Good location near Torino Porta Nuova station and surrounded by nice restaurants. Not too far from the city center either, a walkable distance. Nice common area with a kitchen, lots of tables, comfy couches, ping pong table, guitar etc. Nice that they have a water dispenser, even for sparkling water. The room was generally clean and spacious, nice that a whole set of towels are included in the price, which was not the case at another hostel I stayed in Bologna (there was an extra charge). They could do with more hangers and places to actually hang the hangers though. Another thing that was slightly inconvenient was that the attic room is not accessible by the lift, you still have to lug your luggage up a last bit of stairs and the door opens outward so that makes it even harder to bring the luggage in.

The apartment has an excellent location; it's within walking distance of the city walk and shopping areas, and Porta Nuova train station is also within easy walking distance. The M4 tram line is right outside, which is very convenient. Turin's public transport is very convenient, so there's no need to take a taxi. I took an Uber once, and it took 20 minutes to get there đ. Nearby Chinese, Japanese, and Italian restaurants are all good choices based on Google reviews. The hotel was clean and well-equipped, with a washing machine (which was great) and they even provided a small bag of laundry detergent. The mattress was exceptionally soft. There's a kitchen, but no condiments. There's a shared workspace on the first floor where you can drink coffee, but only espresso is available in small and large sizes.

SanqishilangThis hotel really amazed me. It is a century-old building with a huge wooden door. There are winding paths inside. The receptionist is very sexy. I will take you to the room for introduction. The suite also has a large terrace, a local lavazza coffee machine in the living room, two bathrooms, and a good kitchen. Everything is just right. It is simply too perfect. I woke up in the morning and had a cup of authentic espresso in my own small yard. It was really amazing.

Travel addict âď¸Amazing stay in a great student campus. You have a study area, a gym, a nice clean room with high ceilings and a kitchen, communal living room spaces and even a tennis court! Definitely more than you need from a couple nights in the city. The area is very close to the Center, and the transport links are great. Buses get you to the city centre in 15 minutes while walking will take you more like 25-30 min. Also they have a large supermarket in the same building, which is super convenient as they have plenty of choice. But beware â thereâs a homeless guy nestling right by the supermarket (that street can get some dodgy action at night). As per the accommodation, the biggest community there is composed of students - all very welcoming and friendly. Receptionists and staff are also very helpful. Feels like a hotel. Recommend đđť

Nice enough hotel but located way too far from the centre if youâre relying on public transport. If you have your own car then itâs probably ok. Typical fairly basic Novotel hotel room. Relatively low occupancy when we stayed so didnât notice any neighbour noise. Tram line was undergoing repair work when we were there which made it very inconvenient to get to the hotel.

Guest UserHotel was great!
The staff was very kind and nice. Our room was big and spacious, very clean, and everything worked perfectly.
The breakfast was good and the place had an overall nice vibe.
Itâs not very close to the city center, and there are some curious locations around it. A lot of restaurants and bars in the area, also some supermarkets.
I would recommend this place if you are young and energetic and if you donât mind the 20 minute walk to the city center.
But over all it was a very pleasant experience and a great place for the value!

Guest UserThe hotel was nice and super clean, well situated, close to transport.
The only problem is that they put the heat up really high. Looks like itâs a common heater for all rooms. We had about 40°C in our room and the bathroom.
We asked to the front desk clerk if they could turn it off. They said they would but they didnât. He had to sleep half naked and with both windows open because it was extremely hot inside the room. At the end of March I think itâs a little too much.

Value-for-Money Stay with Room for Improvement
Hotel Diplomatic offers good value for money, especially with its comfortable beds and quality pillows which made for a restful stay. The breakfast spread was generous and satisfying. However, some finishesâparticularly the flooringâcould use a refresh to better reflect the hotelâs 4-star rating. It would also be helpful to have insect screens on the windows, especially since the air conditioning is centrally controlled. While the location is a bit removed from the main attractions, it's still reasonable considering the price point.
