📍Wuzhen Scenic Area A highly recommended hotel! It's super convenient, just a 2-minute drive from the West Scenic Zone, and they offer a very thoughtful shuttle service. The dining is a major highlight; it's not your typical buffet. Instead, they prepare authentic local specialties tailored to your preferences. Then there's the ambiance and culture: the unique portrait of 'Zaki Lamu, the ******* Goddess of Wealth' is a must-take photo op! Many small items in the hotel, from the raw materials to the DIY designed furniture and ornaments, are personally selected and crafted by the owner. Plus, there's a really impressive sound system. The rocking horse is a big hit with the kids, and the treasure-filled 4th floor has an art studio that's quite an eye-opener. Each room has different furniture, and the beds are all made from antique boat wood, giving each room a unique style. Some small decorations in the rooms are also DIY. It's not quite a guesthouse but not quite a club, and definitely not a club but not quite a guesthouse – truly one-of-a-kind and highly recommended!

I have a soft spot for guesthouses, and this one I chose in Wuzhen was excellent. I absolutely loved its Jiangnan-style decor. It's very close to the scenic area. The owner is a young, handsome guy who is super warm and chatty. The breakfast was also very rich. I regret not taking more photos of the guesthouse. Oh, and the souvenir the owner gave us was a local specialty, which was delicious! My wife particularly loved it. After checking out, we went back to the guesthouse, and the owner gave us another big bag. A big thank you again to the handsome owner!

The place is 4mn walking to the west scenic area entrance. Very convenient to come back after a magical night boat tour. Our room was very peaceful with a view over a small canal and trees, we could hear birds singing. The bed was very confortable and the stunning design bath tub in the room was much appreciated to relax after walking all day. Mr.Ya at reception was very helpful and easy to communicate with. he arranged an affordable transportation for us directly to Shanghai airport and he facilitated a late check-out so we could take a shower before departure. Thank you for making our trip to Wu Zhen an extraordinary experience!

I was very satisfied with my stay. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast offered a rich variety of options. Some of the chefs also spoke English, which was a plus. It would be even better if the menu for dishes and drinks included English translations. The hotel's proximity to the high-speed rail station made getting around incredibly convenient.

Very comfortable and cozy room. They even turned on the heating beforehand, which was a nice touch. The room was also very clean, quiet, and well-equipped with everything I needed.

The courtyard is quiet and tranquil, away from the bustling crowds of the ancient town, offering a strong sense of relaxation. 2. Room Experience The overall design is a minimalist, natural wood style. The rooms are spacious, and most come with a balcony or a small courtyard. The bedding and bathroom amenities are of high quality. The rooms are treated for moisture, ensuring a dry and comfortable stay. The soundproofing is also good, guaranteeing a peaceful night's rest. 3. Service & Thoughtful Details (including souvenir) The staff are friendly and enthusiastic, proactively explaining sightseeing routes and tips to avoid common tourist pitfalls. Basic services such as luggage handling, taxi booking, and parking are all well-executed. Upon departure, guests receive a local specialty souvenir (mostly Wuzhen pastries, tea bags, or cultural and creative small items), which adds a wonderful touch of ceremony and is incredibly thoughtful, significantly boosting overall satisfaction.

1. Location - Very convenient and near the old city, dining is within 5-10 minutes walk, the bus to Hangzhou is also near, the entrance to Wuzhen scenic area is very near. 2. Room - the toilet smell of urine and I wanted to wash the smell away but there was no waste hole. Probably the housekeeper just mopped the toilet. The next day the smell cleared. AirCon is good especially on a very warm and humid day. 3. Front desk - helpful on directions and advise on buying entrance tickets, tips, and also how to buy the bus ticket to Hangzhou.

We chose Puyuan for this trip and booked a hotel in the scenic area. The environment is great. I would especially like to praise the housekeeper Xiao Yinxing Xiaoyao. After the reservation was successful, he took the initiative to contact me, carefully asked about my needs and arrival time, and helped me plan the tour route in advance. During my stay, whether I wanted to recommend a restaurant or learn about tourist attractions, the housekeeper always helped me solve the problem quickly and considerately. The guest room is even more of a surprise, with exquisite decoration, warm layout, soft and comfortable bedding, and impeccable hygiene. In particular, the room has a small space for playing chess and drinking tea. Today, I can see the beautiful scenery of the scenic area outside the window, and my mood is instantly happy. The dining environment is also great, the restaurant is elegant, the breakfast is rich in variety, and there are both local specialties and Western meals. The Chinese restaurant we chose for dinner not only tasted good but also had fresh ingredients. There are few people in the scenic area, so the photos are particularly good. Coming back to the hotel after playing is like returning to a warm home. Next time I come, I will choose this place again and recommend it to my friends!

Choosing Alila was choosing a journey of self-discovery. Away from the city's hustle and bustle, the tranquility here allows you to hear your own heartbeat, leaving all worries behind. It's not just a stay; it's a healing retreat for the mind and body. They even offered a complimentary travel photography service during check-in! The photographer, Teacher Li Li, was excellent and captured the perfect mood. The makeup artist did a super delicate and photo-ready look. The whole team was very professional and I'm extremely satisfied~

It is just outside the Xizha Scenic Area, about 200 meters away. The boss is from Chongqing, Sichuan and Chongqing are one family, and we had a good chat with everyone along the way. It is very convenient to have lunch downstairs. Hotel guests can get 12% off for meals. It would be better if breakfast could be sold, but it is also very convenient. There is a breakfast shop opposite the hotel, but a bowl of noodles is a bit expensive at 25. Finally, I would like to make a small suggestion. The quilt cover of the single bed I stayed in was very tattered, with holes on both sides. It is recommended to replace it.
