AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is decent; you can walk to key attractions like Jiangnan Examination Hall. However, getting a taxi is inconvenient. In the morning, you can still catch a cab, but by midday, taxis can't stop there, so you have to walk a bit further out.
I recall the Trip.com page mentioning this hotel was built in 2025, and I've stayed at many Manxin hotels before, but this 2025 one surprisingly lacks smart devices. You have to manually draw the curtains, turn on the TV, and adjust the air conditioning.
The bathroom isn't even separated into wet and dry areas; everything is crammed together. The sink is right next to the toilet, and although the shower has a door, it also faces the toilet. This means only one person can use one function at a time. It's rare to find a hotel like this nowadays.
Breakfast was pretty standard, though the homemade items were quite tasty. The other pre-made items tasted like they were all from the same supplier, which is common for hotels of this type.

GGuest UserLocated within the Old East Gate scenic area, this beautiful guesthouse greeted us with a charming creak as we opened the door. The decor blended seamlessly with the old house, and the scent was lovely. On the rooftop, there were adorable little animals, and it was my first time seeing a weasel! However, the 'flower-viewing' attic room can get noisy at night due to its proximity to a bar. We were warned about this before checking in, but if I stay here again, I'll definitely book a different room.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located near Laomendong, making it convenient to visit Fuzi Temple and the old city wall. The front desk staff upgraded us to a twin room when they saw there were two of us, which was a nice touch! The room itself was quite spacious, with a charming retro Republic of China era style. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and there was free underground parking available.

GGuest UserKudos to the cleaning staff on the 15th floor during Chinese New Year. The front desk, which is supposed to be the hotel's face, was a letdown. We checked in at the left counter using Hong Kong IDs, and after we were done, they asked if we needed help with our luggage. We had elderly and children with us, but there wasn't a single word of greeting. Breakfast was up to four-star standards; not a huge variety, but good quality. The lounge on the 5th floor was very average. They had red and white wine, but you had to ask the staff for beer.

TTones from AustraliaWe absolutely love our stay at Club Med Nanjing, and I can’t recommend it enough—especially for families who love the outdoors. The nature aspect of this resort is simply stunning. You can spend days just exploring the grounds, walking through the lush scenery, and discovering little hidden spots around the property. Our kids were constantly engaged, curious, and excited to see what was around the next corner.
That said, what really made our stay special was the staff. I was genuinely surprised by how well the team speaks English. As foreign guests, we never once felt lost or unable to communicate. A very special call-out to Zai Zai, Diana, and Frankie—they have been incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived.
We later learned that they studied at university in Australia, which explains why communication felt so easy and natural. For any international travelers worried about a language barrier – don’t be. This team has you covered..
But more than just language, it’s their attentiveness to our children that blew us away. Diana, in particular, went above and beyond. She noticed how hard it can be to juggle three kids, so she would walk with us to the elevator and even push the button for us. It sounds like a small thing, but when you have your hands full with little ones, those little gestures mean the world. She also constantly checked in on our children, making sure they were happy, comfortable, and never left out.
There were a couple of kids' facilities that were closed during our visit—slightly disappointing at first. But honestly, the staff turned that around completely. They were so accommodating, quickly pointing out alternative activities and making sure our children always had something fun to do. Whether it was a quick arts band crafts setup, a guided nature walk, or just extra time at the play areas that remained open, the team made sure no moment felt wasted. The kids didn't even miss the closed facilities in the end.
Because of that, this resort is a fantastic holiday option for parents who actually want to relax. You can finally sit back, enjoy a coffee or a quiet moment, knowing your kids are not only having a blast but are also being genuinely looked after. The peace of mind that comes with that is priceless.
If you're a family that loves nature, values warm service, and wants a holiday where both parents and children come back happy and rested—book Club Med Nanjing. And say hello to Zai Zai, Diana, and Frankie. They're the best.

The front desk lady was very warm and provided excellent service. Breakfast was also incredibly rich and varied. The room itself was clean, tidy, and free of any strange odors. Definitely recommend it, and I'll be back again!

The soundproofing is superb; you can barely hear any noise from the tarmac in your room, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Allen provided professional, enthusiastic, and efficient service. The breakfast includes local duck blood vermicelli soup, which was quite good. The 24-hour gym is a great bonus, making this my top choice for overnight transits.

GGuest UserI stayed here on a business trip and was pleasantly surprised by the perfect experience. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Qixia Mountain, offering a quiet and peaceful environment, ideal for both work and rest without disturbance. The room layout is well-organized with good natural light, and the bedding is just right – not too soft, not too firm – ensuring a great night's sleep.
The shuttle service within the resort makes getting around very convenient. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices and tastes delicious, perfect for recharging.
Overall, the ambiance is elegant, combining practicality with comfort. It's suitable for both business travel and short leisure stays, offering great value for money and quality. Highly recommended!!

It seems like the door to the candy room is a little broken! Not so easy to close! Then the electric cars in the park require money to use but they are too slow! And the cost is a bit high!
The service attitude at the front desk is very good! Very eager to help!
The road to the swimming pool is not easy to walk! Must be very careful! It's easy to fall! The locker room environment needs cleaning!
The interior of the room is clean and acceptable!

AAleFragolaCleaning service should be improved. When you arrive in the room it is clear that they do not deep clean between one client and the other, cause the floors are not clean, there is dust, spider webs and there is heavy dirt in the corners of the room and behind the bathroom.
Prp: the bed of the room I got was very comfy and soft. The room had a closet to store my clothes, and a big desk that was very convenient for me. The area around the building is very lively with a lot of restaurants and it's quite near the subway and train station (walking distance around 10-15 min).
Cons:They should decide if they want you to provide an apartment or hotel service, they are not very clear what their aim is since they don't provide hotel service for short stays (like daily cleaning, they only take the rubbish but don't cleam bathroom and floors) but not even apartment service for longer stays (such as dish soap or a pot to cook, or things to clean the apartment on your own). They provide kitchen and washing machine with no cleaning products or kitchen appliances, not even soap to wash the mugs they provide (that were dirty). The people who work at the reception are friendly but completely disorganised. The first day I was locked out three times from my room cause they could not provide me with a proper keycode and finally gave me a key which I had to sit on the floor to open each time cause it was the emergency key of the electronic dial thing that there is on the door.
One day I came back and the cleaning lady took out my electricity card even if I had food in the fridge that could have gone bad. They said that I should not use electricity and the A/C too much otherwise I should have paid more. They never stated this nor on the website or in person.
After not providing me with good service, theh repeatedly asked me to give them good reviews and send them a screenshot of a 5 stars review, instead of asking me how to improve their service.
Overall, when I booked the price was worth it but I would not book it again now that the price is more expensive.
