Host and hostess are the most friendly and helpful people we met on this trip. They went out of their way to help us settle in. Seeing that I was travelling with my elderly mother and we were drained after our Udo trip before checking in, they helped us drive out to buy fried chicken for our dinner. We were taken aback by their kind gesture and really appreciate it. We were also served homemade drinks, which are the best we had, its much better than the drinks we had at other cafes. The room itself is very interesting, the rooftop can be opened to view the sky and let in the breeze. There is a nightsky cam in the room that we can turn on in the night to view the ”nightsky”. This is definitely one of the most interesting places we stayed in. I have fallen in love with Jeju and I will definitely stay in Igloo Pension when I visit Jeju again. Best place to stay ever!!!

We stayed here for 6 nights and had a very comfortable and pleasant experience—it truly felt like a home away from home. Housekeeping is done daily, which was a big plus. They replenished one 2-litre water bottles, provided four small towels, and emptied the trash every day, keeping the room consistently clean and tidy. The room comes with a small kitchenette that is well equipped with cutlery, drinking glasses, shot glasses, a kettle, microwave, and a full-size household refrigerator with both freezer and fridge compartments. There is also an electric stove, though the only downside is that no pots or pans are provided, so cooking is limited. One of the highlights is the large, human-sized window that can be opened to let in fresh air, along with an amazing scenic view outside. The bathroom is clean and modern, designed in soothing neutral tones. They provide good-quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and the high-pressure shower is excellent—perfect for a refreshing bath after a long day. The TV includes Netflix access without needing to log in to your own account, which is very convenient. The owner is extremely kind and friendly. Since we had a longer stay, she kindly allowed us to use the washing machine, provided clothes hangers, and arranged a place for us to air-dry our laundry, which was very thoughtful. The location is excellent—directly opposite the property is a 24-hour 7-Eleven. In the early morning, there’s also a café at the lobby selling coffee and baked goods, which is especially helpful as many eateries in Jeju only open around 10:30 am. One thing to note: check-in should be done early, as the staff do not work overnight. After 7:30 pm, there will be no one available to hand over keys. Overall, this is a very welcoming place, and we truly appreciated the comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality. We would definitely return and stay here again.

It's good with glass windows I had a Dutch coffee in the morning, looking at the sea. Those who don't take bottled water! There is also a water purifier inside the hostel ㅎ Thank you for your careful consideration.

The homestay is very large, clean and the surrounding environment is very quiet. You can reach the beach within 10 minutes on foot, and you can see the sea at home. Sitting on the balcony at night, you can hear the sound of the waves, which is very healing. I got up in the morning and saw the cats walking. The landlord is Korean and will send relevant messages to assist in check-in before check-in. We booked a room type for 5-6 people. It is very cheap to split it equally. There is a living room, dining room kitchen and separate bathroom downstairs, double bed room; There is a separate bathroom on the second floor, 2 single beds and a big bed room, enough for 6 people, all equipped with air conditioning, air conditioning is very quiet, wifi can be used directly without a password! Very cost-effective. It should be noted that it is best to sort it yourself when you check in and throw garbage. The kitchen has food trash cans, and there are recyclable trash cans and ordinary garbage trash cans in the entrance hall. The stay experience is great! Highly recommended!

Location is remote and lack of signage. Lack of lighting outside, would be difficult if go at night. The owners are elderly who are very nice. However, my SIM cards can’t call, so lack of communication channel as they couldn’t communicate via WhatsApp, line or other app. The room is clean and big for 2 persons, with basic amenities, towels, shampoo, hair conditioners, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrush. With basic equipment for cooking, hot and cold water machine, smart TV. The amenities meet the 4-star hotel standard. Remark: Didn’t able to manage the heater in the room. Sometimes too hot and sometimes too cold. As my phone couldn’t call, didn’t settle finally. Friendly reminder to ask the owner when check in Tips: When take shower, need to keep turn on the water tap. If turn off and turn on again, need to wait for hot water again

리뷰 보고 예약했는데, 말 그대로 사장님께서 참 친절하세요.. 구경 다니다 숙소 언제 갈지 몰라 도착해서 베이비 풀 사용 여부 여쭤 보려 했는데 오후 5시 좀 넘어서 도착했더니 반갑게 맞이해 주셨어요. 연락처가 이상하게 되어 있어 연락을 못하셨다고 하시면서 베이비 풀 사용 할 거냐고 먼저 물어 봐주시고, 겨울이라 늦은 시간인데도 사용 할 수 있냐고 여쭤보니 청소하고 해주시겠다고 하셨어요.(2시간 반정도 소요) 마침 사용할 방에 풀 타일이 훼손 되어 수리 해야 된다며, 옆 방으로 옮겨서 사용하게 해주셨어요. 우리가 간 날은 평일이고 비성수기라 마침 방이 비어있어서 가능했어요. (애들이 추운데도 물 속은 따뜻하니 엄청 좋아 했어요.. 한 시간 정도 놀았는데 재밌어 했어요.) 방 옮기느라 쌀쌀하다며 온풍기도 주시고, 모닝 커피도 주시고, 아침 제공 안되는 걸로 알고 있어서 나가서 먹으려는데, 마지막 날엔 신경 써서 챙겨주셔서 너~~무 감사했어요.. 남편 일 때문에 여행을 잘 못 가서 정말 오랜만에 갔다 왔는데, 정말 잘 쉬고 좋은 추억 쌓고 와서 좋으네요^^

This is an excellent hotel for a peaceful getaway. There are plenty of amenities nearby, including a couple of shops, cafes, restaurants, and souvenir stores. It might be a bit tricky without a car due to the road layout, but that's typical for those traveling around Jeju. Waking up to the sound of the waves is incredible, and the view from the window is absolutely stunning. The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming. Even if you don't speak Korean, they'll actively communicate with you using a translator and are always ready to help. I have nothing but positive feelings about this hotel. Good luck and prosperity to your business! If I'm ever in Jeju again, I'll definitely book this place.

Huge thanks to the owner and friends at Daol Guesthouse! This was truly the luckiest and most unforgettable experience of my solo trip to Korea. Daol Guesthouse boasts all sea-view rooms, spread across three independent buildings. You can open your curtains in the morning to a beautiful view of the beach, surrounded by lush greenery. The room was spotless, with amenities like a microwave and induction hob, making it very convenient for cooking. Udo Island has two ferry terminals, and the guesthouse is very close to one of them. You can arrange for a pick-up and drop-off with them in advance, which is super helpful. On the day I arrived, I mistakenly went to the other terminal. Since I didn't have a Korean phone number, I walked for a long time to reach the guesthouse (I later learned I could have contacted their online customer service for a pick-up). The scenery on Udo Island was breathtaking in the evening after the rain. I just followed the coastal path right to Daol Guesthouse. The owner and their friends were incredibly kind and looked after me when they saw me arrive alone in the evening rain. Because it was so late and there weren't many restaurants offering single-person meals, they invited me to have Korean BBQ with them at the guesthouse! The BBQ was delicious, and the guesthouse was so welcoming! The next day, the guesthouse drove me and my luggage to a place near the ferry terminal where I could rent an electric bike and even helped me get it sorted. On my second afternoon, I needed to leave the island and return to Jeju City. I had a lot of luggage, and taking the bus would have been inconvenient. The guesthouse owner's friend gave me a ride all the way back to Jeju City and dropped me off right in front of my hotel! I'm so grateful to Daol Guesthouse for this Udo Island trip. I feel so lucky I chose them, and I'll never forget it. I'll definitely come back to Udo Island again in the future, and I'll choose Daol Guesthouse once more. But next time, I'll stay for a few more days. Udo Island's beauty deserves to be savored and experienced deeply. The deserted country lanes on Udo Island in the evening after the rain are incredibly beautiful – if you get the chance, you must experience them. It's a completely different vibe from the daytime!

Room B201 Review The place appears to have been remodeled, but there are still some worn-out corners. The sliding door facing the ocean wasn’t very clear, which slightly affected the view. The bed was very soft, which may not be ideal for everyone depending on personal preference. We did experience some strange knocking or noise at the door in the middle of the night. However, everything turned out to be fine—we believe it was likely due to the strong wind. The general area could be improved, as there were construction items left around. It wasn’t very pleasant to see, especially when going down the stairs. On the positive side, there are parking lots available, and the property is located near the ocean, which is great for a relaxing morning or evening stroll. Overall, the stay was okay for the price. The photos online seem more polished than the actual condition in reality

The room had a large and a small bed, which was plenty of space for one person. Though the facilities were a bit dated, it was spotlessly clean and very hygienic. Overall, I was very satisfied, especially considering the price point. At just over 100 RMB for a night, it offered excellent value.
