CYnicegirlBefore arriving, I was quite concerned about the extra bed situation, but after repeated communication and confirmation, we checked in smoothly. The room was incredibly spacious, and everything was just right. We were on a lower floor, the 11th, which I actually liked because it offered a perfect view of the 8th-floor pool and also a nice city view. The area is super convenient, with all the food and drinks we wanted just around the corner. The shuttle bus was free, and I didn't encounter any discriminatory or rude staff members.

Generally good commmnents for Astar hotel. Not far from airport (around 3KM), Taxi to downtown and restaurant streest is more convenient (around 20-30 RMB). My daughter likes breakfast because of fresh orange juice, korean dishes, reheating bread and sausages. Like looking smiles everyday from waiters and waitress of restaurant.
It's clean and efficient for room service everyday; front desk service also quite good, quick check in and out, I always see the looks GM sir walks around at loobby and restaurnt saying hello to guests in the early morning. I appreciate this atmosphere in Jeju trip.

Guest UserFive-star price for three-star amenities, I'd say.
We booked a sea-view family room. The first night, the view was great; you opened the curtains right onto the ocean. The second day, we returned from an outing around 8 PM, and when we opened the door, the bathroom had a terrible sewage smell. The staff were very nice about it; we packed up our bags that night and moved to a different room. This one overlooked the pool. They gave us four coffee vouchers, bringing the total to six, including the ones we got at check-in. These vouchers were only good for Americano or bayberry juice at the hotel coffee shop. After settling into the new room, we found the air conditioning wasn't cooling. I didn't dare unpack. I reported it to the front desk, and again, their attitude was excellent; they sent someone to fix it right away. After the repair, it still wasn't cooling. I told the front desk again. They said their system showed the temperature was dropping and asked us to wait a bit longer. By this time, it was past 10 PM, and the kids were getting sleepy, so we just unpacked and showered. After our showers, the maintenance staff came again, worked on it for a long time, and then told us we'd have to move rooms again. I was furious! It was almost midnight, and we had to pack up again and move to a family room with bunk beds, still overlooking the pool. Finally, I proactively asked for four breakfast vouchers, and they were very polite and didn't hesitate to give them to us. At around 5 AM, I was woken up by a bird pecking at the window. I couldn't shoo it away; it would leave for a bit and then come right back. It was so annoying I just had to laugh.

cocolee6The hotel lobby offered welcome drinks in the afternoon. The room was clean. This time, our deluxe sea-view family room (636) had a balcony with an unbeatable view, and we had a very comfortable stay. The swimming pool is small and shallow, really just for soaking, not actual swimming. The operating hours (13:00-21:00) are a bit awkward, making it impossible to use for those arriving late in the afternoon for a one-night stay. However, the sea view is a big plus, so I would choose this hotel again in the future.

Pros: 5 stars hotel. Room was great, clean and big. We stayed here for a night as we were on the way back to Jeju City from Seogwipo. Price was very reasonable. Hotel is in theme with the themepark, and very big. Saw many other guests going to the outdoor swimming pool thought it was very cold.
Convenient only if you are driving!
Cons: location was very far off. Dinner options (only buffet $90/pax) in hotel was very expensive. We drove out to have dinner. Not much amenities surrounding the hotel. Drive out 10-15 mins to nearby food town, which has ilpum sundubu, and one 7-11 convenience store.

Guest UserThe room floor was quite dirty and sticky to walk on. The bathroom mirror and crevices were also dirty. Everything had a charge, no complimentary water. The exterior environment was very nice, with large green spaces and woods. The pool was good, but it cost money to use, and parents with children had to be present and also pay. Even the lounge chairs had a fee, which was my biggest complaint. The location is excellent, right across from Shilla Duty Free, and there are many delicious restaurants and cosmetic shops nearby.

psyloveI booked a deluxe twin room, which came with one large bed and one small bed. The room was 30 square meters and very comfortable. It had a mini-fridge, hand soap, shampoo, and shower gel, but you need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. Downstairs, there's a Starbucks and a GS25 where you can link a child's Tmoney card, and Lotte Duty Free is right next door. There's a bus stop in front of the hotel, making it convenient for both taxis and buses. The front desk staff can speak simple Chinese, which made communication easy. Highly recommended!

Kara TaiThe facilities are clean and the location overlooking the sea has a wonderful view. The bed is quite comfortable and the room is spacious.
Language barrier can be a bit tough and the bath towels could be upgraded and renewed.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

Guest UserChoosing Sono Belle Hotel for our family trip to Jeju was an excellent decision – it made traveling with kids a breeze!
The hotel's location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from Hamdeok Beach. The gentle slopes and small waves make it super safe for kids to play in the sand and wade in the water, and it's easily accessible even with a stroller. Our ocean view room offered a fantastic vista, with a balcony directly facing the beautiful blue sea and sky. Waking up to the sunrise and enjoying the sea breeze in the evening made for incredible photos.
The room itself was spacious and clean. The family room had ample space and came with a separate kitchen and a refrigerator, which was incredibly convenient for preparing baby food and warming milk. We even received a complimentary Korean meal kit upon check-in, which was easy to make and a lovely touch.
The amenities are very family-friendly: free parking, stable WiFi, and a souvenir shop in the lobby. There are also plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making dining and shopping very convenient. Although there isn't a dedicated kids' club, the beach and surrounding walking paths offer plenty of opportunities for kids to burn off energy. Overall, it offers great value for money and is an ideal choice for a family vacation in Jeju.

The Hide City was a comfortable place to stay that is less than 15 minutes from the airport via taxi. There was a washing machine and a place to cook if you chose to. There is also a place to store your luggage before you check in. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I would consider staying here again if I go to Jeju City.
