Choosing the right accommodation truly elevated our Yangshuo trip, and the Yangshuo Xishi Jinshe (Shili Gallery Yulong River Store) is a divine hotel nestled amidst the mountains and rivers. Our experience was absolutely perfect from start to finish – I wholeheartedly recommend it!
Before I dive into the review, I have to praise the service. It was thoughtful, warm, attentive, and considerate throughout our stay, making us feel incredibly cherished. 🥰
The hotel's location is absolutely stunning, right by the Qinglong Bridge on the Yulong River. From the large floor-to-ceiling window next to our bed, we had direct views of the continuous karst peaks and the gently flowing Yulong River, with bamboo rafts slowly drifting by our window. Every glance offered a picturesque, ink-wash painting-like scene. The design is simple yet sophisticated, blending perfectly with the natural landscape. The super-large floor-to-ceiling windows, courtyard lawn, and the rooftop 'sky mirror' all provided perfect photo opportunities. The environment is serene and peaceful, completely away from the hustle and bustle, creating an incredibly immersive atmosphere.
I must commend the service again; it was exceptionally thoughtful, offering full butler-style service. Every front desk staff member was enthusiastic and meticulous, always ready to assist with any questions. The attention to detail was impeccable, making the entire experience relaxing and heartwarming. We initially booked for only two nights, planning to try another hotel for a different view, but we were so touched by the service that we extended our stay for another two nights. The service was truly exceptional.
The downstairs restaurant exceeded our expectations. The ingredients were fresh and authentic. The Guilin rice noodles, beer fish, and braised chicken 🐓 were all delicious, and the eggplant 🍆 and green beans were incredibly fragrant. We had dinner there four times in a row, and each meal was satisfying and enjoyable; our whole family loved the food.
The hotel's infinity pool offers direct views of the beautiful mountains and rivers. Our children spent several afternoons playing there. The area around the pool is comfortable and well-equipped, allowing adults to relax and enjoy the scenery while the kids have fun.
It was a truly healing and immersive experience amidst the mountains and rivers. The environment, service, dining, and facilities were all top-notch. Whether for a relaxing getaway or a family trip, this is definitely a treasure choice for a stay in Yangshuo!

QQihuyoutianxiaThe location is great, making it easy to arrange transportation. It's right at the end point of the bamboo raft cruise, so you arrive directly at the hotel. It's the first hotel in the village and has several restaurants nearby. The environment is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and lush greenery, with a Yulong River tributary flowing right in front. The hotel even offers electric scooters for exploring the Ten-Mile Gallery. Both the hotel and the rooms are very new, clean, and well-equipped. The service is excellent and attentive; all the staff are polite and greet you warmly. They deliver a fruit platter, nuts, and candied fruit to your room daily and proactively helped us plan our itinerary. The breakfast is delicious, and the 5th-floor restaurant offers the best views. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. I've stayed in many great guesthouses in recent years, but this one is probably my favorite, and the price is reasonable.

The room is built right by the river; opening the window reveals the quietly flowing water and continuous mountain peaks. In the morning, mist swirls, and in the evening, the glow of the sunset paints the water – it's unbelievably beautiful.
The bedding was very comfortable, and the facilities were clean and well-designed, with thoughtful touches evident everywhere.
The service was also very attentive. The front desk lady was gentle and enthusiastic, and her recommendations for local Guilin rice noodles and the Yulong River bamboo raft route were excellent.
Sitting on the riverside terrace at night, feeling the breeze and listening to the water, I felt completely healed. It's not just a hotel; it's a place where you can truly find peace of mind. The hotel also offered a complimentary travel photography session, and the photographer was very enthusiastic. Thumbs up! [Strong][Strong]

BBeizhuyixiabaThe location is excellent, very close to the 20-yuan Lijiang River scenic pier. The environment is clean and tidy, and the room is very spacious. The service attitude is superb. I booked for two nights and was supposed to check out by 12 PM on the third day. However, on the second night, my child was hit by a car and transferred to Guilin Hospital. It wasn't until the evening of the third day that my husband had time to go check out and pack our luggage. The owner kept the room for us and didn't rush us to check out at all. The owner is a truly compassionate person; they repeatedly inquired about my child's condition, didn't charge us for the late checkout, and even gave my child a red envelope. For this booking, the owner truly went above and beyond, practically losing money. Such big-hearted owners are truly rare. I wish the owner a prosperous business and abundant wealth. Thank you for your immense kindness.

GGuest UserThis villa is absolutely amazing, the entire design is just my style. There are projectors both upstairs and downstairs, which is such a thoughtful touch, and the landlady even specifically bought a vanity table. The location is also fantastic, a 15-minute drive to the town, and just a 10-minute walk to the Yulong River Old County Pier.
I especially have to rave about the hotel bar! The landlady personally mixes drinks for you, and the cocktails are genuinely delicious. She used to be a bartender in Chengdu, and her drinks are even better than ones I've had in Hong Kong! Plus, the bar's decor is really cool, with an American record vibe. I really urge the owners to promote the bar more! The landlady even gave me a free bartending lesson – a truly unique experience!
And the room was spotlessly clean with a beautiful view!

WWusuobunengdexiaoheigeI’d been eyeing this place since its Alila days, but only managed to visit after it was delisted. Post-delisting, it feels too much like an influencer hotspot, losing that luxury resort charm.
Our room was arranged too close to the road. The trucks speeding along the mountain road made closing the windows almost useless. What I found most unacceptable were the linens. I really want to ask, how many years have these linens been in use? Whether it was the pillows or the duvet, there was absolutely no sense of comfort or luxurious embrace you’d expect from a luxury resort. Just rough, heavy, suffocating fabrics, combined with the noisy traffic from the road, made for terrible sleep. I strongly suggest the hotel updates its linens, especially the pillows, as they are crucial, while also upgrading other hardware. The hotel is beautiful, but that's all it has going for it.
Reconstruction under a historical building gives it a new narrative, but from many angles, the operations feel more like hype than substance. After seeing the business trends in Yangshuo, it's hard for this place not to follow suit. I still recommend everyone to come and experience it, but when the only link a hotel has to luxury resort status is its high price, it's difficult for it to truly thrive.

DDongdongdddddI chose this hotel at random, and it's just a ten-minute walk from West Street. You can catch a bamboo raft right across from the hotel, and since it's in the heart of the scenic area, getting around is incredibly convenient. The Sky Mirror on the rooftop is absolutely stunning – it's like a panoramic painting of the 'Ten-Mile Gallery' right here in the county! The room was huge, and I could even see the mountains of Yangshuo from my bed. Seriously, book this place without hesitation, you won't regret it!

The location is simply unbeatable. Nestled right in the stunning Ten Mile Gallery scenic area and just steps away from the Yulong River, the hotel is surrounded by dramatic karst mountains, lush greenery, and peaceful village landscapes. It felt like waking up inside a postcard every morning. Being so close to attractions like bamboo rafting spots, Moon Hill, and scenic cycling routes made exploring the area incredibly easy and enjoyable.
The property itself is beautifully designed with a modern yet calming aesthetic. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very thoughtfully put together, with large windows that opened up to breathtaking mountain and river views. Every detail—from the comfortable bedding to the high-quality amenities—made it feel like a premium stay.
What really stood out was the peaceful atmosphere. Unlike the busier parts of Yangshuo, this area felt serene and immersive, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. We loved taking quiet morning walks by the river and even cycling through the Ten Mile Gallery—it’s truly one of the most scenic areas in the region.

NNanlvVCFacilities: The room type I stayed in was the best this guesthouse offers, and it was truly excellent value for money. It featured a large TV, a spacious bathtub, huge floor-to-ceiling windows, and smart home controls throughout. Waking up in the morning, I could enjoy the beautiful scenery of Yangshuo right from my bed, without even having to get up!
Environment: The location is fantastic, very close to the Yulong River Pier and the Impression Liu Sanjie show, making transportation very convenient. You can rent an electric scooter or take a taxi to get around. Downstairs, there are several restaurants where you can savor local specialties.
Service: A big shout-out to the front desk staff, a young man and woman, who checked me in during the evening shift. They prepared welcome fruits, gave me local souvenir gifts, and offered tea and osmanthus black tea. Their service was incredibly warm and enthusiastic. The guesthouse even provides free traditional clothing for guests to wear, and the front desk lady, noticing I was alone, very kindly offered to help me take photos, which was incredibly thoughtful.
