Great location,easy to get around it’s walking distance to the best food street ,all well known Nanjing cuisine can be found here Walking distance to wudingmen metro station to and from Nanjing station ,just few steps away we can position ourselves for didi /taxi The hotel is located in the area maintaining Traditional Chinese architecture , decoration and greenery ,great for photography we got the room with a beautiful backyard full of plants and blossoms of flowers and a tray of welcome tea after checked in, the bed and pillows are comfortable ,showers is nice and warm Light Chinese breakfast served is good enough to start a day and not too much for the delicious Nanjing lunch later on:-) The girls at front desk are very friendly and sweet they were always ready to help The owners I guess who were on night shift were polite and respectful Overall we had a great time here thank you

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Racha Mankha, and I can’t recommend it enough! This hotel is a hidden gem, offering a secluded and quiet retreat that truly embodies peace and relaxation. The ambiance is simply delightful, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. I can confidently say that the Thai cuisine here is some of the best I’ve ever had in Nanjing! Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Additionally, I indulged in their Thai massage services, and it was an absolute must-try! The skilled therapists provided a rejuvenating experience that left me feeling refreshed and relaxed. While the area may not have as many tourist attractions as other parts of Nanjing, the tranquility and quality of service at Racha Mankha more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with fantastic food and pampering, this is the place to be!

The breakfast offered a great variety and was delicious. The location is truly excellent, super close to the Confucius Temple pedestrian street, and Zhan Garden is right downstairs. They even sent a cake for my birthday, which was a very thoughtful touch. The only thing that disappointed me was not getting a small snack when checking out; I saw many other guests receiving them, and I was still thinking about it even after getting home.

Nanjing Huaji Laomendong Hotel was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we pushed open the door and stepped inside, it felt as though we had been transported back in time—into the elegance and charm of the early 1900s. The hotel has so much character. Every corner is thoughtfully designed, with beautiful vintage details, carefully chosen furnishings, and charming decorative pieces that make the entire space feel warm, nostalgic, and full of atmosphere. It felt less like checking into a hotel and more like stepping into a beautifully preserved old residence with its own story to tell. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was wonderfully comfortable, and we loved the view overlooking the street below. The room itself felt thoughtfully curated—comfortable while still fully in keeping with the hotel’s historic aesthetic. One of the best parts of staying here is the location inside the Laomendong area itself. Before the shops open and the crowds arrive, the neighborhood feels peaceful and almost dreamlike. We were able to wander through the old streets in the soft morning sunlight, enjoying the quiet atmosphere and appreciating the beauty of flowers, trees and the architecture in a completely different way. Those tranquil morning moments became some of our favorite memories from Nanjing. This hotel is more than just a place to stay—it feels like part of the experience of visiting Nanjing. If you appreciate heritage, atmosphere, thoughtful design, and the charm of old streets in the early morning before the city wakes up, this place is truly special. We would confidently recommend it to anyone visiting Nanjing. Staying here added something unforgettable to our trip, and we would happily return.

Our family of three (with a child over 18) booked two of the cheapest 1.5m queen rooms. Even during a holiday, the price including breakfast was cheaper than nearby chain hotels. The rooms were also a bit larger, and being a five-star hotel, the soundproofing and breakfast were definitely better. Unexpectedly, because there weren't two adjoining rooms, the young man at the front desk directly upgraded us to one deluxe queen room and one executive suite! The air conditioning in both rooms worked exceptionally well, and they were very clean. The staff were also enthusiastic. Although the hotel is older, it's still well-maintained. Breakfast was varied and the dining environment was unique. A few small suggestions: The bathroom had no phone holder (or any shelf at all); there was only one power outlet on one side of the bed; and for a suite with so many rooms, there was no large sofa or chaise lounge, only single armchairs, which wasn't ideal for lounging 😂. Also, a weighing scale was missing.

This summer, I took my daughter to stay at the Dream Castle parent-child room at Yunxi Yasu, and choosing this accommodation for our Nanjing family trip really saved us a lot of hassle. The guesthouse's location is super convenient, making it easy to get to Hongshan Zoo, Xuanwu Lake, and Maya Water Park without long commutes, which is a big plus when traveling with kids. The room has just the right touch of childlike charm, with pink bow pillows, dessert-themed artwork, and a gentle, cute vibe. It even comes with a DIY dessert station, a complete set of children's makeup toys, and various plush dolls. My daughter was completely immersed the moment we walked in, playing quietly all afternoon. Downstairs, there are plenty of dining options; my daughter was thrilled to find Cha Yan Yue Se (a popular tea shop), and local specialties like Jiming soup dumplings and duck blood vermicelli soup are just downstairs. The overall setup is clean and thoughtful, perfectly catering to a little girl's preferences. It's highly recommended for families with young daughters who want both convenience and comfort on their travels.

Last May Day, we visited the Club Med in Taicang, and the GOs recommended the newly opened Club Med in Nanjing. This summer, I brought my child here for a weekend (three days, two nights) during the school holidays, and the experience was fantastic, definitely a full five-star rating! **Accommodation:** The rooms were clean and tidy, and the housekeeping was meticulous. The cleaning staff were very friendly and patient, always refilling our drinking water. The resort grounds are spacious and comfortable, with excellent natural surroundings. You can overlook the lake from the balcony, offering a wide and open view. **Activities:** There are plenty of facilities for play, both indoors and outdoors. We happened to be here during a heatwave, so we mostly opted for indoor activities. The indoor sports area includes basketball, badminton, table tennis, billiards, and rock climbing, as well as a 'parkour' area (similar to an adventure course) that my child loved, which we visited for two consecutive days. You can also book KTV sessions. When it's hot, you can also sit at the U Bar and play cards, which is very relaxing. Outdoor activities are also abundant. You can cross a bridge to 'Explore Park,' where you can try archery, kayaking, windsurfing, or even the 'flying trapeze.' However, the flying trapeze requires training, and you need to be able to hang from a bar with both hands for at least ten counts. Neither of us had that much grip strength (we could only manage up to five), so we just watched other 'experts' try it. Kayaking was quite nice; the lake water was clear, and there were little ducks swimming around. It's best to go in the late afternoon, around 5-6 pm, to avoid the intense sun for a better experience. My sister and I kayaked together, and circling the large lake wasn't tiring at all. It's suitable for mothers or older children with moderate physical fitness. **Service:** The butler service was online throughout our stay, with quick responses and smooth communication. Whether it was booking activities or requesting supplies, they responded and handled everything promptly. When we wanted a clothes drying rack for our swimwear on the balcony after swimming, it was provided very quickly, which was incredibly thoughtful and professional. Being peak summer holiday season, the restaurant entrance traffic was also managed efficiently; just stating your room number allowed for quick entry, which was very user-friendly. Here, you can shed your fatigue and quietly enjoy your holiday. I'm already planning to come back when the weather isn't so scorching (the 'furnace city' reputation is certainly well-deserved). **Two additional points:** There's an external food delivery pick-up point near the entrance, which is very convenient. I also loved the hotel's lighting fixtures; they were very artistic. Finally, a big thank you to our butler, KIKI Angel, for the excellent service!

A Delightful Stay at Nanjing Guildford Hotel My stay at Nanjing Guildford Hotel was one of the highlights of my trip to Nanjing. The hotel’s location is excellent, within walking distance of Fuzimiao (Confucius Temple), the Qinhuai River, and Laomendong. It is also conveniently located for Nanjing South Railway Station, Nanjing Lukou International Airport, and Niushoushan. What impressed me most was the exceptionally high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel. Both the room and common areas were spotless and very well maintained, making the stay extremely comfortable. The room itself was spacious, thoughtfully designed, and much larger than I expected. There was plenty of room to relax, enjoy takeaway meals, or simply unwind while admiring the river view from the large windows. The smart room features added a modern touch to the experience. Using Xiao Du, I could conveniently control the curtains and lighting with voice commands. Every morning, opening the curtains to the beautiful river view and morning sunshine was a wonderful way to start the day. Another highlight was the deep soaking bathtub beside the window overlooking the river and flowering trees. Combined with the waterfall-style shower and automated toilet seat, the bathroom experience felt luxurious and relaxing. The service was outstanding throughout my stay. The staff were warm, professional, and attentive. I had several parcels and deliveries sent to the hotel before my arrival, and the team carefully received them and arranged for them to be delivered directly to my room. The hotel’s delivery robot was also efficient and convenient, providing notifications before arriving at the room. Combining excellent service, outstanding cleanliness, spacious rooms, smart technology, beautiful views, and a fantastic location, Nanjing Guildford Hotel exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend the Jade Sleep Hotel! 1. **Perfect Location:** It's right next to Deji Plaza in Xinjiekou, with direct access to the subway and shopping district. Super convenient for getting around and running errands. 2. **Excellent Environment:** The rooms are elegantly decorated, with great lighting and views. Soundproofing is top-notch, ensuring a very peaceful rest. 3. **Attentive Service:** The staff are friendly and address any requests quickly. Their attention to detail is impressive. 4. **Impeccable Hygiene & Facilities:** Everything was clean and well-maintained. The bedding and toiletries were high quality. Overall, my stay far exceeded expectations, offering great value for money.

Five-Day Stay in Nanjing Check-in Experience We arrived early at around 6 AM due to the difficulty of booking train tickets during the holiday season. Although check-in was at 3 PM, the staff kindly accommodated us with an early check-in for an additional fee. Accommodation We stayed in two types of rooms during our visit: Single Room - Spacious and located in a peaceful, quiet area of the property. RV Room - Situated near the camping area where families and friends gather around a large bonfire for singing, BBQ, and games. **Ratings** Staff: 8/10 - Friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Shuttle Service: 10/10 - The driver was exceptionally pleasant and always smiling. Since my daughter has asthma and walking long distances is difficult for her, we frequently requested shuttle service between locations. This was especially helpful as ride-share drivers typically drop off at the entrance, which is quite a walk from the rooms and facilities. Breakfast: 10/10 - Excellent variety of traditional Chinese dishes. They were accommodating when my husband requested takeout. Cleanliness: 10/10 - Both rooms were clean, including the beds, towels, and bathrooms. As my daughter’s asthma is triggered by dust, I was pleased that the rooms were clean enough that she didn’t experience any sneezing or symptoms. We all slept well for the entire five days. **Things to Consider** It’s highly recommended to have your own car, as the property is quite far from the city center. If you enjoy nature and outdoor activities, this place is ideal. Activities include: - ATV rides - Fishing area - Playground (note: adults are charged rather than children, so it’s more economical for only one adult to enter) - Small animal area featuring rabbits, ostriches, and llamas (15 RMB entry) - Train ride (30 RMB) The coffee shop has a wonderful atmosphere and aesthetic appeal, making it popular for photos. The property itself is spacious and perfect for leisurely walks. There’s also a temple nearby, approximately 20 minutes away by car. **Challenges We Faced** My daughter developed a fever and experienced diarrhea during our stay. When I called the front desk for help, the staff member wasn’t very accommodating and suggested my husband go buy medicine. This was difficult for us as foreigners who don’t speak the language well. I felt sad and helpless, especially when we couldn’t get any taxis or cabs to pick us up. We wanted to take her to the hospital, but no cabs were available. However, the next morning, a staff member spoke with me who was extremely kind and accommodating. They even offered to drive my daughter to the hospital, which I declined because we needed to catch our train and she was feeling better after taking medicine. They drove us to the South Railway Station and thoughtfully gave my daughter bags and drinks. It was a very kind gesture that we truly appreciated.
