L’ascensore un po’ matto finché ero lì, secondo me lo specchio riflette sulle fotocellule e continua a riaprire le porte. Ma anche se questo prontissimi nel risolvere la questione. WWilliamgray81This place is nice for a night. Not really near anything of importance, but if needing a place to stay before heading to the airport it's ideal. Near some restaurants in a seemingly dodgy part of town. The parking is a bit odd. I got stuck in the private parking for the apartment complex next door. When going into the parking stay to the left side. There's a nice pool and dining area to relax. Rooms are of great size and comfort. Very affordable in terms of a Crowne Plaza. Very good staff, was given a free upgrade. I highly recommend.

AAnonymous UserI absolutely love the little courtyard at The People Marseille! It has such a strong Mediterranean vibe, very chill. There's a communal kitchen, and it's mostly quiet, perfect for sitting by the window, reading a book, and sipping coffee. The beds are clean and the facilities are good too.

CCaiermateMy initial impression of Marseille as a city was quite negative. We faced two rejections from car services right outside the train station, and the streets seemed chaotic. However, a pleasant surprise awaited us at the hotel: the front desk staff spoke Chinese, which immediately made us feel welcome. The room itself was incredibly spacious, even featuring a small extra bed. It included a microwave, though no other cooking facilities. We ended up using the microwave to cook noodles for breakfast since we had an early train to catch and no time for the hotel's breakfast. Another nice surprise was the hotel's gym. While I don't plan on returning to Marseille, I would still highly recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserHotel has nice decorated hall, bar and private parking. Staff at the reception was polite and often did their best answering our requests, but sometimes they were more eager to explain us all the rules and cared not much.
Bar closed around 10 pm. It was not a restaurant, most of the dishes from menu were absent and there were not much to eat at all.
There were no bathrobe and slippers which is pretty not standard for 4 star hotel.
Breakfast was not good. Everyday was one sort of ham, sausages and scrambled eggs, croissants and yogurt with fruits. It always ended at 10. Not even longer on weekend.
Staff at the breakfast was so arrogant. I felt superfluous.
Cleaning was okey, but very chaotic, they always forgot black tea or towel or paper or etc. Always pushing reading lights into pillows - this is crazy.
Room, bed, pillows, bathroom, tea facilities were convenient. Nice pictures of Marseilles, nice colors of the furniture. A/c was good, but not the coldest, though we were in the hot period where it was 40 outside. Windows are not big, no balconies, so it is a little bit gloomy. Shower and wc worked good.
There was grocery shop just around the corner and shopping mall.
Hotel has strange location though everything seems close on the map, in fact we never walked even to the Old Port, because for us it was too much walking.
But it was convenient to use a car with private parking. This made our trip really good.

GGuest UserSecond stay at this hotel. Convenient for when traveling to / from the cruise port or airport. The hotel itself is very nice, small but great character and good facilities. We had a double floor mezzanine family room. Great room with comfy beds, clean, good amenities and nice bathroom, fridge, coffee machine etc so everything you need. There are two big downsides to this hotel that are out of their control. The old big French doors / windows look great but are not good at all for sound. We were on the 5th floor and heard cars, sirens, mopeds and people until the early hours and this does impact sleep. The second thing is the area, not a pleasant place at night. Lots of
Homeless, rough sleepers and not a welcoming place. For us, simply going there to sleep and be comfortable and have a nice room it was good and we’d stay again, but it is expensive when you consider the area and noise at night vs some other better located hotels in Marseille

AabcdehuaNeither good nor bad. The location is in the Old Port of Marseille. But it is not the most lively part of the square, which has an advantage that it is not so noisy. The lobby is on the 3rd floor and the room is on the 1st floor. The balcony faces the harbor. However, the picture is not taken in the room. I took it outside the hotel two minutes after I walked out of it. The hotel looks messy from the angle. In addition, you must remember to hang the Do Not Disturb sign. Otherwise, the staff will open the door and come in at will. Room service (ꐦÒ‸Ó). It is better to remember to carry cash with you.

GGuest UserCheck-in was delayed by late preparation for house services. The front desk receptionists were inactive to tell us when the room was ready.
The amenity was good and clean that deserved to have positive feedback. The hotel was located next to a beautiful stadium and attractive to football fans.

The hotel does not have its own parking lot, and there is no temporary parking space in front of the hotel. Self-driving travel is not recommended. The parking lot recommended by the hotel is a bit far away and costs 30 euros a night.

GGuest UserThe biggest advantage is that the train station is very close. The train station is on a high ground. It is very difficult to pull boxes in the city, such as the old port. It is recommended that the subway taxi is closer. The whole Marseille has various heights and lows. ibis is mainly soundproofed. The sound of other neighbors closing the door is not loud outside the window. Breakfast is really good at this price hotel.

The room is relatively small, but very distinctive, with a very Spanish balcony. The front desk is very kind and enthusiastic.
