"The hotel is ideally located, very close to all the main attractions. We also appreciated the added sense of security with a police station right next door. While the soundproofing could be better, the thoughtful provision of earplugs more than made up for it. The 24-hour complimentary beverage station was a welcome amenity."

"The room was sparkling clean, which was great! However, a heads-up for future guests: you'll need to bring your own toiletries, as beyond bath towels, no other amenities are provided in the room. The location is decent. We took a taxi from Terminal 1, and it cost 22 Euros, which felt quite expensive."

"This was my second stay at this hostel and it's still amazing. One of the best hostels I have stayed at in Europe. It is well located - right off the Mayor Plaza. Close to bus routes and not too far from the subway. The hostel staff are super friendly and always available - 24hr front desk. They are hapy to have a chat with you and make recommendations and give advice - or just sing along to whatever is playing from the bar. They weresuper gracious and helped to arrange my friends and I in the same room - even though we all had individual bookings. The rooftop is excellent. We spent several siesta's up there; reading and chatting and having a drink. Just note that the rooftop bar is a public space and at times sections of it are booked for events. But otherwise the view of the rooftops and the church dome are worth it. The rooms are spacious enough, as is the private bathroom. There are additional bathrooms on each floor - gendered. The bunk ladders are a little steep on the steps - my shorter friend struggled getting up to her bunk - we had to use the foot stool to assist. But the ability to have two people using the bathroom in the room at a time made for easy use - especially with only 6 people in our dorm. The free margarita making each night from 9pm and the bar crawl are worth checking out. My friend also also did the walking tour - and said she found it super informative and. chill. Lots of food recommendations and the group all grabbed lunch together after the tour."

"The hotel looks a bit dated when you walk inside , the lobby is really just a tiny corner. The receptionists are always very nice and helpful. The room decoration has a bit of a weird vibe, so don’t hold too much expectation. Overall it’s clean and close to everything."

"I really love the design of this hotel, which has a touch of wabi-sabi. The ambiance is wonderful, perfect for couples or friends, and the bed is very comfortable. Although it opened in 2016, the rooms are very clean and the decor is very modern! There's a McDonald's right outside, and Starbucks and Gran Via across the street, making it very convenient for shopping, dining, and more. I love the Starbucks across the street, and there's always people playing and singing opera nearby. It's a great choice for business trips and travel."

"-The hotel's location is excellent for those interested in visiting Madrid's most iconic sights. Everything is within walking distance, allowing you to plan routes that cover the most representative sites. -Breakfast is not included, but we recommend it. It is varied, well-stocked, and the restaurant staff are always willing to help. Having breakfast allows you to make the most of your morning visiting places of interest. -The hotel is not new and this is noticeable in the details, but all the amenities work without any problems. -The terrace is a great place to end the night (it closes at 2 AM). It is intimate, quiet, and has good views."

"Great hotel in a great location. Had everything we needed. No breakfast available but little bag with water and a muffin/ doughnut hung on doorknob in the morning and the coffee corner. Perfect place for us. Although there is a lift, there are stairs, so be careful if mobility limited or lots of heavy bags. Fine for us with weekend luggage. Staff so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!"

"The room was clean and the bathroom also clean and had everything I needed. I have absolutely no complaints there. WLAN worked well and reliably, except for a few disconnects, but it was not included. The cleaning personnel offered to clean the room more frequently than was necessary, which was fine, but I don't need my room to be cleaned every day or even every second day. I keep it quite clean anyway. The only thing I missed was a little fridge to put drinks in, so that I could cool water bottles or milk. The reception desk people were also always friendly and understood my bad Spanish and were helpful. Thank you. If you don't have to be in the very center of Madrid, the location of this hotel is still fine, since the metro is merely 5min away walking distance and quickly gets you anywhere in Madrid."
