GGuest UserThis hotel is only a year old, and honestly, new is always good. Plus, they upgraded me to an executive room, so what's not to love? It was super comfortable. The HUAZHU beds are a bit too soft, but a quick flip and it was just right for me. The complimentary water looked like a premium brand (Chinese design has really improved!), I even had to double-check with the front desk to make sure it was free. I also really enjoyed the sparkling water in the mini-fridge. The breakfast milk was great; if only the coffee tasted as good.

AAnonymous UserI have absolutely no complaints about this hotel, only high praise and expectations! It's about a ten-minute walk from the subway station, and the hotel's standalone building is in a great location, not feeling at all out of the way. As soon as we walked in, we were captivated by the special decor. The front desk staff offered us delicious hot tea, and we even played a small game with them to get a pretty floral keychain for free.
The hotel facilities are also excellent; the smart toilet exceeded my expectations. They even provided complimentary snacks and AD Calcium Milk. On the second day, we received an extra gift of makeup remover pads from the hotel, which was incredibly thoughtful and attentive.
The hotel breakfast was also delicious. There's a coffee machine for making coffee, and everyone *must* try the freshly wrapped mini wontons! (My only minor quibble is that the desserts weren't great, and the bread slices weren't particularly tasty either.)
I truly love this hotel; I was extremely satisfied with my stay.

GGuest UserThe hotel is situated in the suburbs, but there is a metro station within 500 m from the hotel. It will take you about 1.5 h to get to the city center by metro or about 50 minutes by taxi (DiDi). Neat the metro there is a big shopping center where you can find everything you may potentially need (those desserts from Holiland are amazing!) The breakfast is very tasty and you can definitely find something tasty to eat both from local cuisine as well as some Western-style things. The room was clean and spacious. I enjoyed the stay and had a possibility to relax.

AAnonymous UserOverall, the service was quite good, and they even provided complimentary breakfast for my older child. However, the experience at the pancake station during breakfast was not ideal. Firstly, there was no one manning the station to make pancakes, and it took a while after we asked for someone to finally show up. Then, the chef making the pancakes seemed to assume that each person couldn't have a whole pancake, but rather only a few cut pieces (a pancake is usually cut into 4-8 pieces). When I asked for a whole pancake, the chef asked how many people were eating and suggested taking less if there were fewer people, and to eat other things instead. This was quite strange; when you buy pancakes outside, isn't it usually one whole pancake per person? And whether I eat other things or how many pancakes I eat is my own business, especially since I wasn't taking extra, just waiting for the chef to finish one and then taking it. This was the only part that wasn't a good experience, and I hope it can be improved in the future.

GGuest User👌Had a wonderful two night stay at this hotel. Relocated there after a booking mishap caused us to change hotels since the hotel we were staying at in the city became overbooked. We decided to move to this one since it was closer to the airport and we had an early morning flight originating from Binhai (2days after)
👌We had a beautiful room for a family of 3( business room)The room was exceptionally clean and also quite spacious. Facilities are excellent with an on-site laundry room that allows self-service. We didn’t have breakfast since we slept in.
👌Received a very warm welcome from Liu at the front desk, check in was smooth and quick. We had a small issue in the room about noise from upstairs but she resolved it and explained the reason why and apologised for the inconvenience.
👌In the morning, two of us had to return to Beijing for a meeting, the lovely and kind ladies on duty Pang, who spoke English and Wang helped us organise transportation to the airport so we could get the subway train ( there’s a direct subway to Tianjin railway station originating from the airport ) to Beijing. While we waited for the car, they offered us refreshments (tea and water)
👌The driver Wang was so kind and spoke English and helped advise us on the train schedules so we wouldn’t miss the train back since we were returning back from Beijing to Tianjin in the evening to stay the night and leave for our morning flight.
👌They also organised a pick up from the airport when we arrived back to Tianjin late at night to the hotel.
👌The stay was made awesome and comfortable due to the impeccable and excellent service, kindness and eye for detail shown by the staff. 🥳Kudos to Ms Pang, Ms Wang , Mr.Wang and Ms Liu who made our stay even more comfortable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
👌The hotel is near the airport and is suitable for travellers who have flights at Tianjin International airport and want to avoid the commute from the city. There are restaurants downstairs as well if you arrive late and need a meal. Nearby surroundings looks like residential area so works for those looking for a quiet stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

GGuest UserI highly recommend the St. Regis Tianjin Financial Street. My stay was absolutely superb, and I must particularly commend the staff member Aiden!
Aiden was incredibly warm, attentive, and polite. Check-in was efficient and smooth, and she patiently and meticulously answered all my questions throughout the process. Any needs I had during my stay were promptly addressed. She was thoughtful and proactive, offering helpful tips for local attractions and transportation routes, consistently demonstrating a high level of professionalism.
The hotel's location is excellent, the rooms are spacious and elegant, offering stunning views of the Hai River. The living environment is comfortable and tranquil, with comprehensive and well-maintained facilities. The St. Regis truly lives up to its reputation as a high-end luxury hotel; the attentive and meticulous service made me feel exceptionally comfortable and well-cared for.
Thanks to Aiden's thoughtful service, this trip was incredibly smooth, and the experience was truly exceptional. The value for money is outstanding, and I will definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Tianjin. A big thank you once more to Aiden for her dedicated service. I wholeheartedly recommend everyone to stay here!

GGuest UserAwful, terrible and unbelievable! Extremely disappointed with this hotel!
Originally we booked another hotel in the city centre, but after considering that we only had around 18hours for the stay due to our flight connection, we decided to book a hotel nearby the airport. We booked our room that was with the window facing hallway.
When we entered, we were happy about the room's cleanliness and its new interior, although they only offered the basic amenities that were toothbrush and a hair comb. They were good enough for us as we had our own other toilet amenities like ear buds. They also offered two types of tea bags. After checking-in,
we left the room and went out. Then the nightmare started after our return.
First of all, after using the toilet, the toilet could not be flushed and was blocked. In addition, the air conditioning in the room was not giving cold air but rather only giving heat. We had to call to the reception. We understood that it was late in the night, around 1am mid night, so we expected no one would be able to fix the toilet and though we only had a few hours ie 5hrs to be in the room before checking out, reception asked us to change the room. We informed about the air conditioning as well and what we got told was we had to turn on the air conditioning for which we did. The answer was not helpful.
They changed our room to another room which was just right next door to the original one. The air conditioning situation was the same. (Photos were attached, pls note the temperature in the room) As we mentioned earlier, we had to leave hotel by 630am and we didn't bother to ask any question again. Obviously, we could not sleep due to the heat in the room.
Secondly, we left the room and went down for the pick up. Hotel offered free drop off/pick up service to/from the airport and shared with others. We appreciated that service. However, if knowing our pick up service was shared, shouldn't the hotel check in advance if the vehicle had enough space to accommodate all suitcases?? As if the hotel wanted to provide this thoughtful and heartfelt service.
No one asked when we booked the drop off service. The vehicle on that morning was only shared by another guest with his one suitcase. We could not accommodate our four suitcases including 2big and 2small suitcases. Though the driver insisted his vehicle could fit. It took time to arrange the space on that vehicle neither we would get comfortable by sitting in such limited space. We did not want the other guest to wait. We decided to call our own transport which was fine as the cost was often at a good price in China.
Lastly, knowing our departure from the hotel would cost us to miss the breakfast provided by the hotel, when we checked in, we purposely declined to receive the breakfast vouchers. However, the hotel was nice enough to provide a take away bag with breakfast for us when we checked out. But the most hilarious thing was that they only provide One breakfast and the fact that we should entitled TWO breakfast. Once again, if the hotel wanted to provide such a thoughtful and heartfelt service, they would have done the job better rather than just giving and not doing them properly neither in a much detailed efforts.
All of these led us to write our first lifetime negative comment. We hate to do it but we had to express how terrible it was on our first time visit and stay at this hotel in Tianjin.
PLS NOTE: Our room reached 30 Degrees Celsius and the so called Air Conditioning was ON.

HhightangThis is an older international hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated, but it does have an indoor swimming pool and a gym. The mattress is a bit soft, and the TV doesn't support screen casting. The shower water pressure was good, and the room itself was spacious. The hotel staff were professional and enthusiastic. The hotel's location is excellent, just across the road from Xibeijiao, and right next to Lujiazui Mall and Shuishang City Shopping Mall.

AAoaoyoudiantianWhen I came to Tianjin this time, I chose the Four Seasons over the Ritz-Carlton, seemingly because of its better location. Indeed, it's very close to Binjiang Dao, making it super convenient to walk to popular spots like Xiao Pang Bao Bing, Guxiangzhai, Zhonglihua, and Nanlou Jianbing. Of course, because it was a holiday, these places had longer queues. Next door is the IFC Mall, and opposite is Joy City, which has Sushiro, though that also had long lines. However, the room itself was quite ordinary; the facilities were definitely dated, and the toilet didn't even have a bidet. The only upside was that the room was fairly spacious, and from a high floor, you could enjoy the night view. But with ongoing construction nearby, I was woken up by noise around 6 AM every day. The room cleaning standard was even more subpar. This is the first time I've encountered a five-star hotel that doesn't replenish daily amenities after they've been used up – theoretically, you should get a fresh set every day. I'm not sure if this is hotel policy or if the cleaning staff pocketed them. The most ridiculous thing was that on the first day, the TV wouldn't even turn on, even though high-end hotels usually have a welcome screen playing. Overall, this Four Seasons feels more like a four-star hotel; next time, I'll definitely choose the Ritz-Carlton. Finally, regarding breakfast, the selection was really limited, with pretty much the same options every day. The Tianjin-style Jianbing Guozi even lacked sauce, which was honestly comical. This is the first time I've had no expectations for a hotel breakfast; it wasn't even as good as Zhonglihua's steamed bread. During check-out, no one asked about my stay experience. Well, I guess they probably know they have many flaws...

The concierge staff provided excellent guidance, and the front desk team was very welcoming. The room was fresh and spotlessly clean. The location is incredibly convenient, and the price is fantastic, offering great value for money. The overnight stay was peaceful, and free parking was a huge bonus. Plus, there are so many tourist attractions nearby, making it super easy to get around to all the sights. Overall, a very satisfying stay! I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time. Highly recommended.
