I highly recommend the Xunmei Qixi B&B! It's nestled right inside the Shilihetan Wetland Park, so you step out straight into streams and lush greenery. The environment is serene and the air is incredibly fresh – a natural oxygen bar that's truly rejuvenating. In the B&B's courtyard, there are gentle and adorable cats and dogs; these little ones are so affectionate and well-behaved, you could spend all day petting and playing with them. The vibe is absolutely perfect. The rooms are clean and tidy, with elegant soft furnishings, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer direct views of the mountains and forest, making for fantastic natural light. The owner's service is thoughtful and attentive, and breakfast is delicious. Plus, there's a book bar and lounge area, making it suitable for family trips, gatherings with friends, or even as a top choice for pet-friendly travel. I've already saved it and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Huaxi!

Our family of three had a comfortable stay. The room, though not large, was perfectly adequate, and the small balcony was a definite bonus. The biggest surprise was the soundproofing – despite being by the road, we heard almost no noise with the windows closed. The restaurant is on the second floor, and breakfast is served until noon, which is fantastic for late risers. We went at 11 AM, and most dishes were still available, though the standard sticky rice and tofu pudding were missing (a slight shame, but we'd already had them at the night market, so it was fine). The only thing I really have to complain about is the hairdryer – my wife and daughter both have long hair, and it would overheat quickly. After a 5-minute wait, it would only work for 2 minutes, making it impossible to dry long hair. I'd recommend bringing your own or asking the front desk for a different model. Aside from that, the overall value for money was good.

The hotel room was clean and well-maintained, with excellent facilities. The breakfast was plentiful, and the location offered convenient access to various attractions like Wenchang Pavilion, Jiaxiu Tower, Pen Shui Chi, Qingyun Market, and Qianling Mountain Park. The hotel staff were professional, incredibly warm, and courteous. Upon arrival, they upgraded us to a family room. When we checked out, we were rushing for our flight and accidentally left my glasses in the room. Luckily, the hotel staff promptly contacted us and even couriered the glasses to us that very afternoon, allowing us to use them without delay. A huge thank you to them! 🙏🙏🙏

Choosing the twin room at Manxuan Inn for our family trip to Qingyan Ancient Town was such a wise decision! The room had its own small living room, making it comfortable for both adults and children. The lake view of the inn truly lived up to its name; strolling along the lake and letting the kids run wild in the garden was even more pleasant than visiting tourist attractions. The complimentary ethnic costume selfie experience and afternoon tea were a delightful surprise; my wife took many beautiful photos in Miao clothing! The service was exceptionally thoughtful, making our family trip particularly enjoyable.

I was very satisfied with my stay this time. The hotel was clean and tidy overall, and the staff were enthusiastic and polite throughout, responding promptly to any requests. The room I stayed in this time was much more spacious than last time, with plenty of room to move around, making for a particularly comfortable stay. Downstairs, there's a bustling food street with a wide variety of options for all three meals and late-night snacks, making it incredibly convenient to find food. The location is excellent, and I'll definitely prioritize staying here again on my next trip.

My brief one-night stay at the Sofitel Guiyang Hunter completely shattered my preconceived notions of a city hotel. The lobby, perched on the 55th floor, is instantly recognizable, with French design subtly blending local Guizhou elements, creating an elegant yet authentically regional ambiance. I stayed in a high-floor panoramic room, where a full-length window offered breathtaking views of the Nanming River, Jiaxiu Tower, and the old city skyline. Watching the morning mist caress the buildings and the evening lights twinkle across the city was incredibly soothing. The hotel is conveniently located above the Hunter business district, offering easy access to dining and shopping, and within walking distance of several attractions. Andre at the front desk provided discreet and professional service, never intrusive but always responsive to my needs. Janice from guest relations was also incredibly thoughtful and proactive. The MyBed bedding was soft and luxurious, ensuring a comfortable and restful sleep after a day of exploring. It's a truly sophisticated choice for a stay in Guiyang.

Thanks for the wonderful stay at the end of March 2026. After a long trip through Guizhou we were absolutely delighted about the room and the services at the Holiday Inn Resort Qingyan. Breakfast offers all sorts of food, the chefs are very welcoming and offer a broad variety of soup, vegetables, bakery, cereals...whatever you wish it will be there. Don't miss the large and elegant swimming pool. Very relaxing after all the walks in Qingyan Ancient Town. The walk to the Ancient Town is very short, it leads you along the fields where farmers grow their products. Nice walk!! Just across the main Hotel entrance you will find a small shop with everything you may need - food and non-food Don't miss the close monastery with the tall pagoda! It's more than worth to see one Temple building after another surrounded by wonderful nature. All in all the Holiday Inn Resort gave us an unforgettable and relaxing time! Thanks to all Service personal, we don't know all names but would like also to mention great support by Vivian, Elena, Mia and Leo Li, who organized cheap and quick transfer to Guiyang. We will definitely come back one day!

You can even see Jiaxiu Tower right from your bed, and every photo you take will have a great vibe. 💖 Service exceeded expectations! A dedicated butler contacted us in advance, arranged pick-up and drop-off, and was on hand for luggage storage and any other needs we had. 🏠 The room amenities were incredibly thoughtful. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a standalone bathtub – perfect for relaxing after a long day of travel. They also provided a Marshall speaker, premium toiletries, and a Dyson hairdryer, making for a truly high-quality stay. Breakfast can be delivered to your room, so you can enjoy high-altitude city views with your morning tea right from your bed. The American-style cafe downstairs is super photogenic, and there are complimentary welcome fruits, coffee, and drinks. Plus, laundry and drying services are available. It's truly ideal for couples! What a hidden gem of a hotel! I was so impressed when I arrived; the scenery is absolutely stunning. You can even see the ancient town during the day. The room was fantastic, and the front desk service was amazing – they even upgraded our room type. Everything was super, and all the amenities in the room were top-notch quality. It made for a perfect day! The tea around the stove was also excellent, with a great variety. I truly recommend it, and we'll definitely be back!!

Very bad experience. Would not recommend. Right from the moment we arrived, it was disappointing. We had a lot of luggage since we were traveling from Nanning, and there was no one to receive us or guide us — just a dark alley with no staff in sight. We had to call the number listed, and even then, the person on the call had no idea where we were supposed to check in. After some confusion, we had to walk around 200 meters to a completely different hotel’s service center just to check in. Even there, the service was terrible — the staff were casually chatting on WeChat and clearly had no clue what they were doing. We waited nearly 30 minutes before they finally said we should go to another hotel nearby. They gave us a room card and we moved all our luggage there, only to get a call saying the room was already booked for the next day — so we had to move again. Thankfully, we hadn’t unpacked yet, but it was still exhausting and unacceptable. Even basic things like water bottles weren’t available — we were told they would send a message in a WeChat group and they would deliver it to the room later. Seriously? Overall, the experience was chaotic, unprofessional, and stressful. The only positive part was the security staff — they were actually helpful and polite. Everything else? Not worth it. Chinese version for locals - 整体体验非常差。我们带着很多行李到达时，居然没有任何人接待我们。该家酒店不接受办理入住，办理入住非常混乱，我们还得走到另一家酒店的服务台，等了30分钟，工作人员却不知道该怎么操作。后来我们被安排到另一家酒店的房间，结果又打电话来说那个房间已经被别人预订了，还得再换一次。连瓶装水都没有，要在微信群里发消息才会送来。唯一好的地方就是保安很热心。不推荐入住。整体体验非常差一个度假村行的酒店管理却做得如此之差，不知道是怎么经营下来的。
