a bit casual, but in that casualness, there's a genuine, caring attitude, like that of family or friends. It's not just like being at home; it *is* like coming home. Due to the objective architectural structure, the room furnishings can't compare to those of star-rated hotels. The furniture might seem a bit old, or perhaps its vintage style gives the 'old' illusion, but this is exactly the 'vibe' I'm looking for."

It is also adjacent to Xianying Palace, Sea Clam Park and Wanghailou Beach.

"This Jinjiang Hotel is super new! I chose it over the Lavande next door because I'd heard of Jinjiang but hadn't tried it yet. **Facilities**: It's a standalone building in a cluster of hotels, very new and well-maintained. Everything feels fresh and great. **Hygiene**: Spotless, as expected from a Jinjiang Group hotel. They really prioritize top-notch cleanliness. **Ambiance**: Being a Jinjiang Group property, it boasts a unique marble-integrated hotel style. Inside, there's a 'watercolor ink' world map mural which I found quite appealing. The restrooms are fully smart, with electronic bidet toilets, so no more startlingly cold seats at night! **Service**: Excellent! I ordered breakfast, and while it's not as lavish as a JW, it was still very good and had everything you'd need. A pleasant surprise was being given a soft rubber pillow without even having to ask the front desk. It was a thoughtful touch, and the pillow was genuinely comfortable, really helping my neck. Thumbs up! **P.S.** This is one of the rare hotels without any downsides. Both the indoor and outdoor environments are very pleasant. Whether it's the ambiance or the location, everything was convenient and smooth, perfectly fitting the occasion. A great place! Plus, they offer airport drop-off service for early flights! If I had to pick a flaw, it would be that the automatic doors in the lobby are a bit too sensitive and open frequently. Coupled with being in a coastal area, it can make the ground floor lobby feel a bit stuffy. I'll definitely be back!"

Hotel near Dongjiekou Shopping Center,Fuzhou
Tucked away within Sanfang Qixiang Historical and Cultural Block, the hotel occupies a heritage building listed as immovable cultural relic. This 400-year-old Zeng Clan Mansion was the ancestral residence of descendants of Zeng Gong, a towering literary master of the Northern Song Dynasty. The clan fostered generations of outstanding talents; during the Qing Dynasty, four successive direct line kin all passed the imperial jinshi examination, rendering it an unrivaled mansion of imperial scholars across Sanfang Qixiang. Retaining the original courtyard layout of ancient lane dwellings, the compound features a shared central atrium alongside private exclusive yards attached to each guestroom. Every blossom, every tree and every turn unfolds a unique cultural vista. Renovated under the philosophy of sustainable native aesthetics, the ancient courtyard is woven together by the serene charm of guqin melodies. The texture of traditional Min-Yue dwellings, intangible cultural heritage lacquer art and oriental floral aesthetics permeate every spatial detail. Fitted with premium light-luxury furnishings, the property integrates a cultural boutique inn, guqin museum, art gallery, heritage tea salon, Hanfu travel photography experience and elegant literary gatherings, crafting an immersive high-end aesthetic retreat exclusive to urban micro-vacations amid ancient Fuzhou city.

"Pretty hotel in pretty old ancient buildings. Lots of high curbs in the hotel. The staffs were very helpful with our luggage. Every corner of the hotel looks pretty and photogenic. The welcome tea is nice! The hotel lobby with wooden high ceiling is so impressive and pretty. The tea rooms that we can choose to have our breakfast are pretty and aircon cooling too. The hotel room looks so much better than the pictures in their booking site. High ceiling, warm note and comes with a comfortable soothing wooden smell. The bathroom comes with ancient look door with wooden planks and in btw can be look through, but overall looks new and clean. Amazed by the bidet toilet in the ancient wooden setting. Its a good mix of modern and ancient in the most appropriate way. We almost didn't feel like leaving the hotel. Bathtub outside looks so pretty as well, especially on rainy days and early mornings, but we were worried about the mosquitos. The hotel is 1 minute away from the main shopping/touristy street, and you can get all the teas and gifts from there. Note that the hotel is located far from the main road. Nearest road side for dropoff and boarding is at the Starbucks, which sometimes seems far when you are tired and seems near when you leave the hotel for the day. About 8 mins walk away i think. There are little shops along the way as well. And the street looks super cool at night with all the lanterns along the way. As mentioned earlier, the hotel staffs gladly helped you with your luggage to the boarding point. Overall great experience! Love it!"

"Full marks, highly recommend the Four Points by Sheraton Changle! My overall stay this time exceeded expectations, and I must specifically commend Max at the front desk. Upon arrival, the check-in process was efficient and smooth. Max was enthusiastic and friendly throughout, patiently verifying my reservation details, proactively explaining breakfast hours and the gym's location, and thoughtfully providing information on local transportation. When I asked about parking and room types, her answers were detailed and professional, without any perfunctory responses. The hotel lobby is spacious and tidy, the guest rooms are clean and odor-free, the bedding is soft, and the soundproofing is good. The amenities are new and complete, and the breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of options. It’s excellent value for money. The entire service team is highly professional, and Max's attentive service made my trip particularly comfortable. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip or vacation to Changle. Highly recommended!"

"This was my first time staying at a hotel in Fuzhou with my two kids. After much comparison, I chose the Xihu Park branch of the Yuehua Hotel. Even during the May Day holiday, the price was still quite reasonable. The room was larger than I expected and had a small balcony. On the day we checked in, we received complimentary fruit (2 apples and 1 pear, haha!), drinks, and starting at 9 PM, there was congee and small side dishes available. Overall, the service and breakfast were the highlights. The staff at the lobby, in the rooms, and at the fitness center were all fantastic. When I checked in, I asked the front desk for a bed rail, and it was delivered and installed within 10 minutes. The staff operating the electric shuttle carts were always very nice; one even got out of the cart after parking to show us the way to Xihu Park from the hotel's side entrance, concerned we wouldn't know how to get there. When my child was swimming alone in the pool, the staff there even helped look after them. The restaurant's breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. Not only did they have all the authentic Fuzhou snacks, but also a full selection of Chinese, Western, hot, and cold dishes. This was much better than other hotels I've stayed at before. The dining staff were also excellent, proactively introducing Fuzhou snacks and reminding the children to be careful. Special shoutout to Xiao Wang, who was beautiful, kind, and very enthusiastic. My elder daughter said she wants to stay here again next time we come to Fuzhou (though it would be even better if the kids' play area was a bit bigger, haha!)."
