The Psalter is a gem of an independent hotel. Very close to Eccleshall Rd and Endcliffe Park.
Clean and comfortable room in great condition. Comfy beds, great shower, excellent use of space.
Free secure car parking. Easy booking and check in.
Great price for a triple room.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Arranged a slightly later check out for us. No hassle.

QianshuidehaitangduoduoThe location is super convenient, really close to Sheffield train station. It's less than a five-minute walk to the City Hall, Peace Gardens, Winter Garden, and Millennium Gallery. This is a chain hotel, and the service and facilities are all up to par. Sheffield is very hilly, just like a British version of Chongqing, with slopes everywhere. So staying near the train station makes arriving and departing with luggage much easier. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Sheffield.

Guest UserThe hotel reception was very friendly. We arrived late, around 9:30 PM, because we were shopping at Bicester Village. The hotel is next to a Holiday Inn and has a decent-sized parking lot; it costs 6 pounds for an overnight stay, deducted from the deposit. Our room rate included dinner, but since the restaurant closed at 9 PM, the hotel arranged for us to eat at the bar next door. We ordered steak and fish and chips, which were surprisingly good, especially the steak. The room and bed were both very spacious, and the breakfast was excellent, featuring smoked salmon. Everyone in our group agreed it was great. There's also a traditional British reception room near the entrance, perfect for taking photos!

This is the second time I have stayed in the Leopold. It is a basic hotel, but delivers high-quality rooms, a good breakfast, and a perfect location for exploring Sheffield. The building is curious, as it is a converted school. It also opens directly (at the back) on to a pedestrian plaza with multiple bars and restaurants.

Anonymous UserFacilities: The facilities are quite basic, just a small table and a small chair. There were no disposable slippers or a hairdryer.
Hygiene: The hygiene was just average; there were a few bloodstains on the front of the bedsheet.
Environment: The location is decent, with a supermarket right across the street.

A very typical, standard, simple, not too expensive, city centre hotel offering is everything needed for a single night in Sheffield. Blonk Street car park now closed and alternative alongside hotel not cheap by any means. However, that's city centres for you.

I check the reviews before deciding to stay here. It’s a budget hotel, but parking is easy ( additional cost) and there’s an EV charger available, which was very convenient. It’s only a 10 mins walk to the cinema and there’s are plenty restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

GillyBA great hotel in a good location for visitors to Sheffield. The advantage of staying slightly out of the city centre for free parking and a peaceful location. The rooms are clean, spacious and quiet in lovely grounds. We had 4 rooms with our party which were booked at a reasonable price and 2 were upgraded on arrival which was a bonus. The staff were friendly and welcoming especially the lady on reception. Would happily stay here again

NavvyJust a quick overnight stay to attend a graduation at Sheffield Uni. Very clean, comfortable and quiet, with large rooms, fairly modern bathrooms and a spacious car park. There are several convenience stores and takeaways nearby (10-15min walk or 3min drive). Only took around 30 minutes by car to reach the city centre and the university, in moderate traffic. Not a breakfast person myself but a buffet continental breakfast was included, consisting of the usual cereals, yoghurt, croissants, juice, tea, coffee...cooked breakfast was available for what seemed a reasonable price on top. All in all a nice, hassle-free stay.
