"This is a truly great hotel. The cleanliness was absolutely impeccable, almost perfect. I was amazed at how spotless it was; there wasn't a speck of dust even in the corners. The water pressure in the bathroom was also excellent. I couldn't hear any outside noise, and the bed was spacious and cozy, making it very comfortable to use. I will definitely stay at this hotel again if I have the chance to revisit."

"The room was clean; however, it was poorly lit, and the dark wall colors did not help at all. Although we chose a room without windows, we did not expect such poor ventilation or effectively none at all. Our room was located on the ground floor, and there was no reception, while the hotel Wi-Fi also did not work downstairs. Soundproofing was very poor, which contributed to a situation that left us quite dissatisfied. While my friend was in the common area trying to get a connection, she was disturbed by guests who were clearly intoxicated and were rude and abusive towards her. When I went to get her, I was also sworn at, and we quickly returned to our room to avoid the situation. She also noticed that several people passing through seemed to be familiar with these guests and did not acknowledgethe ongoing situation. Later in the evening, around 21:00, one guest began crying loudly and there was a heated argument between them and another guest. Due to the poor soundproofing, we could hear everything clearly. We tried contacting reception about the situation, but they did not answer our calls. We felt unsafe leaving the room. Eventually, someone came down and only asked the guests if they were okay, and the situation was left unresolved. The noise continued for quite some time, and our sleep was significantly disturbed. Overall, we felt unsafe staying here."

"The location is great, just a 10-minute walk to Calton Hill. However, we were assigned a basement room. We wanted to switch to an upstairs room, but the front desk told us they were fully booked. Luckily, it wasn't a completely subterranean room as it had a window, so it wasn't too bad. The room provided complimentary bottled water and sparkling water, which was a nice touch. On the downside, the soundproofing wasn't great; we could hear conversations and TV noise from the next room. Fortunately, it quieted down when we were ready to rest, so it didn't disturb our sleep."

The room was spotlessly clean and well-arranged, with incredibly comfortable bedding that ensured a fantastic night's sleep. The window soundproofing was excellent; despite being in a bustling area, the room was perfectly quiet. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the authentic Scottish breakfast was particularly delicious, providing a great start to our day. Overall, this was an accommodation experience that far exceeded my expectations. Whether for business travel or leisure, this is an outstanding choice. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit and highly recommend it to my friends!"

"Facilities: It seems there's no swimming pool. The hotel has a very Scottish style, not luxurious but full of character in its decor. Cleanliness: Good, no dust or anything. "The hotel is located in the city center, just a few minutes' walk from the train station, and backs onto Calton Hill. It's also within walking distance of landmarks like Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile, making its location excellent. There's a mall and plenty of restaurants right next door. However, the hotel facilities are dated, the room is small, and there are few power outlets. In the twin room, the two small beds are pushed together, and one side of the headboard has no outlets, which is inconvenient for charging at night. Check-in isn't until 3 PM, but luggage storage is available."

"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast offered a great variety of options. It's within walking distance to all the city's attractions. I especially recommend the Sofia Restaurant downstairs; their food is top-notch. The grilled lamb chops and stewed lamb shank were delicious and reasonably priced. I ended up eating there twice!"

"The hotel room and bathroom were indeed too small; there wasn't even enough space to open a suitcase, so it had to be stored under the bed. The view outside the room was decent. The main advantage is the hotel's excellent location, right opposite Haymarket. You can walk almost anywhere, which is incredibly convenient, and there are bus stops right outside. The hotel breakfast was just so-so, with limited variety and options. It was a typical English breakfast, not bad. The reception service was mediocre, especially the male front desk staff who gave me the wrong room number twice, even though I showed him the room number written down. "I can only say that I love and hate this hotel. I had a bad stay experience. Can you believe I spent 2,700 yuan to book a room in the basement? ! The pictures of the hotel room are seriously inconsistent with the reality. When booking, I noticed that the pictures of ordinary room types may be underground, so I specially booked a room type one level higher (the corresponding pictures on Ctrip also showed normal windows and floors), but when I arrived at the hotel, I was still arranged in the basement. The hotel manager explained that their rooms were not divided into floors, and after all the rooms upstairs were arranged that day, they arranged a room on the ground floor for us. Living underground was really unacceptable, so I had to accept the manager's recommendation and upgrade to a top-floor room for an additional 80 pounds. Environment: As shown in the picture, the view from the upgraded room is really great. The hotel is about a 20-minute walk from important attractions such as Princes Street and the Castle. The location is slightly far, but acceptable. Facilities: The room facilities are generally good. The hotel environment is very classic and well maintained. There is a parking lot at the back door, which is quite convenient. Hygiene: It may be that we changed rooms temporarily. After checking in, we found that the bathroom must have been used by someone, and there was also a used razor in the trash can. I wonder if the cleaning staff threw it away... Therefore, if you want to check in, it is recommended to determine the room type and floor in advance."
