The courtyard was very comfortable. There were many rooms available at check-in, but the owner let us choose. We ended up choosing Ting Mu Chan (Listening to the Cicadas at Dusk). There's a cozy terrace on the second floor. We got hungry late at night and went out to find food, and the owner left a light on for us. The air conditioning heating was just so-so, maybe because the room was quite empty. Overall, it was a good place. It's also close to Xiangao Ancient Town.

Staying for the second time, the experience was perfect! The location of the homestay is excellent and it is super convenient to go to various attractions. The lobby is spacious and bright, and it is also equipped with an elevator, and there is no pressure to carry luggage. I made an appointment for pick-up service, the service was warm, and the pick-up helped with the luggage, saving worry and effort. The sanitation is impeccable, the facilities are high-end, and the stay is particularly comfortable. There are discounts for booking scenic tickets through the homestay! It is definitely a high-quality choice for Wuyuan!

Hello. We are a couple from Holland and are spending our third week of our vacation in China in Huangling cun. We planned to only spend one night in Huangling but we were enjoying ourselves here so much that we extended our stay with an extra night. The B&B is located at the top of the mountain and our room at the B&B was also on the topfloor. The hallways on each floor and the room itself are tastefully decorated with an eye for detail. The room is fully equipped. All is looking tidy and sparkling clean. The door next gives access to a roof terrace with laundry facilities and wiring for hanging clothes to dry. The boss (Mme Zhan) gave us a warm welcome and came down the mountain to pick us up where the taxi driver could not go any further up. Although we booked the Tatami room she suggested us to move into the room next door. That one comes with a balcony. We gladly accepted her advice. After having refreshed ourselves in the room she showed us the footpath up the mountain that leads to the entrance. She told us to contact her via Wechat at the end of the evening so that she could bring us back to the hotel again. The next morning she brought us down the mountain so that we could have breakfast near the bus station. from there we could easily take the bus to another beautiful old village in the neighbourhood, Likeng. The boss dropped us off and wished us a good day. We did not know that while we were eating the went back up to the B&B and came down again to bring us an umbrella to provide shelter from rain or sunshine. We did not request this. We very much appreciated this kind and polite gesture. We had a great time in Huangling village on our first day. Our second day was in Likeng village. The atmosphere in Likeng was very relaxing. It felt really authentic and the people here are very friendly and welcoming. Thank you boss and thank you all fine people in Huangling village and Likeng village. We had the time of our lives in your beautiful villages 😍

The guesthouse is located near the cable car, just a few minutes' walk away, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The owner is very kind and can even provide pick-up and drop-off services! The guesthouse has its own parking lot, which is also very convenient. The bedding was clean, soft, and smelled of sunshine, making it very comfortable to sleep in. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet area and was completely odor-free; the attention to detail was excellent. The owner was very responsive, providing everything from check-in instructions to recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions. They were incredibly helpful, even bringing us sunflower seeds, oranges, and drinks. The owner's wife was also very hospitable and kind! This place is absolutely beautiful. The hotel owner is a gem, he went out of his way numerous times to make sure that my stay was perfect. He picked me up from the train station in a grand car for a very fair fare. He also helped me rent a bike and even dropped me off on a beautiful road to cycle along to. Without him.I would have not been able to experience the beautiful countryside riding a bike, which is something I recommemd to anyone visiting the region. The land is so peaceful and preserved and you can stop in small non commercialized villages along your bike ride. Regarding my room, it was big, quiet, had an awesome view, the water temperature and pressure were adequate. It was also spotless clean and had a great sound system and projector screen. As for the location, the scenic area is just outside at the doorstep, but the hotel is very peaceful still. There is a nice Delonghi machine to make a good expresso in the morning. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe and cozy. I don't speak Chinese but this was not a problem - with the translator apps everything was easy. I recommend this hotel to anyone coming to beautiful Wuyuan!!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were extremely impressed with the exceptional service. The owner is incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Although the hotel does not have a lift, the owner personally helped carry our luggage to our room, which was greatly appreciated. The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-10 minutes walk from the entrance to the Wuyuan Huangling Scenic Area, and the owner kindly showed us the way. He also picked us up from the exit area after our visit. In addition, he arranged a taxi from the train station to the hotel at a very reasonable price, making our arrival smooth and stress-free. For the price we paid, we were truly impressed by the level of service provided. The room was clean and comfortable, and one of the great benefits of staying here is that guests do not need to pay for the cable car. There are also some local restaurants nearby, which made it very convenient. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Huangling. The outstanding hospitality and excellent value made our stay even more memorable.

We stayed for 3 days in this lovely hotel, the lady running the place was really nice and helped us organising trips in the Wuyuan area. From the terrace you have a great view of the village and can take great photos. The rooms are spacious and offer everything you need. The lobby/ breakfast area has a lot of charme, since all the furniture is from another era and so the place just feels very original and homey. Even though on 2 of 3 days we were the only guests, we got a full buffet of delicious Chinese food for breakfast, including a good coffee. The organised trips with Mister Yu were such a pleasure, he showed us the best spots in the area and was a really good driver.

The room was exceptionally spacious and clean, with a great view from the window. There's free parking, but spaces are limited. The owner was very helpful and assisted with our luggage. We ate both breakfast and dinner at the guesthouse. The owner's cooking was very clean and hygienic. Before coming, I read on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform) that many people experienced vomiting and diarrhea after eating in tourist areas, so I was hesitant to eat out. However, the guesthouse has its own kitchen, so I felt safe eating there. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. They even gave us a packet of tea they grew themselves before we left. I would definitely choose this guesthouse again if I have the chance!

This is our third week travelling through China. Our stay at Wuli Shanshui Wenquan Dujia Jiudian. Mentioning the full name of this hotel pretty much gives you a full description of what you will likely experience. A lot of good value for money! The hotel is situated at the bank of a river and behind the river you will see beautiful forested hills. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon you will hear the birds singing. Your stay in this hotel comes with free entrance tickets to the hotpools, each with its own theme. You have the Danggui, the Red Wine, the Green Oasis, the Milk and Red Vinegar pools. We spent about 10 minutes in each of them. Relax, take time to have the body adjust to the temperature. I sat on the side with only my legs and hands under water. Later I let my body slide into the water fully. That night I slept like a baby and this morning I had a smooth soft skin, like a baby 😁 The rooms are fully equipped with all necessities and the reception was very helpful. We got a fruit basket as a welcoming gift. Unfortunately there was no restaurant service but the reception helped us to order in lunch and dinner from a nearby restaurant. All we had to do was to pick from the menu and send the order to the reception via Wechat. For a modest fee our lunch, dinner and cold beers were delivered to our room 👍 The breakfast buffet offered great variety with fresh Ginseng fruit and mini tomatoes. We liked it here so much that we booked a second night. There is so much to explore in the neighbourhood with the beautiful old villages of Likeng and Wangkou nearby. Thank you! 🙏

We came for a biking holiday. We stayed 4 nights. We left every morning on a different biking route. Lots of roads and villages. We each had a guest room. I was disappointed that I had the smallest room but they thought I wanted to be on the same floor as my friends. They moved me to the 2nd floor and now I had the same HUGE place as my friends. In the sitting room, is an L-shaped couch. It pulls out as a bed. So I guess this room could fit up to 4 people. The shower is huge. There is plenty of space to wash our bikes. The sauna/hot air thing was great for drying our clothes too! Had we been more people, we probably would have rented one of the bigger places and shared instead of getting our own guest rooms. It's fairly quiet. Breakfast was served in a separate traditional building. Normal Chinese breakfast, but asked for the noodles with the fried eggs! The kitchen staff were very accommodating when we asked if we could have breakfast at 7 am. Also, we asked for a late check-out because we wanted to shower after our ride. They let each of us have our rooms till 4pm at no charge. It would be great if the stone tiles could be power washed as it was quite slippery when it rained. I didn't have my driver's license but I needed to go pick up my friend and his broken bike. So I went back to ask the manager if he could drive our car 35 km to pick up my friend. He was happy to drive me! The sign to the guest house was not installed but if you look for the castle-like building, you'll find it. It was tricky getting to the hotel because we arrived late and it was absolutely chucking down with rain. This is a great, gorgeous place if you want peace and quiet. My room had a river view. Great for relaxation. Highly recommend this place.
