"We booked two two-room apartments, first on our way to Turkey, and now on our way back. Everything was excellent, I highly recommend it. The view from the window is stunning. There were no issues with the elevators; they arrived quickly. The rooms are well-renovated, the water pressure is great, and the drainage works perfectly. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but we circled around and found a spot. It's only 200 meters to the sea. There are a lot of Russians here. The sea is cleaner at the end of the promenade, near the Nino monument. We're very happy with our stay 👍, it's an absolute steal for the price. I recommend it."

"The apartment smelt of stale smoke a lot but was relaxing and had a great view. The check-in was easy and straight forward at reception and the receptionist was kind.

"Pros: I'd give the hotel a solid five stars for its views and location. The view from the window was truly stunning, and the location was perfect – everything was within walking distance. A special thanks for the free luggage storage, which was a huge help on check-out day.
Cons: We booked four rooms for a group of friends. Unfortunately, we were spread across different floors, and the rooms turned out to be of completely different categories (even though we paid the same price for all). When my friends came to my room, they compared the conditions and were quite disappointed. I wish they would inform guests about the differences in rooms or try to place groups closer together when booking. Otherwise, everything else was good."

AAnonymous UserLe Méridien Batumi, Batumi's most luxurious hotel, charges nearly 2,000 yuan per night, but the actual experience was deeply disappointing.
First, the room's soundproofing was extremely poor. On our check-in night, from around midnight until after 2 a.m., the noise from the square below and the disco music were clearly audible in the room, severely disrupting our rest.
Second, the service promises were unfulfilled. After negotiating with the hotel through the platform, they promised to upgrade us to two rooms on the other side of the building the next day. However, upon returning to the hotel the following afternoon, we were told that only one upgraded room was available, and the hotel offered no apology.
Furthermore, housekeeping was extremely perfunctory. After the room was cleaned, not only were new floor towels and slippers not provided, but the balcony ashtray still contained trash from the previous night. After repeated requests, the slippers were finally delivered, but they were of extremely poor quality, falling apart immediately after use, and completely different from the authentic slippers with the hotel logo provided on our first night. Such poor hardware and service levels hardly justify its ”luxury” positioning and exorbitant room rates. We can't help but wonder: On what basis did Ctrip use to rate such an unworthy hotel as ”No. 1 on the Batumi Luxury List”?

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel! They made my birthday extra special by welcoming me with complimentary wine, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The location is great, and I especially loved the view from the balcony – absolutely beautiful! The breakfast was delicious with a good variety, and the staff were all friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommend!

MM413961****It's a typical apartment-style hotel, with a washing machine with a dryer, a kitchen, and four bottles of water in the refrigerator. The three of us booked a large suite, so big it almost scared me. Staying in an apartment hotel for a day during a trip to do laundry is quite convenient. Location-wise, it's very close to major attractions within walking distance. For those driving, it has its own underground parking garage on extremely congested roads, which is quite good. However, you have to call the front desk every time you open or close the garage. Also, driving into this parking garage requires some skill, as you have to navigate very narrow lanes lined with parked cars. Batumi isn't really suitable for driving. We parked our car in the garage as soon as we arrived and relied on walking and taxis.

NNATAMIKIThe location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Old Batumi. Excellent value for money. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and homely; the moment you step inside, you instantly feel cared for and experience genuine hospitality. The owner personally greets guests, and at breakfast, complimentary homemade white and red wine is served, along with watermelons, melons, and khachapuri – there's always plenty of everything. You don't feel like you're staying in a hotel; rather, you feel like you're visiting friends. And breakfast on the terrace? That's a whole different story – better than any observation deck!

My friend had originally booked an apartment on ***********, but upon arrival, discovered their reservation had been canceled due to overbooking. We ended up booking the Hilton last-minute on Trip.com, and the service was excellent. The rooms at the Hilton were reassuringly good.

MMenPelmenI visited during the off-season in December. This place is essentially a concrete jungle, unlike anything I've ever seen. I can't imagine what it's like during peak season, but I was lucky.
I encountered several issues:
- The administrator didn't send me check-in information the day before arrival, as agreed.
- My room didn't have an AC remote, and without it, the room was very cold. Plus, it was dusty, but the admin offered to switch my room.
- In the new room, the balcony door didn't close properly, leading to noise and cold. Also, the internet, which I needed for work video conferences, wasn't working well. So, I had to go back to the old room.
- My key stopped opening the room on the second day, forcing me to wait in a long line at reception at an inconvenient time.
- The shower gel provided is a hair killer. No shampoo is given, so it's better to buy your own.
However, all these issues were mitigated by the price and the fact that the administrator was always reachable. Overall, it was comfortable to stay in the room.

BBuerderenLocated in the new district of Batumi, it's close to the airport but a few kilometers from the old town. However, Batumi's traffic is extremely congested; it took us over an hour to travel just a few kilometers in the afternoon. The city's management is truly terrible.
The room was small but fairly clean. It's very close to the beach. Because our flight was in the morning, we hadn't had breakfast, and there was a 50 baht deposit required to borrow an umbrella.

EELENAWe really enjoyed our stay. True, there were some difficulties with check-in upon arrival, because we did not receive check-in instructions. It is imperative to contact the property in advance and then everything will be fine.
The location is very convenient, the views are stunning! The air conditioner works for heat, the room quickly warmed up, the cool weather did not bother us. The room has everything you need. Considering that these are apartments, cleaning is not provided. You also take out the trash yourself. There are many containers near the house, everything is convenient.
Every morning at 9-00 breakfast was delivered to the room. Different every day. Salad of fresh vegetables with an omelet, or sausages, or buckwheat, or boiled eggs. A bag of tea and coffee.
Thanks to the hosts, we liked everything.👍

SSaumyaleo31We stayed at Sheraton Batumi Hotel expecting the standard of a global 5-star luxury chain. Unfortunately, while the location is beautiful, the overall experience fell far below expectations.
The property’s location, right in front of the beach, is stunning. The views are lovely and the building itself looks impressive. Sadly, the service and operational quality did not match the pricing or brand promise.
Here were the key concerns:
1. Language & Service Gaps
For a luxury, premium-priced international hotel, it was surprising that several staff members struggled to understand basic English. This made even simple requests unnecessarily complicated.
2. Inedible Food on Day 1
On the day we checked in, we ordered a ciabatta pesto sandwich. The ciabatta was so hard it was impossible to chew. It literally sounded like knocking on wood. We had to remove and eat only the filling. This is basic food quality control that should not fail in a 5-star property.
3. Repeated WiFi Failures
Within an hour of check-in, the WiFi stopped working. I had official calls to attend, yet even after 2–3 hours, the issue wasn’t resolved. The next day, the WiFi again went down for 2–3 hours. In a hospitality business today, reliable internet is non-negotiable. There also seemed to be no backup plan or proactive communication.
4. Shower Head Burst - No QC?
The following morning, the shower head burst while in use, flooding the bathroom. My belongings got wet and it completely disrupted the morning. When a room is marked “ready,” basic quality checks should ensure fixtures are functional.
5. Breakfast Quality Below Standard
The breakfast buffet was largely cold. Vegetarian options were extremely limited. Even the falafel was undercooked. The omelette was overly oily. At the very least, for a globally known chain, one Indian option or more diverse vegetarian choices would have been appreciated.
6. Room Service Delays
Ordering water to the room took nearly an hour and required four calls. That level of delay for something so basic is difficult to justify.
Overall, while the location is excellent, the service standards, food quality, maintenance checks, and responsiveness did not align with what one expects from a Sheraton property.
For the price paid, this was not a luxury experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on operational consistency, staff training, and basic quality control.

CChessmasterI have spent there 4 days. Check-in 15:00, rather late. Check-out until 11:00, its early, be ready for that as well. The apartments are on the 4th floor of the Steps building. I have arrived by plane. The time to get from the airport to the apartments building is about 40 minutes by foot. Or you may take a bus, though its unclear to me how you may pay it the bus without Batumi card that I had. The weather was rainy about 75% of time. Its a typical winter in Batumi. The wifi was working in apartments well. The cleaning done was every day or at least you are asked whether you need that or not. You need to wait quite some time until hot water at the shower starts. Due to bad weather my plane was postponed. The host did not help me with dealing with it, he just wanted to take 30$ whilst we agreed previously on 13$ by 1 more night by phone. So I had to figure out my new plane ticket and leave in a hurry.
