DD322We spent our wonderful trip at Brussels with this hotel with superb memories. we sleep soundly since hotel room is cozy and enjoying the atmosphere of the city happening each and every night.
Hotel is few km away from grand place, the staffs are friendly and greets us with kind words in notes and welcoming cookies. we feel delighted staying comfortably with this hotel.
We shall recommend to everyone whoever is coming to Brussels to stay at this Novotel hotel. we love this hotel and we shall be back with no time.

AAnonymous UserI really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, clean, and very reasonably priced for Belgium.
I stayed in a single room and expected it to be small, but it was surprisingly spacious, with a kettle and a private bathroom.
The breakfast was delicious and very affordable compared to other hotels.
I’m truly grateful to the staff and owners for their kindness and excellent service!

WwuchuanTLDR: Poorly staffed hotel albeit a great location
Room was left half cleaned (towel not changed, even with a sponge left in the toilet) . Hotel location is great accessible through the train station itself at Exit 2. But the room was extremely warm. Front desk did not pick up the call from the room so had to go down multiple times to try to get the room to be colder. In the end, staff only could say they will send someone up but never did. Only people that work the night shift are the front desk staff so they are understandably busy.
Regrettable that this experience did not match the standard of Pullman at other countries as well as the price of the room. Would not really recommend this hotel unless location is a high priority.
GGuest UserStayed for three nights and had a lovely stay, only problem was the lifts weren't working the morning I was due to check out anyway, but besides that this hotel is a hidden gem in the city centre in Place des Martyrs. Rogier station is just a few minutes walk through the shopping centre, for airport bus, train and metro connections. I specifically chose Juliana as this hotel has a swimming pool and wellness facilities, with a mini gym and not many hotels in Brussels have pools. The room I requested was a quiet room on high floor away from lifts, room 306. Very comfortable, but be aware that the large top window brings in a lot of light, you need to ask to get it closed away or it will be very light. It's wonderful to provide Milton Brown toiletries and I enjoyed the Nespresso style coffee and teas provided. Housekeeping were helpful, I lost an earring in the bathroom basin and one of the ladies help recover it, so merci to her for her assistance. Pool, sauna and steam room are great, but be aware that there is no changing area, so go directly down to basement ready changed and wear slippers provided in the bathroom drawers. Staff were very helpful and friendly, I would definitely stay here again if I return to Brussels.

AAnonymous UserThe location is super convenient if you are traveling Brussels and other parts of Belgium (like the Ghent and Brugges) as it is a close walking distance to grand place and right opposite central station! The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside is the rooms are a little old and there are wear and tears in places (for example, the closet doors creek and dont close properly). Might be a little old in comparison to other Hilton hotels, but overall a really good option for Brussels considering the price and convenience!
Oh, you also have to register to become a member of Hilton to access the free WiFi, which is a bit of a shame - wish it was complimentary!

GGuest User”Discreet” is a good word for this hotel; the concept is nice, but the execution is a bit lacking. The kitchen is really only suitable for eggs, so don't expect to skimp on food. There are three pans, two of which were too big for the stovetop, and two lids that were far too large for the pans. The ventilation system was completely covered in dust, and the air conditioning only worked halfway and displayed an error message most of the time, not ideal in 35 degrees Celsius. A kettle and coffee maker are included, but no tea or coffee; you have to buy this downstairs for €3. The outdoor area has three tables and a few chairs, but you're essentially sitting on the sidewalk, so don't expect too much. The staff were friendly and spoke English, which was nice. It seems like a hotel more suited to business travelers who need to be near the European Center. All in all, I find it expensive considering how much you have to do yourself upon departure. Taking out the trash and washing dishes yourself (for which absolutely no supplies are provided; we didn't even have a tea towel) doesn't make for a hotel-like experience. I never leave things dirty, but that this is expected for €130 a night seems absurd. You also get two sets of towels for a week, but you have to pay an additional €1.50 for these if you want clean ones.
KKate ThomCheck-in is 3pm and we arrived at 3pm but the room was only ready at almost 4pm. The story was that it was cleaned already but ”awaiting inspection”. We were handed 2 bar coupons with a blithe apology in rapid fire French for our 50 min wait.
The vacuuming in the room left much to be desired. When we got into the room on the 1st day, there was a pistachio at the side of the bed. My sister's dust allergy was triggered throughout our 4 day stay.
When we opted for housekeeping on the 3rd of the 4 days we stayed, the same pistachio remained there after the cleaning staff were done. Towels and bed linens were refreshed but the coffee/tea and bathroom amenities were not.
If you choose the Deluxe twin room like we did, please note that the room is 24 metre square and there is only room to open up one medium sized suitcase on the ground. Our other suitcase had to be accessed via the wardrobe which was spacious enough to keep the 2nd suitcase in.
Location wise, it's ideal and a stone's throw from Grand Place - the historic city centre, and many shops and good brasseries. It's a 10 min uphill walk from the hotel to the nearest train station called Brussel Centraal / Bruxelles-Midi which will bring you straight to the Brussels Airport in 17 min on the direct train (1st class carriage €12.10).
The buffet breakfast is plentiful and of good quality (with eggs cooked to order) in a nice space with a courtyard view crewed by pleasant staff fluent in English.
The bar has a relaxing ambience with an outdoor view and affordable drinks. My guide is always how much the increasingly rare digestif liqueur Chartreuse Verte costs. It was €14 per pour. Note : You get a free coupon for a soft drink/coffee/beer/wine if you pass up on room cleaning. If you have a short stay, you should as there wasn't much cleaning done.

AAnonymous UserI received an invoice by email on the morning of my departure, which indicated I had been charged twice for breakfast, once at the time of booking and once on arrival (which I questioned as I believed I had requested this when booking, but I was told not, so I paid).
Despite this, on the second and last day of my stay I was refused admission to the restaurant for breakfast as I was not on the list, even though my keycard (see photo) clearly stated I was registered.
Reception could find no record of my payment! It was only when I confronted them with the emailed invoice that they provided me with a voucher. The delay in sorting this out - compounded by one elevator being out of service during my stay, and the one remaining struggling to cope with demand (see second photo) - left me with insufficient time to eat much.
Trying to sort the matter out afterwards with the hotel management was a frustrating process. Great location and clean room, let down by lousy administration.
SShenhuaguowangThis time, I got a room on the fourth floor, which was more standard (last time, the top-floor 'Dachzimmer' was smaller). The bathroom renovation was also good. The breakfast was quite rich, with self-service freshly squeezed juice, a good variety of cheeses and meats, and excellent baked goods. The hotel is about 150 meters from the subway station, making it very convenient for getting around.
GGuest UserThe overall stay was good with very warm welcome and tourist advice from the front desk staff (Martina) and the welcome drink corner.
However, there are a few things that we wish the hotel could improve. First, the shower area is highly slippery. Thought the floor material for the shower area is not right for that purpose.
Second, when we checked out, we asked the front desk staff (new ones that we haven’t met before) to help call a taxi for our family to the train station. The staff said the taxi should arrive in 20 min. After waiting for 20min, passing the time when the taxi should have arrived, we asked the staff to check the status of the taxi. Then the staff told us that the taxi would not come and there was no commitment from the taxi driver to take the order and advised us to call Uber by ourselves. We were astonished and disappointed as they should have told us earlier about the unreliability of calling a taxi. As the Uber required another 15min of wait, to make sure we could catch the train, we walked with our kids and heavy luggage all the way to the train station in a rainy and windy day!
