Guest UserI genuinely do not recommend this hotel. After checking in, I found a large, awkwardly placed pillar in the room, which severely impacted the living experience. The bathroom also had a pungent, unpleasant odor, indicating a poor environment. It's clear the hotel assigns less desirable rooms to foreign guests, which significantly detracts from the overall experience. I advise everyone to book with caution.

The Psalter is a gem of an independent hotel. Very close to Eccleshall Rd and Endcliffe Park.
Clean and comfortable room in great condition. Comfy beds, great shower, excellent use of space.
Free secure car parking. Easy booking and check in.
Great price for a triple room.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Arranged a slightly later check out for us. No hassle.

Excellent, it even has a balcony.
The room is significantly larger than other hotels in Sheffield.
Although it's a bit far from the university, it's quite close to the cathedral in the city center. The room and surrounding environment are fantastic, with a beautiful little river nearby. Breakfast purchased can be refunded in advance with the front desk if you suddenly decide you don't need it anymore. The service was truly excellent. Just remember to ask the front desk for toilet paper if you run out. I stayed with my family for my graduation ceremony, and even with a lot of luggage, we had plenty of room. If I have the chance to come to Sheffield again, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

DarkTouristMy stay at the Rutland Hotel was really pleasant. The staff were friendly and kind; the lady at the check-in desk was particularly lovely, and I was lucky enough to get the last available parking space!
I thought the room was perfect for a solo traveler, providing me with a comfortable base after a day of exploring the city before attending a show the following day. Everywhere was clean and tidy. I made use of the facilities, enjoying a relaxing shower and winding down in my pyjamas with an episode of Midsomer Murders (each room has a tv and wifi). I ordered room service and the curry was tasty.
The only downside was that the room was really hot throughout the night. Even with the provided fan running and the window and curtains left open, it remained uncomfortably warm. Aside from that, it was an enjoyable stay.
I would stay here again, but hopefully not in a room so hot!! To the staff - thank you for being so lovely :)

Guest UserThe hotel reception was very friendly. We arrived late, around 9:30 PM, because we were shopping at Bicester Village. The hotel is next to a Holiday Inn and has a decent-sized parking lot; it costs 6 pounds for an overnight stay, deducted from the deposit. Our room rate included dinner, but since the restaurant closed at 9 PM, the hotel arranged for us to eat at the bar next door. We ordered steak and fish and chips, which were surprisingly good, especially the steak. The room and bed were both very spacious, and the breakfast was excellent, featuring smoked salmon. Everyone in our group agreed it was great. There's also a traditional British reception room near the entrance, perfect for taking photos!

This is the second time I have stayed in the Leopold. It is a basic hotel, but delivers high-quality rooms, a good breakfast, and a perfect location for exploring Sheffield. The building is curious, as it is a converted school. It also opens directly (at the back) on to a pedestrian plaza with multiple bars and restaurants.

We chose this place for a hiking trip to the Peak District. It's just a short uphill walk from the train station.
There are several Chinese supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient for groceries.

The room was spacious, with both a bathtub and a shower. You need to swipe your card to use the elevator, and there's CCTV in the hallway. You can hang a sign on your door if you don't want your room cleaned. We stayed for four nights and felt very safe.

‼️ You can check out before 12 PM.
‼️ However, the hotel's Wi-Fi isn't very smooth.
The housekeepers make a lot of noise every morning while cleaning, which really disturbs light sleepers who want to sleep in a bit.

法塔赫布尔西格里邢杲The hotel is very clean. In the morning, I went to the restaurant through the beautiful English garden. It felt very good. In addition to regular coffee and drinks, the breakfast was quite good. The front desk is so-so. It is about 5-6 stops by rail from the University of Sheffield. It feels a little bit remote. There is a large supermarket/parking lot nearby. From the station, pass the supermarket back to the hotel. There were some fast food a few hundred meters behind the hotel, but we did not go.

Guest UserIt was an impressive and pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a family room, which was perfect for our trip, very spacious and with great view. The bed mattress is one of the best in all my experience. I had great sleep during the stay. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The location is very convenient if you are driving - 20 mins drive to the walking trails and 10 mons drive to centre of Sheffiled. David from the restaurant provided highly professional and helpful service for our breakfast. All in all, we would consider staying at this hotel again if we visit this area again.

NavvyJust a quick overnight stay to attend a graduation at Sheffield Uni. Very clean, comfortable and quiet, with large rooms, fairly modern bathrooms and a spacious car park. There are several convenience stores and takeaways nearby (10-15min walk or 3min drive). Only took around 30 minutes by car to reach the city centre and the university, in moderate traffic. Not a breakfast person myself but a buffet continental breakfast was included, consisting of the usual cereals, yoghurt, croissants, juice, tea, coffee...cooked breakfast was available for what seemed a reasonable price on top. All in all a nice, hassle-free stay.
