Excellent
GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located, just a two-minute walk from Light Rail Line 1. It's also very close to attractions like Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street and Hongyadong, about a 10-minute walk away. The service attitude was particularly good; they even recommended local hotpot places that were absolutely delicious.

GGuest UserThe two ladies at the front desk were incredibly helpful and friendly. They even recommended some delicious local eateries, and their suggestions were spot on! The room's location was fantastic, and it was spotlessly clean. We were right next to Jiefangbei, and there were tons of food options and attractions within easy reach. They even gave us a small gift when we checked out. Highly recommend staying here, we had a very comfortable stay.

FFuyaozhishang~Chongqing was really fun, and the hotel was great too. On the second day, I swapped afternoon tea for two breakfasts. I couldn't get up to eat, but my boyfriend did and said it was very good. The only thing was that check-in at the front desk was a bit slow. I went to the viewing platform several times to see the night view, and they still hadn't finished checking me in. The bed in the room was quite large, and the bedside night light was a thoughtful touch – it automatically lit up when it sensed someone. The shower pressure was super strong, and the hot water came quickly. I stayed in room 1310, and it wasn't noisy at all, which was great. For hotpot, we tried Yuda Shi and it didn't disappoint. Dongzipao Jianghu Cuisine was also delicious, no regrets there. The only issue was that on the first night, we arrived too late and the lights at Hongyadong were already off. On the second day, we spontaneously joined a tour group by the road and went sightseeing. After riding the Yangtze River Cableway and having hotpot, Hongyadong closed again. It was so funny, we didn't get to see Hongyadong light up on either night, even though we stayed at the closest hotel. We also didn't get to try many snacks. I wouldn't recommend the 'qian xu gao' (thousand strand cake) – it was too sweet and sticky. And the highest 'Eye of the Clouds' observation deck? Don't bother. The tickets are expensive, and the night view from up there is just average. They even charge for the big photo they take – with such expensive tickets, the photo should be free! There were still many attractions we didn't get to visit this time. I definitely want to come back to Chongqing when I get another chance!

Nno1025The room was spacious and very clean, and the facilities were complete. What was even more surprising was that the shower room also had conditioner and body lotion, which is very thoughtful for female guests!
The room was on a higher floor, offering a great view from the window, and Chongqing's night view is absolutely beautiful!
The only drawback was that the building had a lot of foot traffic, and changing elevators was quite troublesome. Sometimes, an elevator would be under maintenance, making the wait even longer. There were even instances where elevator doors weren't working properly and nearly trapped people.
Overall, it was still a very good stay and added a lot to our Chongqing trip!

XXiaoyibuchiyuMy stay in Chongqing this time was fantastic! The room was clean, tidy, and very spacious, with soft, comfortable bedding that ensured a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to answer any questions. It was super convenient to have a robot deliver anything I needed to the room right away. The hotel breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient too; it's just a few minutes' walk to Hongyadong from the first floor entrance, and you can reach Jiefangbei directly from the 22nd floor. The value for money is outstanding – I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserThis hotel truly exceeded my expectations. Its location in the Jiefangbei area is very convenient, close to Hongya Cave and Bayi Food Street. The river view room indeed offers a great view of Qiansimen Bridge. The bathroom is spacious, and the TV in the room even allowed us to catch up on TV shows. The landlady's recommendation for Jiang Er Wa Chuan Chuan Xiang was absolutely delicious. On my last day, they even granted me a late check-out, which was incredibly thoughtful. The only minor drawback was the inconsistent and often disconnected Wi-Fi. Other than that, I was extremely satisfied.

Yyfz3182The hotel was surprisingly good, and every staff member was friendly. The concierge was very responsive to all requests. The breakfast was also excellent. It happened to be my birthday today, and they even gave me a gift! My four-night stay was fantastic. The location is great, very close to attractions and the subway station.

11863529****Excellent location, very close to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. Hongyadong is actually right downstairs; the buildings above Hongyadong in the videos are where the hotel is situated. The location is superb, the facilities are good, and the service is great. They even have a laundry room.

AAnonymous UserThe 54-square-meter room is very spacious and bright, meeting the standards for apartment functionality and facilities. It was cleaned very well and was tidy, which deserves praise. However, the facilities are indeed a bit old, probably due to the hotel having been open for a while. The location is excellent and convenient for getting anywhere. Heading up to Baixiang Street, you'll find a street rich in local culture, with places to eat and have tea. To the left, it's a 10-minute, 10-yuan taxi ride to Hongyadong, Raffles City, and the cruise terminal. To the right, heading towards Shapingba, you can cross the road from the hotel and go down to the riverside to see the Yangtze River.

GGuest UserOverall a great place. Beautiful rooms of the highest quality in every regard. The best features are the hot spring pools in the rooms of course. The showers are also great( two in every shower room) Great quality TV with great sound. Good selection of movies( not the latest releases) but all free. Food at the hotell restaurants had good standard. The best we have experienced in China. But for double the price we would pay for the same quality Chinese food in Norway. Surprisingly!
But keep clear of the pizza. It is actually just a frozen pizza type. Very small. We didn’t order any more western dishes after that, except for the Cesar’s salad. Which was good.
The place is old now and a bit worn. But it’s still is very very beautiful and high quality.
Where this hotell really shines is the services of the staff. Even if they don’t speak English and we don’t speak Chinese they are very patient.
To a Norwegian it is almost too much. They carry your bags even when thy are too heavie and many for one person.
They drive you you to and from your room if you have a villa.
We got an upgrade from ordinary room with hot spring pool and double bed to a villa! Because we found 6 small worms in the shower room.
I think this is pretty hard to avoid in such a sub tropical and humid environment.
But we reported it to the staff and they immediately gave us an upgrade with a complementary big fruit basket. We were blown away by this huge upgrade.
Only thing that was a bit negative and unexpected is the extra deposit fee which is quite high.
I think this should have been more clearly informed in the hotell booking and hotell online page.
We were a bit low on funds as Banyan tree was our last hotell stay in China before leaving and we were on a planned but tight budget.
We solved it of course with our Mastercard but it caused a bit stress for us.
And a second thing is that using Alipay instead of WeChat is more difficult at the hotell. ( not impossible)But without Chinese phone number you can’t use WeChat.
