"This was genuinely one of the best days of my life. The service at this hotel is beyond amazing. They really pampered us in every way possible here. They offered to bring our lunch to us directly to our room, or have it ready by the time we went down to the dining area, which by the way has the most stunning panoramic view. The scenery is unforgettable, it’s straight out of a movie or cartoon, it’s just so perfect! We got the room with the rotating bed, tub, and balcony and couldn’t be happier! The food, drinks, amenities were all phenomenal and I genuinely cannot think of anything negative to write for them. We were at the point of our trip where we wanted a nice, relaxing stay with great service, and this ticked all those boxes! Our housekeepers and staff were Icey and Mayling, and they were beyond helpful even with the language barrier as I don’t speak Mandarin at all. Both them and the two female photographers who took great care of us deserve the world. If you are coming to Yangshuo, you NEED to book this hotel, it is a life changing experience. 15/10"

"This resort was a pleasant discovery. It is located in a very peaceful area, it has a large beautiful garden, and from the rooms it offers a stunning view of the beautiful landscape around. Our room was provided with all amenities, a terrace to sit peacefully and watch the mountains, and even a bathtub with an incredible view from the large windows. The breakfast was offered with local authentic food, which we found amazing.The resort also has a nice bar, where you can chill in the evening listening to vinyls and having well prepared cocktails. The staff and the property were friendly and helpful all the time, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and help us in our exploration of the area. Highly recommended, this is one you simply should not miss."

"This resort stay completely exceeded my expectations! The room was incredibly spacious, which was a pleasant surprise. It felt so open and allowed for easy movement, plus it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The 360-degree floor-to-ceiling windows offered an absolutely unbeatable view. Whether it was daytime or evening, the scenery was so stunning that I didn't even want to leave the room. I could just lie in bed and enjoy the view, and any photo I took looked like it belonged in a magazine. The hotel also features a private pool, offering excellent privacy. No need to share or crowd with others; I could swim whenever I wanted and quietly enjoy my own vacation time. The pool area itself had fantastic views too – swimming while admiring the scenery was truly idyllic. The service was also very attentive, making for an overall perfect experience. Next time I visit this area, I will definitely choose this hotel again. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a proper getaway, who appreciates beautiful views, and values comfort. You'll know how worthwhile it is once you've stayed!"

"Very cute hotel. They have two buildings - A is the historical styled and B is a standard hotel. Breakfast is in the lobby of building B and includes Rice noodles, sweet potato, egg and soy milk. The owner speaks some English but like many places, it might be easier to use WeChat. Through Wechat they were very attentive and asked us if we wanted more water or when we would be out so they could clean the room. The location is good as it is decently outside of Yangshuo main town and it feels more normal. There are small houses and restaurants around with farm animals. We were able to hire an e-scooter from the lady next to the entrance for 40 RMB which allowed us to continue onto the Shili gallery"

"This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! First off, the location is fantastic – step right out the door and you're on West Street (Xi Jie), making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The room was very spacious, more than enough for two people, and it even had a hot spring bath. The window offered a direct view of Yangshuo West Street. What really stood out was the attention to detail and the excellent service; customer service responded quickly to my questions, resolving them within minutes. The service was absolutely spot-on. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!"

"Came here specifically for the Instagram-worthy white pool, and it truly is beautiful and great for photos! If you're bringing kids, I recommend the family castle room; my little one absolutely loved it! The room decor is super cozy, and a bath in the room at night was so relaxing. There's even a slide inside, so the kids can play while I enjoy afternoon tea. It's conveniently located near West Street and the Yulong River. In the evening, they thoughtfully prepared a self-service selection of bedtime desserts and mung bean porridge – perfect for families with kids like us! Oh, and the breakfast was delicious, especially the Guilin rice noodles – absolutely amazing!"

"This place is more like a resort than a hotel! There's so many amenities and have absolutely stunning views right outside of your window. The location of this hotel is closer to nature so you won't feel like you're in a touristy area at all but more like you're staying at a quit retreat in nature where you can enjoy the true beauty of Yangshuo. If you're someone who likes to take pictures, they have flower gardens full of butterflies and mountain top coffee shops that directly faces the mountains. Not to mention they also have a photography studio inside of their hotel who takes amazing photos. They also have infinity pools that hotsprings that overlooks the mountains that are available to guests all day. The breakfast they offer is fantastic as well. I didn't even need to leave the hotel to taste authentic yangshuo specialties. They got them all within the hotel. I suggest staying here at least 3+ days. My stay was too short!"

"Had a wonderful stay! The large windows offered a breathtaking mountain view, which was truly delightful. The room was spacious and the facilities were excellent. We also enjoyed spending time on the rooftop terrace, soaking in the twilight and having some drinks – it was incredibly relaxing. For dining, we had to travel a short distance, but renting an e-bike from a local was easy, and we were there in no time. Cycling around the Ten-Mile Gallery was also a very pleasant experience. What exceeded my expectations was the hotel offering free traditional ethnic clothing for guests to borrow, perfect for taking photos if you want to try it out with your girlfriends! The hotel staff were also very friendly and always available to answer any questions. Overall, it was a fantastic hotel experience! Thank you."

"Right here in Yangshuo! I didn't want to check out, it was so good 😭 This hotel really understands what women want! The Cotton Castle Hotel truly left me speechless with its beauty. It felt like sinking into soft clouds, so gentle and soothing. The room had a separate wet and dry area, and all the facilities were well-equipped. There was even a thoughtful voice assistant, making check-in super easy. It also came with a huge bathtub, and soaking in it while enjoying the view was incredibly comfortable. With big floor-to-ceiling windows, I woke up feeling like I'd stepped into a fairyland. Being surrounded by green mountains and lush scenery as I woke up filled me with pure happiness. And it's absolutely perfect for photos! The whole place has a pure white, Instagrammable vibe, like cotton candy bubbles. There's also a carousel at the entrance, which kids absolutely love. The super dreamy cave pool is amazing for snapping some fantastic shots. The location is really convenient too. It's very close to the Impression Sanjie Liu show and West Street. Getting there by electric scooter takes only 3-5 minutes, making it super easy to get around. 📍 Yangshuo Cotton Castle Hotel If you're visiting Yangshuo, staying here is all you need!"
