Perfect
GGuest UserThis was my first time staying at Manxin Hotel and I absolutely loved it! The room was much brighter than I expected and so comfortable to stay in. The bed was super soft and cozy, and I really appreciated the pillow options, especially the latex pillow – perfect for someone picky about pillows like me! The soundproofing was excellent; I slept soundly until morning. The room was spotless, which made me feel very much at ease. The lighting was just right, not too dim, and the warm light created a very inviting atmosphere. The front desk lady was incredibly helpful and attentive, truly going above and beyond with the little details. I even received a small souvenir when checking out. Plus, it's right downstairs from the Confucius Temple – what a great location!

GGuest UserStayed here with my family and a friend for a few days. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and has great character. Laomendong is a busy pedestrian area but even though we had windows facing onto the street we could rarely hear much from outside. Breakfast is simple but tasty and healthy, it is the same every day though so if you like variety you might want to skip breakfast and go out. Staff were super helpful, moving our friend's room so we could be closer and helping with directions etc. If you like the idea of staying in Laomendong, I highly recommend.

DDuoduoduoduoduoduoThe service was excellent! The front desk staff were very responsive to guests' needs. The room was clean and comfortable, and the surrounding area was quiet. They even proactively upgraded my room. The laundry room and gym were also very convenient. There's a small courtyard outside that's perfect for photos on a nice day. Highly recommend staying here when you're traveling! 👍👍

CChuntianrannaifenBooked this place for a business trip to Nanjing and was pleasantly surprised. The room was very spacious, with a large bay window offering excellent natural light. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the shredded radish pancake was absolutely delicious! The lounge on the first floor was also very convenient for business meetings. My foreign colleague traveling with me also spoke highly of it. If I return to Nanjing, I would certainly choose to stay here again.

GGuest UserWas hard to find as the taxi driver coming from the train station drops you at the crossing and doesn't tell you where to go. He probably doesn't know himself as it's in a pedestrian area and cars can't get to it. If you're getting dropped off from the station you'll need to cross the road and walk towards the pedestrian shopping area. I arrived early, they allowed me to check in early. Staff don't speak any English and don't attempt to translate using their phone nor give you their wechat hotel number to communicate. My mandarin is minimal. Breakfast wasn't communicated. I proceeded to my room. The room was dusty and didn't appear to have been cleaned. The room I booked had a mini bar but the one they assigned didn't. I went back to reception. Reception is on level 5. This is me guessing based on the sign board in Chinese characters by the lift when I first got there. There's only one lift. There are stairs which I didn't use. I told them that the room was dirty and missing a mini bar. They told me to wait 30 mins while they got another room ready. No hesitation, no fuss at all. The next room was a bit better. The room is dated and needs a makeover. The clothes rack is rusty, the bed spread had holes in it. I found lashes stuck on the table. There needs to be a bit more attention to detail with cleaning and dusting. They might only empty the bins, change the bedding. The shampoo bottle was empty. I didn't say anything because I was using my own shampoo. The walls are soundproof. It does get noisy with guests slamming their door, a pub is down stairs and people yell and toot their scooter horn. It's a great location by the river which is always busy. Lots of food choices. To catch a ride, you need to go to one of the many footpaths by the road. Breakfast was good for savoury taste buds. The noodles the first morning were hard and cold. The coffee machine takes three top ups to get a cup. It was pitiful. The gym is just one treadmill. The washing room was great. I got washing done. I stayed here three nights. It was OK for the price I paid.

GGuest UserThis hotel is a hidden gem for families, definitely five stars! Its location right next to Qixia Mountain, with its own exclusive walking trails, makes for a super pleasant stroll after dinner. The grounds are spacious with lush greenery and fresh air, and the kids absolutely loved playing there. The guest rooms are well-designed with plenty of space and excellent facilities. The toiletries are high-quality, and the entire room was spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly and responsive to any request; the buggy service is always on call, making getting around a breeze. Breakfast offers a good balance of meat and vegetables, catering to both elderly guests and children. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, allowing you to connect with nature and experience Zen culture. Our whole family had a comfortable stay. Highly recommend for a family getaway!

XXinxin6611The front desk service was truly impressive. When I checked in, the lady at the front desk noticed I had an early flight and specially arranged a quiet room for me. She even thoughtfully asked if I needed a wake-up call. Every time I passed the front desk during my stay, they would smile and ask if I needed any help. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and it only took a few minutes to walk from the hotel to the terminal. Such service made me feel very warm and cared for.

TTianxinbaobeizhuMy husband and I chose The Ritz-Carlton Nanjing for our flower-viewing trip to Nanjing. The day before check-in, the hotel called to ask about our room preferences, and they accommodated what they could. We opted for the Executive Deluxe King Room, located on the 55th floor. The decor was exquisite, and the facilities were brand new. Welcome fruits were already laid out when we arrived, and the sofa by the window offered fantastic city views. The Executive Lounge on the 58th floor was spacious and grand, with expansive views of Xuanwu Lake, Jiming Temple, the ancient city wall, and Purple Mountain. We specifically booked an executive room for this lounge, which is renowned as one of the best executive lounges in China. It offers all-day dining with five meals: breakfast (6:30 AM - 10:30 AM), light lunch (11:30 AM - 1:30 PM), afternoon tea (2:30 PM - 4:30 PM), happy hour (5:30 PM - 8:30 PM), and late-night dessert and sweet wine (9:00 PM - 10:30 PM). It felt like we only had an hour to digest between meals – pure bliss! For breakfast, they had freshly prepared noodles and old duck vermicelli soup. Afternoon tea was served as a complete set, perfect for photos. Dinner menus changed daily, with two freshly prepared specialty dishes each night. I loved many of the options, especially their champagne – absolutely superb! Late-night desserts sometimes included snow pear with white fungus soup, which was delicious, or black sesame paste, or tangyuan with red beans. After eating so much, we'd take a boat ride on the Qinhuai River in the evening and return to the hotel around 9 PM, just in time to enjoy more food after digesting a bit. Among all the five-star executive rooms I've stayed in, this hotel's executive lounge had the widest variety of dishes and cocktails. We ate from morning till night and didn't even want to leave the hotel. When we returned to the room in the evening, the turndown service had already been completed. The staff who did the turndown service were incredibly thoughtful; they noticed we enjoyed the bananas from the welcome fruit platter and replenished them every night. Finally, the staff at The Ritz-Carlton were exceptionally warm and courteous. They would always greet us enthusiastically with ”Welcome back” whenever we met in the hallway, making us feel right at home. This is truly a hotel that makes you fall in love with it after just one night's stay.

AAnonymous UserThis hotel was a pleasant surprise during my trip to Nanjing! It will definitely be my top choice whenever I bring my child to Nanjing again. The staff were incredibly friendly towards kids, and the king-size bed was large and comfortable. The room size was significantly better than another hotel I stayed at in the Zhongshan Scenic Area for a similar price! Plus, the mini-bar drinks were complimentary for one round. The hotel also offers a free kids' play area included in some packages, which my two-year-old daughter absolutely loved! We even received a lovely horse-themed gift, which my daughter adored. The complimentary golf driving range experience was also a lot of fun for the whole family, and my daughter got to try it out for the first time! The coach was very friendly. During our Chinese New Year holiday stay, there was an amazing 'Dahualiu' (fireworks show) in the evening, and various handicraft activities available. I also noticed the swimming pool and gym looked pretty good; I hope to try them out next time. We had an early train on our second day, and after informing the restaurant, they kindly packed breakfast for us in advance. The service was excellent! And if you happen to miss the hotel restaurant's meal times, ordering takeout from nearby places is also very convenient, haha. All in all, my little one and I absolutely loved this hotel. Highly recommend!

CChifanpeiyinliaoThis hotel is definitely a great place to walk your kids! The ecology is very good! We even saw a hare! But maybe it’s because it’s outdoors! It seems like the door to the candy room is a little broken! Not so easy to close! Then the electric cars in the park require money to use but they are too slow! And the cost is a bit high! The service attitude at the front desk is very good! Very eager to help! The road to the swimming pool is not easy to walk! Must be very careful! It's easy to fall! The locker room environment needs cleaning! The interior of the room is clean and acceptable!
