This B&B is located downstream from the scenic area, so it's quiet and peaceful, allowing you to really experience local life. It's also a nice stroll back to the B&B after seeing the night views. The value for money is excellent; if you're too tired to walk, a taxi ride is a bargain at just 8 yuan. Being downstream from the scenic area actually has an advantage: it's close to residential areas, so the breakfast spots and restaurants nearby aren't just geared towards tourists. We asked the B&B owner for recommendations and he suggested a restaurant just a few minutes away that we ended up eating at twice – definitely recommend it. Don't waste time searching on social media; just ask the owner where they usually eat!

I brought my family to Fenghuang Ancient City this time and chose this panoramic B&B. The experience truly exceeded my expectations! It's located right next to Wanming Pagoda, and you can drive directly to the building's entrance. Although there are dozens of steps to climb to get in, the owner was incredibly nice, actively helping us with our luggage and thoughtfully reminding us that the steps were quite steep. The room's view was absolutely stunning, offering a 270-degree unobstructed panorama of the Tuojiang River and the ancient city's nightscape. You can enjoy the scenery right from your bed, and waking up to the glittering river surface when you open the curtains in the morning was incredibly therapeutic. The cats in the courtyard were also adorable, and the proprietress even recommended some delicious noodle shops nearby. It was a really comfortable stay, and I genuinely recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy beautiful views!

What a nice experience. The room was exquisite. We loved the terrace. The seats were very comfortable and we had a great view. Cherry on top we could see a fantastic show at night. We could also enjoy the sight of the dragon boat at night. Bare in mind that there is no pickup from the train station. But you can take the subway and they'll come and pick you up. If your party counts 4 members, I recommend taking a cab or a didi (just like the hotel recommended us). That said, we were given free rides to visit the city. They can also arrange a car for you to visit other sites (paying service). We had huge and high quality towels as well as disposable hand towels. The toilet was a washlet like the ones we have in Japan. The hotel was very clean. Unfortunately, they were some remodeling going on on the first floor when we stayed there and the smell of the solvent was unpleasant. They did not have enough sitting to accommodate proper sitting for everyone but we took our breakfast up to our private terrace and enjoyed it very much. The breakfast is a set breakfast. We could choose between 2 types of Chinese breakfast. I can't say that I loved the breakfast but it was nice. You can arrange it with many sauces, condiments and plenty of fresh chives and cilantro. You can even ask for seconds. The butler was very kind and helpful, as well as the rest of the staff as a matter of fact. They also have a washing machine that you can use for free but you have to take care of the drying yourself. My family and I got sick from a previous food intoxication and we were happy that we stayed in such a nice hotel. Fenghuang old city is very festive so it can get noisy at night but the terrace's windows are of very good quality, therefore it did not bother us much. It is possible that you can hear your neighbors though. All in all, despite being sick we had a wonderful experience at this hotel. We were happily surprised to receive a farewell gift. We definitely recommend the place and we go back to this hotel without hesitation.

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay with a beautiful view of the snow bridge. The place has two connecting rooms via the balcony, and my kids really enjoyed staying here. The location is excellent and very convenient. The host was very kind, waited for us at the carpark, and took us to his homestay, and can help arrange transportation if needed. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I highly recommend this hotel! The location is truly exceptional; you can reach the riverside in just a 1-minute walk, which is perfect for morning and evening strolls and enjoying the river views. The room is clean and tidy, the environment is quiet and comfortable, and the service is thoughtful and attentive. Huge thanks to the lovely lady who checked me in; she was so kind and helpful. The room itself was really comfortable, spacious, and thankfully, had no strange smells. The bedding was incredibly cozy, and the pillows were just right – not too soft, not too firm. I'll definitely be staying here again next time!

Tucked away in a quiet spot, yet super close to the ancient city. The owner was incredibly welcoming, even upgraded our room and included breakfast! The noodles the breakfast lady made were really good too. They had the AC on for us before we arrived, which was a lifesaver for us northerners who get cold easily, and it worked perfectly. The facilities were complete, and the bedding was super comfy. The service was absolutely impeccable!

We had such a great stay here! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had such a beautiful view. The staff were incredibly sweet and kind, and always ready to help us with anything we needed. Even with the language barrier, they made everything easy and were always available when we had questions. The location is also super convenient, especially being close to the railway station, and they even helped us get taxis which made things so much smoother. Right outside the hotel, there were also so many local restaurants with really delicious food, which made it even better. Our balcony view honestly felt like something out of a movie right by the river with performances happening and lots of cute little shops around. We felt really welcomed the whole time and would definitely stay here again!

The facilities in the room are very average, but it is located in a small scenic area within the scenic area, which saves the 50 yuan entrance fee per person. The night view from there is very beautiful at night. It is recommended not to bring a suitcase, but just pack some clothes and necessities, because the room is on the mountain and it is inconvenient to carry too many things.

Being centrally located, it's super convenient for sightseeing. They offer a diverse breakfast in the morning, and in the afternoon, you can enjoy a lovely high tea by the riverside, just sitting and taking in the view. Downstairs, there's a cozy bar that offers a unique 'day coffee, night drinks' experience, which I absolutely loved. You can leisurely sip coffee during the day and unwind with a drink in the evening, all while enjoying the river view – it's incredibly relaxing. The service was warm, attentive, and incredibly thorough, taking care of every little detail. It’s a one-stop-shop for dining, accommodation, and entertainment, offering great value for money. Staying here for my trip to Fenghuang was perfect, and I'll definitely choose this place again if I come back!
