Jeju City Hotels with Pools

The hotel's sea view is absolutely stunning, and the owner is warm and provides excellent service. The accommodation is very comfortable, and the surrounding restaurants, convenience stores, and transportation are quite convenient. It's about a 40-minute taxi ride to the airport and around 30 minutes to Shilla Duty-Free in the city center. You can go for a morning run along the coastline, and the sunsets are also incredible. It was a fantastic experience.

Five-star price for three-star amenities, I'd say. We booked a sea-view family room. The first night, the view was great; you opened the curtains right onto the ocean. The second day, we returned from an outing around 8 PM, and when we opened the door, the bathroom had a terrible sewage smell. The staff were very nice about it; we packed up our bags that night and moved to a different room. This one overlooked the pool. They gave us four coffee vouchers, bringing the total to six, including the ones we got at check-in. These vouchers were only good for Americano or bayberry juice at the hotel coffee shop. After settling into the new room, we found the air conditioning wasn't cooling. I didn't dare unpack. I reported it to the front desk, and again, their attitude was excellent; they sent someone to fix it right away. After the repair, it still wasn't cooling. I told the front desk again. They said their system showed the temperature was dropping and asked us to wait a bit longer. By this time, it was past 10 PM, and the kids were getting sleepy, so we just unpacked and showered. After our showers, the maintenance staff came again, worked on it for a long time, and then told us we'd have to move rooms again. I was furious! It was almost midnight, and we had to pack up again and move to a family room with bunk beds, still overlooking the pool. Finally, I proactively asked for four breakfast vouchers, and they were very polite and didn't hesitate to give them to us. At around 5 AM, I was woken up by a bird pecking at the window. I couldn't shoo it away; it would leave for a bit and then come right back. It was so annoying I just had to laugh.

While there are many great hotels in Jeju, and a night at the JW Marriott can easily cost over 5,000 RMB, the Grand Hyatt offers the most reliable balance of price, location, and quality. Its location is truly its biggest advantage, situated in the iconic twin towers in the bustling heart of Jeju City, making the building instantly recognizable. Shilla Duty-Free Shop is just a ten-minute walk away, Lotte Duty-Free is also nearby, and a large E-Mart supermarket is right next door. There are countless cafes and small restaurants in the vicinity, so you can easily sort out all your dining, entertainment, and shopping needs within 500 meters of the hotel. Overall Experience: Staying at the Grand Hyatt Jeju is stress-free, even if you don't speak Korean. The hotel is filled with Chinese signage – in the elevators, by restaurant entrances, and next to the pool – often more Chinese signs than Korean ones. The 220V power outlets in the room don't require an adapter, making this hotel practically the safest choice if it's your first time in Jeju. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offer a good view, and while it's not a sea view, the scenery outside is still pleasant. The room's interior is identical to the sea view rooms. The room floor was quite dirty and sticky to walk on. The bathroom mirror and crevices were also dirty. Everything had a charge, no complimentary water. The exterior environment was very nice, with large green spaces and woods. The pool was good, but it cost money to use, and parents with children had to be present and also pay. Even the lounge chairs had a fee, which was my biggest complaint. The location is excellent, right across from Shilla Duty Free, and there are many delicious restaurants and cosmetic shops nearby.

The hotel boasts an excellent location right by the sea, with convenient access to public transportation. There are plenty of great local eateries nearby; compared to the tourist-centric restaurants downtown, these offer much better value for money. Plus, there's even an Instagram-famous McDonald's! The rooftop infinity pool is fantastic. Although it's not huge, it doesn't detract from the enjoyment of swimming. The water temperature is especially comfortable, giving it a hot spring-like feel. Breakfast offers a good variety, including some local specialties. The front desk staff are professional and patient, always ready to assist with any questions.

I had such a happy stay! It's been renovated, so it's clean and quiet. I stayed for three nights, and the staff were incredibly kind, even changing the bedding without me asking. For the best views, I recommend the main resort building. If you're in the hotel building, definitely check out the karaoke! My three nights were so comfortable and happy! Thank you so much!

Seamless check-in experience due to self check in kiosk. Staff was able to assist with storage of breast milk. Room was spacious with a spacious bath tub and a beautiful ocean view. However, gym was stuffy and no water filter or towels provided. So do take note. Basic gym equipments in a small room. Overall, still enjoyed my time here. If you’re a foreigner, do wait for the staff to finish checking your room before officially checking out. If you’re a local, I observed to be quite instant. So there is quite a local first, foreigners second service here. But to each its own. Just be patient and be happy.

Since my flight arrived at night, I chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport. I hopped on the 365 bus right after leaving the airport and got off in less than ten minutes. The road was pitch black with no pedestrians. Being alone, I was quite scared and practically ran the whole way. It took me about fifteen minutes to reach the hotel, which felt a bit out of the way. The guy at the front desk was very friendly, and the room was clean. However, anyone can go up the elevator, which made me a bit uneasy. The price was great, and I'd recommend it if you're traveling with friends or family. Many Korean guests stay here.

Overall, a pretty good stay for four consecutive nights. The beach is just a 10-minute leisurely walk away. The air conditioning in the room was a bit noisy, but it didn't really bother us. The room itself was very comfortable and spacious.

The location is amazing; I appreciate that room service checks in daily, providing bottled water and coffee regularly while also changing towels. We were there for 7 nights, by the way. I rated the service a 4, not due to the room service or location. I believe extending early check-in would enhance the experience. We arrived at 9 AM since our flight landed early, but early check-in was not permitted. After the 12-hour flight, we were exhausted and intended to rest that day, but we lounged on the couch until 3 PM before checking in. What frustrates me is the male receptionist. We sat on the couch for more than 6 hours, just waiting until people showed up around 2 pm, and I noticed that they let them check in immediately despite it being 2 pm. So, I approached the receptionist, and to my surprise, they allowed us to check in even though it was still 2 pm. The receptionist showed no courtesy to inform us, even though they were aware that we had been waiting. In general, the location is excellent, the bed is cozy, the area is tidy, it's unfortunate we didn't take advantage of the pool. However, everything, including the view, is absolutely worth it. A tip for future bookers, especially if you can't speak Korean: always use Google Translate.
