Marseille Hotels with Breakfast

"The location is super convenient, right in the heart of the Old Port. There's a subway station right outside that takes you to the train station, and plenty of restaurants nearby. It's also within walking distance to the Museum of Mediterranean Archaeology, the starting point for the sightseeing train, and the graffiti street. We were upgraded to a room with a view, which was lovely. The downside is that it's really noisy facing the street at night; you can hear all sorts of sounds even past midnight, and the windows aren't soundproof. Light sleepers might have a hard time. The front desk and room service were both good. The breakfast... well, aside from the view, there's really nothing else worth mentioning."

"When checking in, I had some personal requests that I hoped Ctrip and the hotel could help adjust. Although it wasn't successful in the end, I still appreciate the hotel front desk staff's patience and the small compensation they offered. This hotel has many advantages. The overall atmosphere is great, and some small details show a lot of care, such as the coffee machine and water dispenser in the lobby. Sometimes there are fresh croissants, and the staff even mentioned a kids' snack time in the afternoon, though my child didn't attend. The room layout is quite good, with a separate wet and dry area for the bathroom, and a clothes dryer in the shower. However, I must mention one issue: upon entering the room, I smelled a sour, sweaty odor. It became even stronger when I went to sleep, to the point of being eye-watering. I sniffed the pillows and realized the smell was coming from them, and several of them were like this. This is truly the first time I've encountered such a problem. I ended up wrapping a bed sheet and a bath towel around my head to use as a pillow. I didn't inform the hotel, as even if they gave me different pillows, I wouldn't dare to use them. If the hotel sees this review, I hope you take this issue seriously. You excel in so many areas, and losing customers because of this would be a real shame. The hotel breakfast is quite good. I absolutely love their croissants and yogurt. Even close to closing time, they still replenish fresh food, which is really impressive! At night, please be very careful when entering and exiting the hotel. There are some homeless people nearby. One evening, I stepped out, walked a few steps, and squatted down to tie my shoelace. I noticed someone behind me suddenly stop and walk back. I suspected he wanted to steal something from me and I caught him. I wore valuable jewelry for over 20 days in Europe, but in Lyon, I took all my jewelry off because I didn't feel safe."
