BBayue520The room was clean and hygienic, with a separate wet and dry area, which was great. Aside from the lack of air conditioning, everything else was excellent. The room was also quite spacious; there was room to put two suitcases out comfortably, and a clothes drying area was convenient. The table was also long, perfect for applying makeup, haha, and there was plenty of space to put out cosmetics. Overall, it was quite good value for money. I even saw a rainbow in the hallway outside! A perfect score!

GGuest UserI initially chose this place for its unique glass-house design, which I found very appealing. To my surprise, the room was super warm at night thanks to the underfloor heating. The staff was incredibly thoughtful and even turned on the heating for us in advance, so arriving after 1 AM was still very comfortable.
I'm quite particular about bathroom cleanliness, and this one was spotless. Just a small heads-up: the shower floor can be a bit slippery, so be careful.
The staff mentioned 24-hour service, so I assume they have rotating shifts – very considerate! Besides breakfast, you can enjoy complimentary coffee at the front desk in the morning, which was a lovely bonus.
The location is great, very close to Dongmen. On a clear morning, the views were beautiful, putting me in a wonderful mood! Overall, a truly memorable experience.

AAiyo~weiyaWhen I booked the yurt, my simple desire was to bring my 4-and-a-half-year-old to experience Kazakh culture and a different way of life. But...
Surprise 1: Located at the highest point of Sai Lake, I could wake up to watch the sunrise and even see the entire lake. For adults, the view is incredible.
Surprise 2: The owners are a family of three. Their son is a handsome Kazakh man who speaks Mandarin the best in the family. He handles all customer communications, making communication seamless. The family is incredibly friendly and helpful, and they'll do their best to satisfy any request, as long as they can.
Surprise 3: They have a herd of cattle, and another family on the hill behind them has a herd of sheep. They also have two sheepdogs and several horses. It's a truly delightful experience for children. They can play with the dogs, talk to the lambs, ride horses, and ride horses... And they even learned to distinguish between sheep and cow dung, as it's so common and natural.
Surprise 4: For dinner, we ordered lamb skewers, braised lamb chops, and pilaf. Two adults and one child couldn't finish them all; the portions were generous and the flavors were excellent. The clear mutton soup had no mutton smell at all (it's best to order it in advance, as it takes about two hours to simmer).
Of course, if you're choosing a yurt, you should be prepared. Only consider choosing one if you can accept the following: 1) There's no private toilet, only a dry toilet, and no showers. 2) There's a stove inside, and you have to add the charcoal yourself at night, otherwise it won't last until the next morning. 3) The standard of cleanliness should be comparable to other yurts, not five-star hotels.
Overall, if I were to stay in this area again, I would still choose this yurt.

GGuest UserMy first capsule hotel experience totally exceeded my expectations! It felt really safe and cozy in there, and the bed was so clean and comfy.
They even offer free laundry service, which was a huge plus.
Location-wise, it's pretty great too. I was walking to the park, and it was super close to the Old East Gate entrance. Plus, there are tons of good places to eat and convenience stores nearby, making it incredibly convenient.

Yy3nch1ngWe booked the guest rooms, which are actually a “盲盒” concept where you get whichever room is available upon check-in. Luckily, we were upgraded to wooden cabins with two rooms each. Since I booked 3 rooms, they arranged 2 wooden cabins for us.
Each cabin came with two independent bedrooms with attached bathrooms, plus a shared living room. We absolutely loved it because we could gather and spend time together in the living room. We even had steamboat there one evening, which made the stay feel extra cozy, lovely, and convenient.
There was also a huge open area in front of the cabins, but unfortunately the wind during our stay was too strong for us to sit outside. In the evening, sheep were grazing right outside our unit. On good weather days, you can even see Sayram Lake and the snow mountains directly from the cabin, which was really beautiful.
The cabins are spread across a large area, so you do need to walk to your unit, but the pathways are properly paved and easy to walk on. Our cabin was about 200m from the car park.
Special shoutout to the staff, Hemu and Dan Ni Er, who were extremely helpful. They used their small transport buggy to help move our luggage during check-in and check-out. Since we were travelling with elderly family members who had difficulty walking, they also kindly gave them rides to and from the cabin, which we truly appreciated.
Highly recommended for those looking for a different and more memorable experience compared to a normal hotel stay.

AAnonymous UserIt is close to the old east gate, and it can be reached in ten minutes on foot. It takes about half an hour to walk from the entrance of the new scenic spot. There are a lot of food around, and the supermarket is very convenient. The floor heating is very sufficient, the duplex room type can accommodate 6 people, it is too suitable for a family to stay, the off-season price is relatively high, it is OK to stay for one night. Sailimu Lake is really beautiful! ! ! !

GGuest UserI finally get it! There's a shade of blue in this world called Sayram Lake Blue 🌊 Staying in this yurt, you open the door to this breathtaking blue that's etched into your soul. Standing by the monument, watching the lake's waves, with snow-capped mountains in the distance – every single frame is so beautiful it leaves you speechless! The yurt is clean and has a unique Kazakh charm. The owner is super friendly and even pointed out the best photo spots. If you're coming to Sayram Lake, staying here is an instant romance booster!

GGuest UserAccommodation around Sayram Lake is very expensive, including hostel beds. Hongze Guesthouse's beds are relatively affordable for the area. Perhaps due to high rents and costs, the guesthouse owner essentially bought or rented a shop with a ceiling height of four or five meters, then divided it into two floors, each filled with cubicles. To maximize space, each cubicle is very small, with nothing but a bed, and no common area. The low ceiling and dark gray decor created a slightly oppressive atmosphere. WiFi was available, but the signal in my room was very weak, almost unusable, which was very inconvenient; the signal was much better in the bathroom. However, I didn't mind any of this. The owner also did many good things; he was very polite, proactive in his service, provided disposable toiletries, the water was hot, and the bathroom was clean. What I found particularly unpleasant was that the blankets didn't seem to be changed after each guest; the blanket I slept on had a used smell. I'm not sure, and if I'm wrong, I apologize to the owner. But if what I said is true, I hope the boss absolutely will not do this. It's self-destructive. There's not much a cubicle can offer guests; the only thing they can do well is ensure a good night's sleep. But if they don't even wash or change the blankets to save trouble, it will definitely cause resentment. I still hope the boss will correct their shortcomings and do better.

AAnonymous UserI took the kids to experience the life of the herdsmen, which was very enjoyable. We arrived at Sailimu in the evening, entered through the east gate, and settled down near the Dianjiangtai at just the right time. We sat in front of the felt and watched the sunset over the golden mountain in the distance. In the evening, we tasted delicious mutton skewers and mutton soup, and the long-lost sky full of stars. In the morning, we opened the felt door and saw the whole lake, the yellow grassland, and the scattered horses. It was a particularly unforgettable scene. The whole accommodation had a fire and the temperature was okay. Although the bathroom was a dry toilet, it was relatively clean. There was spring water brought by the herdsmen for washing, which basically solved the problem of washing. It is worth experiencing!

GGuest UserThe yurt is at the north gate of Sailimu Lake. The location can directly see the lake. The boss will drive to the north gate to pick it up. The yurt is very large, even if it rains, it is much safer than camping. Heating is a charcoal stove. When you just burn it, you can wear short sleeves. It is a bit cold after the middle of the night. You can let the boss prepare some charcoal and wake up at night. The boss and the proprietress are very good. They can eat at home and experience authentic styles. After eating the mutton skewers, they didn’t have time to take pictures. The fried mutton should be braised. The mutton is very delicious. The sheep skin that was just killed in the morning is still on the ground. It is highly recommended to stay in the experience, you can watch the night view and sunset, and it is also convenient to get up early to watch the sunrise and drive around the lake. There are voles, sheep, cattle, horses and other small animals on the grass.
