Scenic Hotels in Hue

"Perfect vacation spot, away from the city. Takes about 10 min grab ride to the city and attractions. They upgraded us from a one bedroom villa to a two bedroom villa. Rooms r comfortable and clean. It has induction cooker, fridge and freezer, microwave, but no utensils provided (I believe you can ask for them). The private onsen in the apartment is clean and hot spring water is less warm than the public onsen. Would recommend visitors to go for both the public and private onsen to get the full experience. The public onsen (ie. They call it ”luxury onsen”) includes both indoor and outdoor hot spring pools, saunas and a cold bath... Similar to those in Japanese onsen (and even cleaner). Breakfast has a wide variety of choices, both Western and Asian. We took a full board plan (breakfast, lunch dinner) on our 3rd night. To be honest, we think that half board (breakfast and dinner only) is sufficient as the lunch and dinner menu at the Sasa café is the same. The landscape of the resort is pretty and many places to relax and enjoy the scenery. The only feedback I have is that there are ants indoors, in the room and on the cafe tables (unavoidable due to environment where the resort is located). The path leading to the apartment entrance has rocks, so be careful with your luggage. Lastly, service was excellent."

"This hotel was the most anticipated part of the entire trip to Hue. The resort was great, though a bit out of the way, requiring a taxi to get around. It had a retro feel but was clean and tidy, and everyone greeted us with a smile, creating a wonderful vacation atmosphere. The double room had an extra bed, and the breakfast included was great value. They even offered a wake-up service (I loved their flip-flops!). Because our train was at 6 AM the next day, we ate breakfast a day early – it was à la carte, and the yogurt was quite good. The receptionist even asked about our train time and thoughtfully prepared a convenient lunch for us when we left. There was also a cute little Year of the Horse gift – so sweet! It really boosted our mood. My parents were very satisfied with the trip. Thank you! I'll definitely recommend this hotel first in Hue. This is the first time I've written such a long review."

"The building is a bit old, but the views are incredible. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety, and we enjoyed it on the terrace. It's within walking distance to the bustling downtown area, which was great for meals and massages. You can hear music from a nearby club, but that's a matter of personal preference; if you think of it as a lively, developing area, it's not bothersome. The front desk staff were also very helpful."

"As an architecture lover, th hotel is incredibly beautiful - a 1930s Art Deco building was the former French colonial governor’s residence. The interiors are classy and elegant (and smelled really nice too!). Breakfast was great, as were the spa and gym. The staff were also incredibly helpful. Would definitely come back again!"

"We booked a 3 days 2 nights stay in a two-bedroom Lagoon View Villa, and it was incredibly spacious and comfortable. A special thank you to Ms. Nhi for her warm hospitality and for surprising me with a beautiful birthday cake. She also generously shared a potent, fresh ginger welcome drink that actually cured my sister’s cough. I highly recommend the spa; I had a Vietnamese massage with cupping that was professional and deeply relaxing. Dinner at Horizon Restaurant was scrumptious, with fresh flavors and a lovely atmosphere overlooking the lagoon. The hotel makes exploring very easy by offering a free shuttle to Hue City. We took advantage of this for a half-day trip which is very convenient."

"If you're looking for a five-star hotel in Hue that combines a great location, beautiful views, and a resort-like atmosphere, I highly recommend Grand Royal Riverside Hue, Fusion Collection. The hotel is situated on the banks of the Perfume River (Sông Hương), making it incredibly convenient for visiting important historical sites such as the Hue Imperial City (Kinh thành Huế), Dong Ba Market (Chợ Đông Ba), and Thien Mu Pagoda (Chùa Thiên Mụ). Whether you're planning a tour of the World Heritage sites or craving authentic Hue beef noodle soup (Bún bò Huế), everything is easily accessible. Upon entering, the lobby's design is elegant and grand, blending modern aesthetics with cultural elements of the Hue Imperial City. The overall space is spacious and bright, exuding a understated luxury. The guest rooms are comfortable and expansive, with large floor-to-ceiling windows that let in natural light. Some rooms even offer stunning views of the Perfume River, providing a relaxing atmosphere by day and tranquility by night – perfect for slowing down and appreciating the charm of this ancient capital. The hotel's breakfast offers a rich selection, including both international dishes and a variety of Vietnamese specialties. The staff are friendly and attentive, and from check-in to check-out, you can feel Fusion Collection's consistent commitment to excellent guest experience. I particularly enjoyed strolling along the Perfume River in the evening, taking in the sunset and night views, before returning to the comfort of my room. It truly allowed me to experience the leisurely and elegant pace of Hue, this thousand-year-old ancient capital. "Lovely resort, 2 very clean pools, beachfront, villas are very well presented, 2 TV’s, free WiFi, very good restaurant food items. Location is the only negative as there is nothing close bar a couple of very small lunch/ bar places for locals. Bay restaurants were closed when we were there."
