The location is excellent for enjoying the old city. During the day, you can walk around peacefully to all the attractions without crowds. At night, it's lively and bustling with people, but you don't need to go far to see the river, bridges, boats, and musical performers floating by, all beautifully lit up. You step out of the hotel and you're right in the middle of the action! 😂 There are several nightclubs with loud music, but by 11:30 PM, it's completely silent, so you'll sleep well. Our room was on the top floor; there's no elevator, just two flights of stairs. The attic-style ceiling is a bit low, so you have to be careful not to hit your head. The river view is nice, and the bathroom is comfortable. The space is just right, encouraging you to spend most of your time outside. The bed is comfortable, and the sheets and towels are good quality and looked new. It's a great option for a day in Fenghuang. They pick you up and take you to the train station, but you need to contact them in advance. It's highly recommended as Didi doesn't work in Fenghuang, taxis charge whatever they want, and cars can't reach the hotel directly, only a parking lot. The hotel staff will help you with your luggage on the walk to the accommodation.

Guest UserThe B&B has such a healing vibe. The wooden decor combined with Miao ethnic elements creates a cozy yet stylish atmosphere. In the evening, I sat at the little pub downstairs, and the night breeze carried Miao folk songs through the ancient town, which felt almost magical. It was a perfect experience of Western Hunan's charm, I absolutely loved it!

Liaw Meng BingWords cannot express how much we appreciate the service provided by this hotel. From start to finish, everything was handled with exceptional care and professionalism.
The room was squeaky clean, comfortable and very well maintained. The location is perfect—within walking distance of the main attractions of Fenghuang Ancient City, yet far enough from the busiest areas to provide a peaceful and relaxing place to rest. Unlike hotels located deep inside the scenic area, this hotel is accessible by car, making it much more convenient when travelling with luggage.
What truly sets this hotel apart is its outstanding staff. After we checked out, I realized I had left my jacket in the room. 姚姚 went above and beyond by arranging the courier delivery and personally contacting our next hotel in Changsha to ensure the package would be received. We are also grateful to driver 小吴 for taking us to the train station and helping with our luggage. There were many other staff members who assisted us throughout our stay, and although we do not know all their names, every one of them was friendly, attentive and helpful.
The team consistently went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

Guest UserThis guesthouse is incredibly warm and inviting. As someone who's never stayed in a guesthouse before, my first blind booking turned out to be a hidden gem! The room layout is bright, clean, and tidy, and the owners are incredibly nice. The staff are also fantastic. My short three-day trip to Fenghuang felt as warm as being at home. You can tell this place is run with a lot of care. On my second day, I had gastroenteritis and missed breakfast. Worried about ordering takeout, I planned to use the guesthouse kitchen to cook some noodles. The staff thoughtfully prepared it for me and even brought it to my room. Every evening after sightseeing, there were chilled desserts or iced watermelon waiting. I'm already planning to bring my kids for a family trip next time. I highly, highly recommend this guesthouse!

Guest UserThe location is absolutely fantastic! It's right by the Tuojiang River, just a few minutes' walk to Hongqiao Bridge and the ancient town's streets. This makes exploring and dining incredibly convenient, and you don't have to lug your luggage far. I booked a panoramic river view room, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unobstructed view of the river. In the morning, you can open the window to see stilted houses enveloped in mist and the river flowing serenely. In the evening, the sunset colors the river, and at night, the lanterns on both banks light up, their reflections dancing on the water. You can enjoy the entire ancient town's night view right from your bed. The ambiance is just incredible, and every photo you take looks professional. Plus, the hotel even provides free traditional clothing, and the service attitude is excellent!

Anonymous UserI have to commend the front desk service. The ladies at the hotel front desk and other staff members were all wonderful. Whenever we had a request, they were quick to respond and resolved everything efficiently. They were very considerate of guests' feelings, and every time we passed the front desk, they would greet us warmly. What touched me the most was when they arranged a car to take us to the high-speed train station.

BiewenwoshishuiThis hotel boasts ample parking space with EV charging stations, which is a huge plus for self-driving travelers. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the bedding is soft and dry, making for a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff and concierge were exceptionally friendly and thoughtful, offering to help with our luggage. Seeing that we had a child, they even thoughtfully upgraded our room to one with two king-size beds, which was wonderfully spacious and comfortable for our family.
The complimentary breakfast offered a wide variety of options and tasted great. The hotel's location is unbeatable, right next to the ancient city scenic area. A short walk through a small alley takes you directly to the riverside promenade, making exploring the ancient city incredibly convenient. After a tiring day of sightseeing, we also enjoyed the complimentary herbal foot bath provided by the hotel, which really helped us unwind. Overall, the value for money is excellent. This is our top choice for travel, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!

The room was fantastic, exactly as recommended online. The owner was incredibly kind, helping with our luggage. The price was also very reasonable. The hotel itself has a wonderful antique charm, and best of all, you get a direct view of the Tuojiang River. There's even a parking lot right in front, which was super convenient. I even exchanged WeChat with the owner before leaving, so I can book directly next time!

LiuxiaojiegThe biggest surprise of my Fenghuang Ancient City trip was definitely this riverside B&B! The location is superb – it's tucked away from the hustle and bustle but still just a few minutes' walk to Hongqiao Bridge, making it incredibly convenient for getting around.
The river-view room I booked had an unbeatable view, with floor-to-ceiling windows directly overlooking the Tuojiang River. In the morning, opening the window revealed a misty river with stilt houses faintly visible, like a traditional Chinese ink painting. At night, the lights twinkled, and the river's reflection shimmered with colors – I could enjoy the night view right from my bed.
The room was clean and tidy, with a cozy yet stylish vibe thanks to the wooden decor combined with ethnic elements. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, fully equipped with smart facilities.
The owner and staff were incredibly warm and attentive. They arranged airport/station pickup in advance, patiently explained sightseeing routes, and recommended authentic local food. The entire experience was fantastic.
Sitting on the balcony, feeling the river breeze, and listening to the sound of flowing water was so relaxing and therapeutic. This place offers incredible value for money. You absolutely won't regret staying here when you visit Fenghuang. Highly recommended!

Guest UserThe entire experience here truly shows the owner's thoughtful dedication. The room was clean and tidy, and the location is absolutely fantastic, right by the river. Being centrally located, it's super convenient for sightseeing. They offer a diverse breakfast in the morning, and in the afternoon, you can enjoy a lovely high tea by the riverside, just sitting and taking in the view. Downstairs, there's a cozy bar that offers a unique 'day coffee, night drinks' experience, which I absolutely loved. You can leisurely sip coffee during the day and unwind with a drink in the evening, all while enjoying the river view – it's incredibly relaxing. The service was warm, attentive, and incredibly thorough, taking care of every little detail. It’s a one-stop-shop for dining, accommodation, and entertainment, offering great value for money. Staying here for my trip to Fenghuang was perfect, and I'll definitely choose this place again if I come back!
