Great
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located near peachtree street. Although the location is close to Lenox mall but still a bit far for a walk. Saw a few pubs and bars. I would say they are ok in general but it would be nice if they could moved me upper floor as I clearly requested that I prefer upper floor .
Breakfast was rather good though although there weren't much varieties but blueberry pancake was very delicious.
YYinhexiaowanziThe location is absolutely fantastic, right in the city center with many attractions downstairs, all within walking distance. Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients and tasted great. The hygiene was also excellent. Very satisfied overall.
GGuest UserAll staff weee do friendly couldn’t fault this place from the fresh hit breakfast to the free evening reception!
Splitting hairs but the only 2 slight criticisms are the music on pool deck is too loud & public atrium too cold!!
Apart from that everything was wonderful - def the best choice in downtown Atlanta
LLorena CNice hotel apartment, across from Civic Center station with underground parking. Very good service from front desk staff. A lovely space with coloring area in the lobby, restaurant are precursor to the apartment: full kitchen, living room, dining area, two tvs, balcony and bedroom, kind of classic Marriott style. But unlike Marriott there were no extra towels, bathrobes, slippers or toiletries beyond soap and shower cap.
The restaurant hours on the key are incorrect. The restaurant closes at 930pm although front desk said only the kitchen closes at 945pm. Anyway the mix up led to none of our interactions with the reticent restaurant's staff for room service. The restaurant takes a daily siesta too, though the key says weekends only. The 12 doesn't let Door Dash come to the apartment, only the lobby. However, 12 Staff will deliver if anyone's available; otherwise you have to go to the lobby.
All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.
GGuest UserBooked a night here only for the beignet, and it’s been removed from the menu. I also had people in the next room blasting music at 3:30am. I called security to report it, they never came had to get up and go down stairs and ask again and finally security came up to quite the guest.
MMohamed SidamarThis is not my first time here , I used to be very nicer when it was Thompson , now the service is very bad specially, the guy who fill out the bar inside the rooms he’s very very rude .
JjenwhiteMy husband and our son stayed here cause we always have a great stay at hoilday inn all over. I will start with the bad. First off, when we booked this hotel, it stated the breakfast is included while getting checked In. I saw a sign saying that you have to pay for breakfast and it's 9 dollars a plate. 😡so I asked the guy that was checking us in. Why do we have to pay 9 dollars for breakfast he said it's not in my reservation. That was false,. So he said we have to call ihg to inform them of this and I said NO you call cause this is your hotel not mine. Anyways I have never stayed at a hoilday Inn IHG and had to pay for breakfast (NEVER)..The good news is we slept good.. room was clean.
HHaidideboluodehaiThe hotel as a whole is OK, it is probably the level of Hanting in China, and there is no work.
Facilities: OK, there are some facilities, coffee machine refrigerators. However, no toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers are provided. But Dofen's body soap, shampoo and these.
Hygienic: OK, very clean, no insects or anything.
Environment: Very good, very good parking, very close to Emory University.
Service: The hotel staff is very friendly, I checked in at 2 am, and the other party also expressed understanding and helped me handle it. (The front desk of the hotel is 24 hours, which is very good)
EemanI recently stayed at the Courtland Grand Hotel during a conference in Atlanta. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown, with easy access to major venues and public transportation. The lobby is spacious and has a classic charm, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating during check-in.
However, there were a few areas where the experience fell short. The room was clean but felt dated, and the room lights are not enough to light up the room. Housekeeping was inconsistent—some days everything was well-stocked, while on others, they will clean room while you are inside. The elevators also seemed slow, especially during peak hours.
Destination fee failed to collect upon check-in. I received a letter on the door of the unit and you cannot enter the room without paying on it.
Need to ask for the complimentary bottle water, never been provided upon check-in also the same for the dental kit.
Overall, it’s a decent choice if you’re attending an event nearby and looking for a central location, but there’s room for improvement in amenities and room updates.
