Mountain View Hotels in Nantou

As with the other reviews, the service here is amazing. You have the option to have your breakfast delivered to your room. During check-in, the staff will personally bring you to your room. If you arrived early or plan to leave sun moon lake much later after check out, you can leave your bags or luggage to the staff to keep. Staff here also offers tickets to the ferry, bicycle rental, cable car and other services available. The only con is that there is no lakeview, but everything else is very accessible. Bus station, Ferry station, 7-11 and restaurants are just a few minutes walk from the hotel. As for the room itself, the toilet is equipped with bidet. There's also some snacks and teabags for you. Electric mosquito repellent is also available if there's a need to, but I did not encounter any bugs in the room. Room is also modernly designed and most importantly, clean and bugs-free! Bed is of soft and comfortable type. I nearly dozed off while lying on bed. Wifi's strong as well. Would highly recommend to others who plans to visit sun moon lake. This hotel has almost everything you need, convenience, amazing service, and good food.

we really enjoyed our stay! the room was really nice and spacious, for 3 people to put out our luggages, bed is comfy as well. the breakfast is yummy and homey-feeling and the CAT IS SUPER CUTE, to future guests reading this, it loves chin scratches :”) location wise was okay, the walk in was not too bad, we did go out for sunrise and late at night, 10-15 mins walk downhill to reach swiss garden area for 7eleven/some food options. the uphill walk is quite tiring, will recommend taking a bus all the up and make your way down for activities. the only thing was that we didnt get to stargaze at night as it was too cloudy during our stay :( there are flies in qing jing so make sure to keep the insect netting closed! lovely owners/staff!

We chose this villa primarily for its convenient location, with a bus stop right outside near the 7-Eleven. From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with the place. The villa is beautifully decorated, and best of all, the rooms, restaurant, and café all face the mountains, offering a peaceful and scenic view. The bed was very comfortable, thoughtfully equipped with one firm pillow and one soft pillow. A lovely bonus was the heated bed, which was especially comforting on cold days. Breakfast was simple yet satisfying. We also booked dinner upon arrival and enjoyed a guest discount. The six-course fusion Chinese-Western dinner exceeded our expectations — each dish was well prepared and of excellent quality. A truly delightful stay. Highly recommend for stay, high tea or dinner!

The service was excellent. Renting bicycles was very convenient (right downstairs), and the accommodation included a bicycle voucher (electric bikes cost extra, but it's worth it). The cycling route was suitable for families with children (they won't ride onto main roads). Different breakfasts were provided for two-night stays (only available from 8:30 AM; a special breakfast could be had at 7:30 or 8:00 AM, allowing for an earlier start to the day's itinerary 😊). The bathroom was spacious, making it easy for adults to bathe children. The designated parking lot (Zhongxing Parking Lot) was large and located in front of the guesthouse (parking on holidays costs NT$250 per day, during which time vehicles can freely enter and exit). The pillows were on the softer side, the mattress was comfortable, and the room had heating. There was enough desk in the room. The elevator was very convenient!

The room was clean and spacious, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel is ideally located in Shuishe, a stop for the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle, offering convenient transportation while still being quiet. It's just a 10-minute walk to the Sun Moon Lake Visitor Center where you can catch the Taiwan Tourist Shuttle and the round-the-lake bus. Since there aren't many shops or food stalls in Shuishe at night, we chose a room package that included dinner. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style at the hotel, allowing us to relax and enjoy, offering great value for money. The in-room bathtub was perfect for a hot soak, which was very convenient. The service was excellent, and both my friend and I were very satisfied. We'd be happy to book this hotel again next time.

We had a wonderful stay here. The quadruple room was spacious and comfortable for all four of us. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from the cable car and near Formosan. Even though communication was handled online, the customer support team responded promptly and was very helpful. We were also able to buy food from a nearby convenience store and enjoy it in the pantry area even after checkout, which we really appreciated. Would definitely come back again.

I fully enjoyed my stay at Sun Moon Lake Hotel in terms of their hospitality and beautiful & peaceful location. They have supported me to get to one of the old tea farm which needs special transportation arrangement by arranging a very attentive and helpful driver. They are located at a peaceful quintet location which is about 15 min walk from Suishe visitor centre also nearby secret small water area where fireflies appears at night of spring season. They have a free bicycle service too so I could also fully enjoy both cycling and morning walk to see sunrise at a quiet wooden boardwalk. I would like to come back at the next firefly season. We had a great stay! The host was incredibly helpful and friendly, providing excellent recommendations for local attractions and even helping us secure discounted tickets. The room was clean and offered a beautiful view. A highlight was the breakfast—simple yet delicious. To top it off, the host kindly arranged for staff to drop us off at the Shuishe main bus station. Truly thoughtful service! 老板非常热情友好，不仅细心为我们介绍当地景点，还帮我们代订了优惠门票，非常方便。房间整洁干净，窗外的景观也很棒。最赞的是这里的早餐，简单却非常美味。离开时，老板还贴心地安排员工开车送我们到水社码头客运站，真的非常感谢

The hotel is super close to 7-Eleven and also very near Cingjing Farm. The balcony is amazing, with a rocking chair and lots of cats! They are super cute! Breakfast was delicious, and the room was incredibly warm – not cold at all, even during a cold snap. Overall, it's very clean, except for a slight leak in the bathroom faucet. Highly recommend it! I'd love to stay here again next time.

I stayed at this hotel one night. The hotel provides free bikes. When I tried to check out a bike, two staff members talked to me. When I asked which bike I could ride faster, they did not answer my question. Some bikes are just very slow no matter what we do, so I don't want to get one like that. When I asked how long it would take if I wanted to ride in each direction from the hotel without a stop, the male staff member answered my question, but the female staff member kept on talking ”Don't ride fast. You are going to get into accidents.” Whenever I talked about ”fast” like ”how fast”, ”how long it takes”, she just kept on talking ”Fast is not good.” I am a mature individual and I will not go fast if I could not. She just refused to provide information that I was looking for. As long as I return the bike intact, the rest is my own responsibility.
