Guest UserOn June 28, 2026, at 7:00 AM, after a high-speed train and a slower 'green-skin' train journey, we finally arrived at the Golmud Huanghe International Hotel. The friendly front desk lady warmly welcomed us and quickly processed our check-in. She even thoughtfully gave us two breakfast vouchers and advised us to rest well at the hotel after eating to acclimatize to the high altitude, rather than engaging in strenuous activities right away.
The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for dining and shopping. It also has its own parking lot, which is very friendly for self-driving tourists. The guest rooms are spacious, bright, clean, and hygienic, and the housekeeping staff diligently cleaned them every day. The hotel breakfast was abundant, offering both Chinese and Western options, as well as ******* tsampa and milk tea. The freshly prepared beef noodles were particularly good. They delivered complimentary fruit and snacks every day. On two occasions when we left early for a day tour, they even prepared packed lunches for us.
The lobby manager, Xiaofang, was incredibly kind. She gave us a discount when we extended our stay and even added us on WeChat, checking in daily to see how we (being seniors in our sixties) were adapting to the high altitude. The Golmud Huanghe International Hotel truly felt like a warm and considerate temporary home for us in the highlands. We are very grateful for the efforts of every staff member at the hotel. Our trip to the Northwest highlands was delightful, and none of our initial worries materialized; we completed our high-altitude itinerary smoothly. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you visit Golmud. Five-star rating!

lun02Hotel was excellent, the staffs managed to arrange for me to check-in early despite check-in time to be usually at 2pm, I managed to put my bags down and rest and catch my day trip in Golmud, furthermore they also helped reschdule my breakfast and also informed me on the laundry services available. Overall, staying at Kaibang Hotel is the smoothest and most enjoyable experience

Paolo FuI stayed here in August during a Qinghai–Gansu trip with my girlfriend. The staff were consistently professional, helpful, and kind.
The hotel is modern and offers a good range of amenities, including a gym and laundry facilities. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of both local and international options.
The only drawback was the soundproofing, as some noise from the neighbouring room could be heard. I would recommend asking specifically for a quiet room when booking.
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily recommend this hotel +++++

My stay at the Chaka Wanfeng Hotel was excellent. The room was new and spotlessly clean. Upon check-in, I received a lovely little trinket, and they even kindly upgraded my room for free. When I felt symptoms of altitude sickness in the evening, I contacted the front desk, and a oxygen concentrator was quickly delivered, along with yogurt and fruit. When checking out, I was given water and local specialty drinks. The service was prompt and very thoughtful.
The hotel has a large parking lot, which is very convenient for those driving. It's only a few minutes' drive from the Chaka Salt Lake scenic area, making travel easy. Overall, the attention to detail is impressive. I'd highly recommend this place for anyone driving to Chaka.

I recently stayed at Lone Star with my child, and overall, the experience was quite good and I'd recommend it, though there are a few minor details I hope they'll improve.
First, the pros:
* **Environment and Cleanliness:** The hotel is located in the Gobi Desert and has a very futuristic design. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom had no odor, which exceeded my expectations.
* **Observation Deck:** The observation deck offers excellent views. Stargazing at night was truly spectacular; there was no light pollution, and the Milky Way was clearly visible. My child was so excited they didn't want to come down.
* **Children's Facilities:** There's a dedicated children's playground and that popular big slide. My child went down it dozens of times, completely wearing themselves out. It's very family-friendly.
* **Front Desk Service:** A definite thumbs-up! When we checked in, the front desk attendant proactively told us that the price we booked at was higher than the current day's rate. She advised us to cancel and rebook on Ctrip, saving us several hundred yuan. Such honest service is rare these days, and I was very touched.
* **Butler Service:** The overall attitude was great, and they were very responsive to requests, helping with luggage and delivering items promptly.
Now for the shortcomings, mainly two points:
* **Butler Response Time:** Perhaps due to limited staff, there were a few times when I messaged the butler on WeChat and received slow replies. For example, it took nearly half an hour to get a bottle of mineral water. I suggest increasing staff during peak hours.
* **Outdated Shuttle Vehicles:** This was the biggest drawback. The hotel's shuttle buses and pick-up/drop-off vehicles looked old and worn. The seats were tattered, they rattled loudly when moving, and the brakes felt a bit shaky, making us uneasy. For such a stylish hotel, these vehicles are really out of place. I strongly recommend replacing them with new ones.
In summary, the positives outweigh the negatives. The environment and experience were well worth the price. If they could update the vehicles, it would be perfect. I would consider staying here again if I visit Shuishang Yadan in the future, and I hope the hotel continues to improve.

Guest UserI had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious and well-designed, spotlessly clean, and completely odor-free. The bed was so soft and comfortable, I slept like a baby. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and there was plenty of hot water, with all the essential amenities provided. The hotel staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and friendly. The location is super convenient for transportation, yet the surroundings are peaceful and quiet. It’s definitely an excellent choice for a trip.
The hygiene was top-notch; there wasn't a speck of dust or dirt anywhere, and the room was well-ventilated with a comfortable temperature. The soundproofing was fantastic, making for a truly quiet night's rest. The facilities were excellent, with soft, pleasant lighting. The staff were responsive and friendly. This hotel offers much better value for money than others in its price range, and I would genuinely recommend it and definitely return.

Guest UserThe room was clean and there was plenty of drinking water. If you needed oxygen equipment, you just had to ask the front desk and they would provide an oxygen concentrator. The stay was quite good. It's peak season now, so there are a lot of guests. The breakfast was quite varied, with both Chinese and Western options, which was great. It's one of the better hotels near Chaka, though the price is a bit higher during peak season.

TuanzigegeaI was just planning a standard stay, but unexpectedly, the weather suddenly turned cold overnight. To my surprise, the owner was incredibly thoughtful and offered a free upgrade to a deluxe suite, which instantly made the experience fantastic! The room was spacious and comfortable, with brand new, well-equipped facilities. For a place like Lenghu, it completely exceeded my expectations. The service was warm, attentive, and very detailed, making it feel truly like home. If you're coming to Lenghu, you absolutely must stay at the Xingqiong Secluded Realm Quality Hotel – you won't regret it. I've already highly recommended it to my friends!

Luoxiaohei-miFantastic! The owner is excellent, always busy making sure everything runs smoothly!
The hotel's exterior isn't much to look at, but the rooms are incredibly cozy and make you feel right at home!
The facilities are complete and automated. They were very generous with bottled water, though it's a shame we only went through one large bottle in two days, haha, we just couldn't finish it all!
The disposable toiletries were a thoughtful touch, really great!
This was the only hotel with air conditioning we stayed at during our trip around Qinghai Lake.
On the first day, coming from Qilian, I experienced some altitude sickness, so I went to bed early, and it was really comfortable!
We stayed for two nights. We probably arrived back at the hotel too early, around 3 PM, and our room hadn't been serviced yet. The owner quickly got it sorted out for us, which we really appreciate!
Highly recommend this place; you won't be disappointed!

Guest UserThe room is OK, the standard of a comfortable hotel, but it is not soundproof and too noisy. You can hear people talking outside. However, the service attitude of the front desk is very good, and they also gave souvenirs to the children. The children are very happy. The price in summer is definitely more expensive than usual. This cannot be avoided when traveling with children. It is very close to Chaka Salt Lake. The Sichuan restaurant next to the hotel is delicious
