"My husband booked this accommodation for my friend and me. On July 27, 2026, I checked into my standard room with a sea view. ATTENTION! Room 30-20. The absolute worst! First, there was a terrible smell from the sewage system! There was water on the bathroom floor! The toilet door wouldn't close because the door frame was swollen from the water! The toilet tank was leaking and wouldn't refill. The furniture in the room was cheap and outdated! The phone didn't work, so I couldn't contact reception to call an ambulance for my friend, who was feeling unwell! The TV didn't work. The room was dark because the balcony was cornered with dark glass, and there was only one small window to get some air; you couldn't breathe on the balcony. After 2 days, I decided to complain about all the shortcomings of this room, after which it was immediately changed to 31-08. This room finally matched the pictures on the website and my expectations. The room was bright, with working plumbing, furniture, and appliances. The balcony was open and spacious. The air conditioning worked, as did the TV. Why couldn't they have assigned me to a room that matched what I paid for initially? The service was disgusting! In the first few days, I asked for a drying rack for the room for 2 days! They promised but brought nothing! Also, a technician came to the first room to fix the phone but never actually fixed it. There can be queues for the elevator, and you might wait 10 minutes. The soundproofing in the rooms is also very poor. If you don't want to ruin your vacation, don't go to Batumi at all! And Courtyard is not the best place to stay in this city."

"My wife and I stayed here from May 3rd to 8th, 2026. It's a good hotel with an excellent location. We had a room with a sea view, which was absolutely the best. The breakfasts were delicious. However, you have to specifically request toothbrushes, and sometimes they forget to bring them. Also, the exhaust fan downstairs makes a constant, loud humming noise."

"We had issues during check-in. We had booked a suite for a family of four – two adults and two children aged 7 and 12. Upon entering the room, we realized there were no beds for the children. The front desk promised to resolve the issue once, then twice, then three times, and by the fourth time, we had to get assertive. Eventually, sleeping arrangements were made for everyone, but it took us 7 hours of constant reminding. Overall, it's a great hotel with good breakfasts, a gym, and an indoor pool. The cleaning is good, and the staff is polite."

"We stayed at Sheraton Batumi Hotel expecting the standard of a global 5-star luxury chain. Unfortunately, while the location is beautiful, the overall experience fell far below expectations. The property’s location, right in front of the beach, is stunning. The views are lovely and the building itself looks impressive. Sadly, the service and operational quality did not match the pricing or brand promise. Here were the key concerns: 1. Language & Service Gaps For a luxury, premium-priced international hotel, it was surprising that several staff members struggled to understand basic English. This made even simple requests unnecessarily complicated. 2. Inedible Food on Day 1 On the day we checked in, we ordered a ciabatta pesto sandwich. The ciabatta was so hard it was impossible to chew. It literally sounded like knocking on wood. We had to remove and eat only the filling. This is basic food quality control that should not fail in a 5-star property. 3. Repeated WiFi Failures Within an hour of check-in, the WiFi stopped working. I had official calls to attend, yet even after 2–3 hours, the issue wasn’t resolved. The next day, the WiFi again went down for 2–3 hours. In a hospitality business today, reliable internet is non-negotiable. There also seemed to be no backup plan or proactive communication. 4. Shower Head Burst - No QC? The following morning, the shower head burst while in use, flooding the bathroom. My belongings got wet and it completely disrupted the morning. When a room is marked “ready,” basic quality checks should ensure fixtures are functional. 5. Breakfast Quality Below Standard The breakfast buffet was largely cold. Vegetarian options were extremely limited. Even the falafel was undercooked. The omelette was overly oily. At the very least, for a globally known chain, one Indian option or more diverse vegetarian choices would have been appreciated. 6. Room Service Delays Ordering water to the room took nearly an hour and required four calls. That level of delay for something so basic is difficult to justify. Overall, while the location is excellent, the service standards, food quality, maintenance checks, and responsiveness did not align with what one expects from a Sheraton property. For the price paid, this was not a luxury experience. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on operational consistency, staff training, and basic quality control."

"When I first arrived in Georgia, the front desk was very friendly. I upgraded my suite when I checked in. The hotel restaurant has delicious traditional Georgian dishes, as well as local red wine. The charge is reasonable and the dining is comfortable."

"The hotel is in a great location, very close to the beach, but there's basically no service. No one helped with luggage when I checked in. The room was very small, and there were no toothbrushes provided. It took over half an hour to send one over the phone. The front desk was interrupting me the entire time I checked in and was not very friendly. The hotel looks high-rise, but it actually has only five floors. The windows of the single-numbered rooms on the first floor face the wall, so you can't see the sun during the day. The breakfast is very average. Don't consider this hotel when you come to Batumi. It's not cost-effective."

"The hotel is located in the old town. The location is excellent!! The rooms are relatively large and clean, the breakfast is normal, but monotonous, nothing has changed for 3 days, and cappuccino coffee is available for an additional fee... The SPA and pool are terrible (I took the hotel only because of the SPA) VERY DISAPPOINTED!! The pool is small and the water is cold, stuffy and unpleasant!!! When we checked in, there were no towels, and when we asked they said only an hour later🤔 There were three of us and they brought everything for two!!! (towels, water, shampoo, slippers, etc.) In general, the impression was not pleasant, for that kind of money you could have rented something more decent... I will never recommend it to my friends!!!"

"Не соответствует 5* звезда, максимум тянет на 3*. Дружелюбный персонал, который делает всё наполовину. Ужасное обслуживание у бассейна, плохое обслуживание в номерах. Не меняли белье и халаты , тапочки в течение 11 дней. Уборщица делает замечание и хамит постояльцам в СПА. Подушки гигантские, спать не аозиожно. Выбора подушек нет. В ресторане отеля получили сильное отравление, скорее всего мясом. По ночам музыка в бассейне не отключается. Орёт, спать не возможно. Во время пребывания возник пожар, персонал отеля очень старался, однако было видно, что он не обучен действовать в чрезвычайных ситуациях, а руководство отеля даже не потрудились принести извинения перед постояльцами. Каждый день этот отель преподносил неприятные сюрпризы. Никому не советую ехать в этот отель."

"There are many hotels in Batumi, but few are new, so there are not many choices. Overall, I am satisfied. The staff are very warm and polite. The room is large and has a view of the sea. You can see the changes in the sea water in the morning. The breakfast is very average, not many choices, but after leaving the hotel, walk straight and turn right to find the architectural MacDonald. Batumi is very fun. You should stay a few more days and enjoy it slowly. It will be unforgettable."
