I compared over a dozen B&Bs in Fenghuang Ancient Town, and this one absolutely has the best location in the entire city! It offers a unique panoramic view of the whole ancient town, with no buildings obstructing the view. From the room balcony or courtyard, you can fully overlook the entire Tuojiang River and the stilt houses of the ancient town. Hongqiao Bridge and Wanning Pagoda are right within reach – it's definitely the top choice for sightseeing in Fenghuang Ancient Town! This is the only B&B in town with an unobstructed panoramic view; the location is superb. The rooms are spacious and grand, and the cleanliness is impeccable. All the facilities in the room are well-maintained and functional. After enjoying the complete night view of Tuojiang Ancient Town, I'll definitely stay here again next time!

[Shuiyun Yaju Wubridge Store] - Living in a Jiangnan Ink Painting on the Tuojiang River The location is superb, right by Wubridge, much quieter than the Hongqiao side. Opening the window reveals the Tuojiang River, with views of Yunbridge and Wubridge. In the mornings, when the river is foggy, it's especially ethereal. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Our third-floor river-view room offered an unbeatable view. The owner and staff are incredibly warm and helpful, offering pickup and drop-off services and providing local tips. Today, it rained, and they even drove me to the Maglev station, which I truly appreciated. If you love peace and quiet and want to experience the charm of the ancient town, this is the perfect place. It's convenient for exploring the old town during the day, and at night, you can stroll around Wubridge and fall asleep to the sound of the water. This is the slow pace of life Fenghuang should offer. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

I originally just booked a room, but ended up inviting friends for a spontaneous KTV session at the hotel. It was a fantastic experience! The KTV room had excellent ventilation, so it never felt stuffy or smoky. The large screen had clear picture quality, and the microphones had plenty of battery life. The selection of snacks and drinks was extensive, and the prices were very reasonable with no hidden markups. The soundproofing was exceptional – absolutely no worries about disturbing other guests. The service was attentive; they greeted us warmly when we arrived and left, and any minor equipment issues were immediately addressed and fixed. The environment was comfortable, the equipment worked perfectly, and overall, I was extremely satisfied!

The B&B is located in the lower reaches of Tuojiang River, away from the noisy bar area. It is very quiet whether it is night or day in the ancient city. There are many small bridges and flowing water around, which are suitable for taking pictures in Miao costumes. There is a cruise ship pier downstairs (but it seems to be closed). The room is quite comfortable and spacious, and there is a free pick-up service to the station, which is very convenient. The service at the front desk is also very enthusiastic~

The entire experience here truly shows the owner's thoughtful dedication. The room was clean and tidy, and the location is absolutely fantastic, right by the river. Being centrally located, it's super convenient for sightseeing. They offer a diverse breakfast in the morning, and in the afternoon, you can enjoy a lovely high tea by the riverside, just sitting and taking in the view. Downstairs, there's a cozy bar that offers a unique 'day coffee, night drinks' experience, which I absolutely loved. You can leisurely sip coffee during the day and unwind with a drink in the evening, all while enjoying the river view – it's incredibly relaxing. The service was warm, attentive, and incredibly thorough, taking care of every little detail. It’s a one-stop-shop for dining, accommodation, and entertainment, offering great value for money. Staying here for my trip to Fenghuang was perfect, and I'll definitely choose this place again if I come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this homestay with a beautiful view of the snow bridge. The place has two connecting rooms via the balcony, and my kids really enjoyed staying here. The location is excellent and very convenient. The host was very kind, waited for us at the carpark, and took us to his homestay, and can help arrange transportation if needed. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Huge thanks to the lovely lady who checked me in; she was so kind and helpful. The room itself was really comfortable, spacious, and thankfully, had no strange smells. The bedding was incredibly cozy, and the pillows were just right – not too soft, not too firm. I'll definitely be staying here again next time!

The environment here is fantastic! The hotel room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a beautiful decor. Each room has a unique name, and we absolutely loved ours, 'Jian Shan' (Seeing the Mountain). It's very close to the old town center, yet the guesthouse surroundings were completely quiet. Plus, there's an elevator, which was super convenient! As for the service, the guesthouse owner was wonderful. They contacted us beforehand to arrange airport/station transfers. The restaurant they recommended was so good that my friend and I ate there two days in a row! They even brought us fresh fruit on the day we checked in. The breakfast at the guesthouse was amazing, especially the rice noodles – absolutely delicious!

We had such a great stay here! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and had such a beautiful view. The staff were incredibly sweet and kind, and always ready to help us with anything we needed. Even with the language barrier, they made everything easy and were always available when we had questions. The location is also super convenient, especially being close to the railway station, and they even helped us get taxis which made things so much smoother. Right outside the hotel, there were also so many local restaurants with really delicious food, which made it even better. Our balcony view honestly felt like something out of a movie right by the river with performances happening and lots of cute little shops around. We felt really welcomed the whole time and would definitely stay here again!

I decided to stay at the hotel spontaneously, passing by. The name ”Palace” and the grand entrance were off-putting. The price on Trip was reasonable, though twice as expensive as the riverside rooms. I even thought it was a very good price, considering breakfast was included. They didn't offer me any upgrades, even though the hotel was empty. The only employee didn't understand for a long time that the reservation had arrived and been paid. Then he didn't understand for a long time when I asked about breakfast. I must say, the employees themselves are very friendly and try their best, but the management is completely incompetent in running the hotel. They don't even have a translator installed on WeChat, and in response to my messages, they kept repeating, ”I don't understand you.” I spent a long time trying to find out about breakfast, and I had to contact Trip support. Trip confirmed breakfast, and the chat also said ok, from 8 to 10 AM. After 7 PM, the employee completely disappeared, leaving only a security guard who only smiles and says yes, yes. The lights are out, so we had to use a flashlight to navigate the stairs. I went out for breakfast at 9 a.m. this morning. Ha, another employee claimed they don't serve breakfast at all! I asked why he lied? He replied that the ”owner” had ordered a whopping 20 yuan in compensation for breakfast! I used that to buy a cup of coffee... I even needed more for noodles! So, I got a one for service. For lying! I must say, I was delighted with the glass house! It's high up on a mountain, with stairs, but I don't have luggage, so that wasn't a problem for me. Panoramic views, silence, birds. The bed was very comfortable, the linens were the softest, the blanket was warm. The air conditioner was good, quiet, powerful, and the windows had mosquito nets. The shower and bathroom fixtures were clean, although not new. I slept like an angel. I have to give credit to the girls who clean the rooms. Everything was beautifully laid out, cleaned, and looked great. But the toilet flush, which didn't work, and the dirty shower drain—those were the work of men who apparently don't run the hotel. All these shortcomings were outweighed by the impression I got from the place and the city in general. I also really liked the cottage itself; it's technologically advanced and comfortable.
