Marseille Hotels with Gym

The room has a balcony and kitchen, making it ideal for long-term stays. The toilet and shower (no bathtub) are separate, and the sink is also separate, which is convenient. There's a simple gym where you can exercise. There's a supermarket and the Arc de Triomphe in Marseille nearby. I realized after booking that towel changes and room cleaning incur an additional charge. That was a bit disappointing.

It's a bit far from the subway station, but it's not too strenuous to walk there; The road all the way to the hotel is full of ****☹️, the traffic environment is too bad; The clear height of the house is not high and the public corridor is extremely narrow; The bedroom was so small that the bedroom door couldn't be closed because it was stuck by the length of the bed. . . There is no toilet paper bucket in the bathroom; The countertop in the bathroom is relatively small, and the plug in the sink is not easy to use; Likewise, the stopper in the shower bathtub doesn’t work well; Overall very average.

I’ve stayed in this hotel chain before, in Dubai, this hotel was also lovely! My flight landed at 9am and I was very lucky that they allowed me to check into the room as soon as I arrived to the hotel!

We stayed in Sofitel Marseille for 3 nights in the summer of 2023. The hotel is located right on the periphery of the old port of Marseille where all the shops and restaurants are located. It takes about a 15-minute walk to get from the hotel all the way to the centre of the old port so the hotel is fairly insulated from the hustle and bustle of the old port. The exterior of the hotel looks a bit dated but the interiors feel very fresh, clean and bright. We upgraded our room to a deluxe room facing the old port at the reception and we thought it was worth it. We never tired of waking up to a view of the old port with a clear blue sky. The room itself was quite clean and spacious. There was enough room to open up two luggages and still move around comfortably. There is also a turn down service where the staff will put out the bedroom slippers and play some nice Jazz music when you come back. The bed was nice and comfortable and the pillows were fluffy. The only complaint we had was that the air conditioning would turn off in the middle of the night. The air conditioning control did not seem to work and it seems like the air conditioning is centrally controlled so the in-room controls did nothing. I could not sleep the first night as it was too warm and stuffy so we asked for a ventilateur (fan) the next day. That helped us to sleep better. Obviously, if you are planning to stay during the winter months then the heat at night should not be an issue. The staff at the reception were always pleasant, warm, friendly and polite. We were upsold the room with a view when we checked in so that should say something about how friendly the staff were. It was EUR70 per night for the room with a view and it included overnight parking (EUR27 per night) so it was really only about EUR50 extra per night. The valet and the concierge were all very helpful and nice and they all speak English well enough. If you intend to park here, do note that the roads within the hotel property can be quite narrow and the parking lots are quite narrow as well. It may be worthwhile getting the valet to help you park your car at least for the first day because driving from the car rental agencies at the Marseille train station to the hotel was stressful enough for us. We paid around EUR300 - 350 a night but we thought it was worth it and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

The service is very good. The environment is quiet and safe. There are McDonald's, Carrefour, pharmacies, etc. all around. I will choose this store next time I come here. It's a great experience. Both check-in and check-out are very smooth. I was worried before coming here. Regarding safety issues, I didn’t expect to choose a hotel with such good security.

Excellent location apartment hotel, reception staff is very good, luggage storage. Value for money next to the station. The most bungalow is a comb bed, an elevator, not recommended for those who have difficulty walking stairs, and people who are afraid of noise at night (currently working 24 hours at St. Charles station opposite). Clean, bright, plenty of towels, spacious kitchen bathroom and beautifully designed, very pleasant place.

Service : correct Installations : satisfaisantes Chambre : propre et de dimension correcte, idéale pour un court séjour (max 3 jours), mais manque de rangements. Nourriture : rien d’exceptionnel — petit-déjeuner classique composé majoritairement de produits industriels, avec des jus de fruits à base de concentré. Remarque : la salle du petit-déjeuner était complète, la météo étant trop froide pour profiter de la terrasse extérieure.

The room type booked on Trip does not exist in the hotel. After requesting a change of room because I had booked a sea view and the given room did not have a sea view, we had a room with a balcony overlooking the pool and marina. The breakfast is very good: lots of choice and good quality products

The room was perfect, had airconditioning, good bed, clean. The only thing is that they should regularly check if everything still works fine. Specifically, lamps and items in the bathroom.
