"Five-star recommendation for Quanzhou Lushih Homestay, the most delightful stay of my Quanzhou trip! The location is absolutely perfect, tucked away in a small alley off West Street. It's a two or three-minute walk directly to the East and West Pagodas of Kaiyuan Temple, and stepping out, you're surrounded by authentic local snacks. It's a rare find—peaceful amidst the hustle and bustle; closing the courtyard gate completely shields you from the street noise. Converted from a standalone Southern Fujian courtyard, the design is gentle yet refined. Lush greenery fills the small courtyard with an amazing atmosphere. The rooftop terrace is a hidden gem for photos, offering a 270-degree direct view of the twin pagodas. You can watch the sunset in the evening and capture stunning shots of the ancient city lights at night. The room was impeccably clean, the latex mattress was soft and comfortable for a good night's sleep. Smart toilet, hot water, and toiletries were all well-equipped, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring an undisturbed night's rest. The butler service was meticulous and heartwarming. Upon check-in, we received a hand-drawn guide to the ancient city's hidden gems, along with recommendations for local secret eateries, and any requests were met with super-fast responses. The common areas are elegantly decorated, with a tea corner, a small intangible cultural heritage exhibition hall, and you can even experience writing wax-sealed letters to your future self—thoughtful details are everywhere. It's a godsend for self-driving tourists, as it comes with an underground parking lot, directly solving the parking problem in the old city. Breakfast features local old-brand mianxian hu (vermicelli paste) with vinegar-marinated pork, and traditional pastries are complimentary for afternoon tea. The value for money is exceptional, suitable for couples, girlfriends, and families alike. I will definitely stay at Lushih again on my next visit to Quanzhou!"

"This guesthouse boasts an excellent location, right within the West Street of the ancient city. The 3rd-floor rooftop offers fantastic views for photographing the Kaiyuan Temple twin pagodas, easily rivalling popular cafes. I personally witnessed the bedding being changed after each guest, so hygiene is definitely assured. The owner is also very friendly and welcoming. Given the low price, it's incredible value for money. Highly recommended!"

"It's a surprise to choose the Orange Hotel with your partner! The overall warm orange decoration is warm and romantic, and the light orange fragrance is super healing when entering the door. The room is clean and spacious, the smart lighting curtains in the whole house are full of atmosphere, and the mattress is soft and soundproof. The wet and dry separation bathroom is equipped with orange fragrance wash and care, and the light mirror is very beautiful to take pictures. The front desk service is intimate, the travel is convenient, the first choice for couples to stay on dates, and the next trip will come!"

"The room is next to the Qingyuan Mountain ticket gate, and there is a bus stop. It is very convenient. The Kaiyuan Temple West Street bus is directly accessible. There are two museums on the way, West Lake, and a leisurely stay for two nights. It is very good. At that time, the housing was in short supply, like opening a blind box, I lived on the first floor, but there was no damp feeling at all, and the waiter's service attitude was super good. The large balcony on the roof was also very good. The scenery was good. You can also drink tea on it. I took a bag of cinnamon from the boss that day, it was delicious!"

The environment inside is acceptable, nothing special, but considering the relatively affordable price, don't have too high expectations. Its advantage lies in its proximity to attractions like West Street, Kaiyuan Temple, and the Bell Tower. As a solo traveler, I didn't have high demands for my accommodation, so I chose a place close to these attractions."
