Huizhou Hotels with Bars

This stay was great! The staff were warm and attentive, and the hotel environment was clean and comfortable. The nearby beach was a lot of fun, and my child had a blast, especially with activities like parasailing. It's a perfect place for a family trip with kids; we had a pleasant stay and will definitely come back if we get the chance.

I only have high praise for this quaint and tasteful B&B! I had to extend my stay for an extra two nights as it was everything I wanted and more. It is so nicely decorated and situated on the main path of the famous Huizhou West Lake where there are a row of vendors selling local snacks and souvenirs. I can’t even begin to express how beautiful and serene it was to wake up to this view and to admire the lake at night when all the temples light up and little boats with their red lights are cruising around. There is even a rooftop where I enjoyed a Corona as the sunset . Absolute dreamy. And only steps away are the LED lit up streets full of restaurants, coffee shops, whisky bar, etc. and the opposite path leads you to historical tourist spots. The owner was beyond amazing and helpful as I arrived during National Week so she had her staff pick my up on a moped, offered drinks for me, told me where to go and eat, ordered Starbucks coffee for me, and even helped me get medicine from the pharmacy. I highly recommend this B&B and will return for sure !

Thanks to the front desk, we got a free upgrade during the off-season. The room had an amazing view, basically over 270 degrees of ocean. This hotel is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The facilities include a beach, hot springs, a kids' splash area, a swimming pool, and even cliffs and rocks for scenic views – more than enough for a two-day, one-night stay. Regarding the room, everything worked perfectly. The shower pressure was excellent, and the bedding was comfortable. Falling asleep to the sound of waves made for a great night's sleep. We also received complimentary welcome fruits. The view allowed us to see the very long coastline of Shuangyue Bay perfectly. The room also had a minibar and a small fridge. As for the service, I needed to freeze breast milk, and both the front desk and concierge responded efficiently, and the process was very smooth. Other online concierges also enthusiastically asked if I needed anything, and their responses were very prompt. The breakfast buffet caters to everyone, from seniors to children, with both Chinese and Western options. I think it's quite good for a five-star hotel breakfast. The only minor drawbacks were that the sand on the beach was a bit coarse, which could be uncomfortable when walking in the surf or playing in the sand. While the interior decor might make the hotel appear a bit dated due to the material choices, the lighting throughout the hotel is specially designed and looks beautiful at night.

Our stay at the Seaworld Seaview Room in Xunliao Bay was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless and well-equipped. It's just a few minutes' walk down to the beach, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The value for money was incredible, and the service was warm and attentive. We'll definitely choose this place again on our next visit.

This time, I booked the Peter Pan family room (this themed room is an end unit). The room was quite spacious, with toys and a hot spring, which my child absolutely loved! 👍 Cons: There was a musty smell in the corridor and some damaged areas. (P.S. There are only four elevators, so the wait can be very long when it's crowded on Fridays.) The front desk service was mediocre. When checking in, I asked for help to combine beds and install a bed rail, and the front desk staff told me: 'Call the guest service center once you're in your room.' 🤦‍♀️ The room's cleanliness was average; we found hair on the toys, clearly not cleaned. The bathroom floor and walls also looked a bit yellow. Perhaps it's because the hotel has been open for a while..... Also, there's a paid amusement park that costs 85 for all-day unlimited entry (it's very small; the hotel's free one is even smaller). When buying tickets, the staff didn't tell us about a 48 single-entry option, so the pricing felt opaque... Pros: The hot spring and water facilities are in the building next door. This building seems to be newly built, and it's cleaner than the hotel itself. 👍 There's free tea and watermelon within the resort. That's a plus! 👍 We went on a Thursday during the summer, so the crowds weren't too bad, and the water park attractions were a good experience (suitable for young children and seniors; my middle schooler found it boring). 👍 The buffet breakfast and dinner had a good variety, and the quality was decent (the breakfast rice rolls were delicious! The soy sauce was essential!). 👍 Overall, for this price and experience during peak season, it was okay. 😄

This Salt Crystal Hotel in Shuangyue Bay was such a pleasant surprise! The full sea view room offers an incredible vista, directly facing the ocean – you can enjoy the sea view right from your bed. The hotel's environmental hygiene is top-notch, with new facilities and beautiful surroundings. The staff are warm, courteous, and polite, making for a fantastic overall experience. The location is excellent, very convenient for seaside activities. It's definitely a top choice for couples on a getaway; we had a comfortable and relaxing stay and it's worth revisiting!

Beautiful, quaint apartment. Fully furnished with all the basic ammenities and needs. We had a great ocean view which wasn't directly South-facing, so the sun wasn't a big problem on the balcony. The projector had a paid VIP membership so we could watch whatever we wanted. The wifi also worked well. The beach is just across the road and a breeze to access. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and were eager to assist whenever needed. The room is cleaned every day and they supply fresh water. Breakfast was available promptly and there was a nice variety of food at the buffet. They only have the buffet over weekends though. They also give out free toys for kids to play on the beach with and you can collect free popcorn at night. I would definitely recommend this place to a couple or some friends going on holiday and wanting a relaxed beach atmosphere. There was difinitely enough space for us and our baby.

I had bookmarked this place two years ago, and it just so happened that my stay fell on my birthday. I specifically chose a hotel over a guesthouse, and it really lived up to expectations! The environment and cleanliness were excellent. Parking was super convenient with multiple underground levels of parking spots. I was very satisfied with the hotel's breakfast buffet; I took my time, watching the plants outside the window and spacing out for an hour. Even though I didn't eat much, listening to the music was so enjoyable. My parents went to the hot springs and said the water was very clean, but I didn't go in. I'd definitely come back again if I get the chance! The front desk staff, both the ladies and the 'little dog' (presumably a male staff member, possibly a playful nickname), were very enthusiastic and helpful! The pool was also beautiful, but it was regular temperature, not heated, so I couldn't go in.

Lake view twin room. The view was absolutely stunning as soon as I opened the window, and the spacious balcony offered a panoramic view of the entire resort. We spent our mornings and evenings exploring and taking photos in the Hallstatt-inspired town. In the mornings, you can even jog along the lake. The infinity pool's water was clean, and we enjoyed unlimited free swimming, which the kids loved. The breakfast was rich and varied, maintaining its quality despite the May Day holiday. I'd love to come back again for a relaxing weekend. Thank you for your hospitality!

I came with my elderly parents and two young children. The environment here is excellent. There's unlimited access to the water park and swimming pools. The room facilities are very good, with an unbeatable panoramic sea view. Each room has its own independent bathroom. They also provide free bed rails, and the staff were friendly and helped install them in the room. The booking included buffet dinner and breakfast, which were both quite good. The only thing is that during peak dining hours, there's a wait for tables, and food replenishment was a bit slow. You can also order other hotel set meals to be delivered to your room, which was also great. Our butler, Lily (Xiao Liu), was patient and responsible, answering all our questions on WeChat throughout our stay and providing timely assistance. However, it's not really suitable for very young children. The coastline is very long, and the hotel doesn't have much jurisdiction over other areas, so there are a lot of fireworks going off, which scared the kids. They continued until 2 or 3 in the morning, which is something to consider. Aside from that, it's a great place to visit repeatedly.
