"Feeling overwhelmed by the demands of work and longing for a breather, the Flower Blossoms in Fengxian, Shanghai, is my sanctuary of healing. I escape to this idyllic countryside for the weekend to rejuvenate! The resort is surrounded by a winding river, fields, and trees, and right now, the rapeseed flowers are in full bloom, turning the fields a golden yellow.
The blue and white tiled infinity pool in the courtyard is incredibly photogenic. Under the sunlight, the shimmering blue of the pool seems to hold back the summer heat, creating a scene reminiscent of Santorini – no filter needed!
Imagine lying on a beach chair, feeling the breeze, and simply letting your mind wander – all your work worries will vanish!
Next to the pool is a pink sand beach, a visually striking sight. The butler thoughtfully provided sand-digging tools, making it impossible to stop digging!
The resort's architecture consists of wabi-sabi style villas. I booked the Nude Residence, which opened to a private courtyard. Sunlight streamed into the room through the floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a fleeting glimpse into my ideal life.
I was completely captivated by their bathtub! The enormous tub faced the view, and soaking in it made me forget everything. Even better, the bed faced the large window, and the rapeseed flowers and green trees outside created a picturesque scene – my mood was indescribably wonderful! The rooms on the second floor held even more surprises – stargazing rooms! Lying there at night, gazing at the countless stars was incredibly romantic.
Thoughtfully, there was also a private bathroom on the second floor, so you didn't have to go downstairs.
The resort boasted a large lawn with several giant haystacks, a sight only found in Northwest China. Taking photos on those haystacks was a breeze! The craft workshop offered a variety of experiences, including printmaking, painting small pottery jars, and tie-dyeing. After completing your craft, you could take your creation home – a truly satisfying experience! I initially thought everyone here was staying, but surprisingly, nine out of ten people were there for coffee and milk tea. The afternoon tea was both beautiful and delicious, a real treat.
The resort offers two restaurants that you can switch between at your leisure: choose the Western restaurant for steak, or the Chinese restaurant for local cuisine. Both feature floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the surrounding countryside while you enjoy your meal.
As the sun sets, watch the fields bathed in its gentle and romantic light – this resort is simply irresistible!
The breakfast is piping hot and nutritious, perfect for starting your day full of energy. A weekend getaway for working professionals like yourself is all it takes to rejuvenate and recharge for the next day!"
